I Never see that of m’y Life a lot of cockroach all of the bathroom is dirty. The réceptionist opened my curtain in the middle of the night to verify if I was sleeping (maybe to steal something) I don’t recommend this hostel and be careful a lot of strange people sleep in this hostel BE CAREFUL !!!!!’

Habe den Ha Gian Loop über das Hostel gebucht. Sie haben mir auch die Busse organisiert als ich wieder ankam um 4 Uhr haben sie mir kein Bett mehr angeboten. Das davor aber nicht dazu gesagt.

Overhyped, not a nice vibe, too expensive for what you get. My 2 male roommates shaved and left their hair everywhere, also pee on the toilet seat! Woke up after the first night with bites on my body. They had a bedbug situation and just wrapped the mattresses in plastic which does not work with bed bugs. Staff would not take it seriously and said it’s probably from the ocean even though I did not go to the ocean. Was reading some reviews and saw that the same thing happened to other people.

Woke up covered in bed bug bites, staff refused to admit it and would not refund me. Very rude handling of the situation, had to leave an get another hostel

False advertisement! The beds/rooms don't look like pictured on Hostelworld and on top my room stank. There were also a lot of hairs on my fresh bed at check-in and after redoing it, it was only slightly better?! Even though the outer area is nice, I would not book it again, especially when there are cheap and sooo much better homestays around! Just stay somewhere else and come to visit the bar. No idea why this hostel is so hyped.

My booking was cancelled without being notified, without refunding the deposit and only letting us stay 1 night.

Was recommended this hostel by a lot of travellers so are expectations were high, however it didn’t live up to this. In comparison to other hostels this one didn’t provide the same value for money. The only thing we got with our money was the room. Despite this nice pool, With a nice social area. food and drink was expensive however there are lots of restaurants around the hostel for a better price as it is in a good location.

DO NOT BOOK TRANSFER OR TRIPS THROUGH THEM. We booked a Sleeper bus through them to ha giang. When trying to find our bus the sent pictures of a sleeper bus and gave us a license plate and everything. Then a completely different limo bus showed up 30 mins before they told us to be there (had we not been early we would have missed it). I would not recommend this place, they are just all about the money, and charge or scam you in different ways. After 6pm there is no water running, and their construction workers start at 8am in a Saturday morning, the staff is everything but helpful and don’t provide any solutions, the reception is not open 24h as they state. Do not rent a scooter from them! They are unsafe and dangerous

The rooms were mouldy. Also arrived early off a night bus and had to wait outside by the pool when they have plenty of indoor common room space we could have sat and slept in as many other hostels offer. Tours are also really over priced. Much younger crowd for groups rather than solo.

The staff were very friendly. Nice location definitely a party hostel if you’re into that.

Really good hostel. Social but not too party. They have events every night but music stops at 11. Also there is white noise in the room with your own personal fan and the a/c so you don’t really hear the music. They give you towel, locker, etc. Pool and common area is great. Only thing is since it’s such a big hostel sometimes it’s weirdly harder to meet people, but quiz night is a good night to meet. 100% would recommend

On of the best, and chilled hostels I have very stayed in. I was kind of sad to leave. 100% must try!!

I loved this hostel. I booked a 4 female dorm and it was a nice size room with double beds and a big bathroom. My only critique was the AC was so cold we were all frozen. I love the set up, there is a pool with lots of space to sit and a bar. It’s definitely the place to be social. I wish I stayed another night. They have activities, tours, and everything, The staff were super friendly and amazing. Probably the best staff service I’ve ever had in a hostel. I highly recommend here!

Loved this hostel! Huge rooms that even had a balcony! Atmosphere on the evening was fun and staff were lovely. Great location and such a nice overall campus. Only 1 slight downside was the downstairs bathroom near the main bar / common area smelled lol

Had a great stay here. I stayed in the all female dorm. The beds are huge, which was a nice treat. I wish I had more time here. Great location. Very easy to bike to things and grab is readily available.

Great location, great vibes, great facilities! Really nothing bad to say about Banana Tree. Good combination of social activities and the ability to just sit by yourself if you want to.

Lovely hostel in a good location, with great rooms and decent bathrooms. The beds were big, with fans and sockets. The whole hostel was very clean and pretty. Staff were so lovely, super helpful and spoke amazing English. Food was really nice and decent activities. We rented both motorbikes and pedal bikes from them too at a decent price. Beds had a plastic cover on the mattress which felt a bit weird, but butter than bed bugs and dirty mattresses I guess. Having stairs was nice. Get desserts!!

Don't book the 8 bed dorms, it smells horrible and people walk in all night long and slam the doors. Could not sleep so went to another hostel and didn't finish my stay.

Absolutely loved this hostel, it was very social and centre of town so very easy to get everywhere. The staff were super friendly and the food is great. Well priced drinks too!

Das Hostel hat eine Mega Atmosphäre! Durch die Veranstaltungen jeden Abend ist es super leicht neue Leute kennenzulernen. Das Essen ist lecker und die Mitarbeiter sind alle total lieb und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sauber. Die Klimaanlage ist vom Personal leider etwas kalt eingestellt also sollte man sich für nachts evtl. etwas wärmeres mitnehmen wenn man schnell friert, da die Decken extrem dünn sind.

A really great hostel in a good location in Tam Coc. The staff were very helpful in helping to organise onward travel & the laundry service was good. Really comfy and spacious bed in the dorm with your own locker, light & fan. Bathroom was also spacious and plenty of showers around. Pool was great for the hot days to chill. Sociable but not party vibes and get everyone involved in the activities at night time.

Ik snap de hype niet helemaal. De locatie is echt top, maar mijn dorm was erg warm ondanks de airco, de matrassen zaten in een soort plastic hoes en de sanitaire voorzieningen waren buiten het gebouw. Het gaf heel erg camping vibes, en ik vond het hier wat moeilijker om vrienden te maken omdat er niet veel activiteiten zijn. De adventure tour was wel erg leuk!

The 4 bed dorm was large and comfortable, with lots of space to walk around and the biggest beds i’ve seen in a hostel. The balcony attached to the dorm was also very cute and comfortable to sit. However, the hostel had a strange vibe of not being very social but rather just randomly coming alive in the evening, although i would not describe it as a crazy party hostel. It is not the ideal set up to meet people as a solo traveler. Other than that, staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean!

felt like a resort with the facilities but as it’s so spread out very difficult for solo travellers to meet as u aren’t forced to speak to others also everyone seems to leave room doors and windows open and unlocked yet it still felt safe

Pros: -good location -clean and large rooms/bathrooms Cons: - beds not comfy - no one on reception when I went to rent a bike early morning - I was messing the hostel about transport to the hostel but they stopped responding to me mid conversation, wasn’t helpful Overall I would look for an alternative option if I were to return
