ZEN MOON Hostel

The hostel is clean and cozy. Very cute overall. However, it is not a very social hostel. There is only one dorm and we were 3 in it. Moreover, although the location is perfect and feels very safe, it would be nice if we could have a key to lock the door of the room, as the room is on the ground floor and everything is open. The host looked very nice but was very distracted. For example, when we arrived he looked surprised and said he didn’t know we had reserved (we booked more than 24h before...

Pros: Friendly staff, good location, nice bathrooms, lovely building. Cons: Top bunks very high up, very quiet hostel too (although that could be a plus depending on what you want).

Comfortable place to stay! Bit hidden in an alley which makes it most of the time very quiet, sometimes a motor pass by and that you can hear clearly. They have a very nice rooftop on 3rd floor with kitchen, fridge, pans etc. Very clean. The owners are very friendly and helpfull couple. I extended my stay several times (shared room) due to change of plans. All good. They also offer free tea and cookies etc. the showers have shampoo/soap. shower has warm water and nice waterpressure!

Nous avons séjourné ici pendant deux jours. Nous avons beaucoup appréciés la propreté de l’hôtel, que ce soit notre chambre et la partie commune sur le toit. Le propriétaire est discret et très aimable, chaque matin et le soir en rentrant de notre journée dans la ville, nous avions du thé et des gâteaux sur notre terrasse. Merci pour ce superbe accueil.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wurden nett begrüßt und es gab immer eine Kleinigkeit zu Essen und zu Trinken vor dem Zimmer. Auch die Dusche und das Badezimmer waren sauber und toll!

Really enjoyed my stay here! The owners were really relaxed about us extending our stay, good facilities with free hot water, coffee and washing machine. Nice rooftop area to relax on. More of a chill hostel than social

Great value for price. The private room was very comfortable. The hostel owners very kind and provided a great service.They left hot/cold water, tea and coffee and snacks before our room door. The mosquito net was also great.

Hostel parfait pour un séjour à yogyakarta, super bien placé, très confortable et relaxant. Très beau toit terrasse offrant une jolie vue. L’hote est tres agréable et arrangeant. Il nous a aidé a trouver un chauffeur pour une journée aux différents temples. On recommande +++ Tres bon rapport qualité prix pour la chambre individuelle

The atmosphere is very relaxing, we were really suprised by the beautiful hostel and its owner. The doors are not locked by night, but you can put your stuff in lockers. That is the only "negative" point. Can really recommend!

Un lugar bonito y tranquilo. Bien ubicado. El barato. Tiene un baño exterior muy chulo. Si le preguntas te pasa tour a los templos pero preguntar si quedan tickets para templo de borobudur que cuando fuimos nos pasó eso,que al ser temporada alta no pudimos entrar dentro y nos quedamos por fuera. El sitio está en una calle de turistas,tranquilo al ser una callejuela interior y con varios restaurantes sin el bullicio de la ciudad

Ostello molto grazioso, pulito e ben curato. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo apprezzato tante piccole accortezze, come profumare la stanza con incenso prima del nostro arrivo, le pantofole, gli spazzolini e i saponi a disposizione, la colazione fuori dalla stanza. Ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo!
