Sunny Bungalow Riverside Ninh Binh

Pros: . The dormitory is one of the nicest and cleanest I've ever seen during my trip. I slept really well. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and very clean. Cons: . far from Tam Coc, getting there by bike is dangerous because you have to cross very busy roads. . Bike rental is expensive (80k day) . The photos do not correspond to reality, the structure in general is in a state of abandonment (for example: the swimming pool) . You cannot pay with credit card

IF you want to check out Tam Coc rice fields, the location sucks! But if you want to spend some time living in a nice place with a gym and pool, the location is great! You get a small breakfast, can hit the gym for a few hours, and then go for lunch and explore the neighborhood… I really enjoyed my stay at Sunny and would like to go back! It’s a great place for active people, but if you a lazy bum or a couch potato, just stay away and find another place to stay!

Best place to stay in Ninh Binh for sure. Had a pool and a gym. Beds were huge in the dorms, bike was a great price and there was food nearby.

Such a lovely little hostel, I basically had my own private room. So clean, super peaceful and the amenities were amazing. However you really are in the middle of nowhere. If you have a ped it’s fine but you can’t walk anywhere. The lady that works there is sooo lovely, super helpful with any requests that I had!

The hostel was amazing. The facilities are impressive, you have a huge gym, you have a boxing ring and you have a wall for climbing. I have been traveling through Asia for 6 months and without a doubt it was the best bed I have ever slept in. They were like a cloud, very comfortable. The bathrooms were super clean and had hot water, it was great. It is not centrally located, but if you rent a bike or a bicycle everything is close. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Loved this hostel, definitely worth the hype! Great location by the river, great facilities, free pool and gym and super clean, and the staff were lovely! No negatives, great to have separate male/female toilets. Other than that, we had a great stay and were sad we couldn't stay longer.
