The Pineapple House

The location of the hostel is good, but the rooms are not clean, there are hairs and dust throughout the whole room. The beds are dirty.

The beds was hard and the toilets in the dorm was always dirty. The water pressure in the showers was low and there was mould everywhere. BUT nice pool, helpful staff and great breakfast for the price.

Na het inchecken werden we naar een kamer bij een ander hostel gebracht, zonder dat ons werd verteld waarom. Deze kamer was heel anders dan wat we hadden geboekt. Nadat we hierover begonnen kregen we wel een kamer bij Pineapple. Die kamer was prima, maar de badkamer was niet heel schoon en de douche hield er ineens mee op. Onze was laten doen, die was snel klaar en netjes. Locatie goed, klein kwartiertje lopen naar centrum Tam Coc.

A bit far from the center, 15 mins walking, free breakfast

I booked two nights and got moved rooms after one night which was annoying. They started packing up my stuff to move me too, weird. Beds were ok. Pool was a bit dirty. Breakfast ok. The staff were polite. Generally weird vibe and really quiet. Wouldn’t stay here again. Tamcoc chill and Banana Tree are much better.

It was really good, but there was no reallly much people

It was difficult to communicate with the staff, and the free breakfast wasn’t filling. The dorm room smelled to bad from the mold, and it was impossible to air out. There was mold in my pillow and the water in the shower did not get warm. It had a good location and there was also a pool there. No social activity and talking with others backpacker, so good for those who want some quiet time. There was no way to lock up your things, there was just a big whole. Nettes Hostel, ein wenig entfernt vom Trouble. Personal unfassbar nett. Alles ein wenig ruhiger und kleiner daher denke ich einfach geschmacksache.

Schöner Außenbereich und nette Familie. Es ist etwas außerhalb aber noch okay erreichbar. Blöd war, dass es keine Möglichkeit gibt, seine Sachen wegzuschließen.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at - huge beds with private curtains, fans and lights, big pool, amazing free breakfast. The family who run it are amazing and super helpful with booking activities and busses ect. Definitely recommend!

Stunning hostel with everything you could ever need!! The breakfast spread was amazing and the pool area is so good. Only downfall is that it’s a little walk away from the centre but Grab is available or can hire bikes/scooters!

Really nice place / pool and awesome family running it, also good quality bikes compared to the other ones I’ve used. Atmosphere is more chill compared to some party hostels but can still meet people easy if you want. Overall would recommend especially at the price point

Staying at this hostel was an absolute pleasure! The family and staff are lovely, helpful, and always smiling. The property is beautiful, featuring a central pool and spacious rooms with comfortable beds and foot-friendly wooden stairs. My bathroom was kept spotless.​The breakfast buffet is incredible, with crepes, eggs, and a massive variety of fresh fruit. I also highly recommend the massage; Thung Nguyen was amazing and relieved all my tension! They even let me shower before my night bus.�...

The owners were a lovely family - hotel next foor also has really good value and nice private rooms we also stayed in. Couldn’t recommend enough:)

The staff were so helpful and provided excellent information making booking trips and buses so easy. Lovely rooms and breakfasts, I cannot recommend this hostel enough! 🫶

Loved this hostel. The women running it are so lovely and very helpful. Its a little bit out of the main Tam Coc centre but only a 10ish minute walk and there plenty of restaurants etc nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

10/10 family run super chilled and clean rooms

I loved this cute family owned and run hostel. It was a little odd at first to be greeted at the front desk by a child but the family is so accommodating, sharing, and kind. They helped me book an overnight bus to Hoi An and personally drove me to the stop. Truly going above and beyond which was especially comforting as a solo traveler.

We had an amazing stay at the hostel (hotel), we booked a private room for 3 of us and it was stunning! Pool was beautiful! The staff helped us book our onward transport, held our luggage for us after check out and even had towels ready for us so we could shower before our sleeper bus! They were lovely! Food was great!!!! Best hostel we have stayed in during 3 months of travelling!

Best hostel I’ve stayed in. The staff are so lovely and helpful - we arrived from Ninh Binh at about 4AM and they woke up to let us check in early (we messaged in advance). The dorms are big and clean with good AC. The breakfast is great. Nice outside seating to socialise with a pool and pool table - it’s not a party place but I met some really nice people here

Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Damen, die das Hostel führen sind wirklich sehr lieb und helfen einem mit allem weiter.

Loved the stay at Pineapple house. It was calm but you could socialize and it was at awalking distance from Tam Coc centre

Recommended by a friend and really enjoyed our stay here. Staff are super helpful, I suggest booking activities through them instead of other sites. The pool area was nice and shaded which felt comfortable in the high temperature. Lots of space to hang and socialise with a group meal each evening which was lovely!

Nice, chill hostel. Not very social but a relaxing place to enjoy Ninh Binh.

Geweldig hostel! Voelt eerder als een homestay:) heeeel aardig personeel die je helpen met alles wat je nodig hebt. Hoewel het een rustig (en schoon) hostel is is het wel sociaal en gezellig. Super leuk
