Ostello S. Fosca - CPU Venice Hostels

+ The other girls I shared the room with were very kind, and the location is far from the busy streets so it’s very quiet (but that also means it’s far from the station)

- The reception guy was just incredibly rude, information isn’t shared well enough amongst the staffs, he threatened that he’ll leave and I won’t be able to check in even though I was well within the check-in time I was specifically told in the email, you have to pay €4 for the shitty hard towels, hair dryer isn’t in the room and you have to ask for it every time, the surface is ok but the bathroom is disgustingly smelly (I’m positive they’re not cleaning the drains), AC and radiator isn’t available to use even though they’re in the room (they say it’s the law but it’s bs because I could definitely use AC in other Venice hotels), they don’t reply within business hours, they lie about the radiator becoming available soon (it didn’t), and when I ask for that because the room was freezing they ignore you even if it was within business hours (they insist the room had above 24℃ but that is a total lie as it was literally freezing in the room, not just me but other guests were cold too), they (he) are far from helpful and kind. Maybe the female staff was nicer than this male staff with glasses. I had to leave the hostel the second day because of how horrible it was.

- Camera piccola, un bagno solo per 6, non funzionava bene lo scarico, prezzo assurdo per un tale servizio

+ Las instalaciones son cómodas, están aseadas y se realiza limpieza todos los días.

- Al realizar el check out por descuido olvide mi bolso personal en el área de guardar los equipajes, me percato media hora después mientras iba a dirigirme al aeropuerto, me dirijo a poner la denuncia, llamo al hostal desde la policía del aeropuerto de Venecia, les informo y me comunican que "no estaba allí" , la llamada fue la 1:10 p.m. y me respondieron a las 11: 40 p.m. (de la noche) por medio de whatsapp indicándome que efectivamente allí estaba (horas después....muchas horas después) cuando ya estaba hospedada en Roma para ir al Consulado de mi país. Tuve que devolverme a Venecia (4 horas en tren) y al recuperar la cartera me di cuenta que había un faltante de 150 euros, mi pasaporte y mi maquillaje sí se encontraba, al yo decirle al muchacho de la recepción que faltaba dinero me responde que "nada puede hacer". Solo me pidió que le mostrara la hora en que me respondieron la llamada y los mensajes. No logro entender cómo se le dificultó tomar unos segundos para revisar el lugar que le indique a la recepcionista (hasta foto le envié) y ni aun así se comportó de manera amable y honrada.

+ La ubicacion

- Nuestra experiencia en este alojamiento ha sido totalmente inaceptable. La habitación no disponía de aire acondicionado y alcanzaba temperaturas insoportables, superiores a los 35 °C. Durante la noche, pese a mantener las ventanas abiertas, la situación no mejoraba en absoluto. El calor era tan extremo que incluso pensamos en dormir en el balcón, pero la puerta estaba bloqueada, lo que nos dejó sin ninguna alternativa. El resultado fue que apenas pudimos descansar una o dos horas y, ante la imposibilidad de permanecer una noche más en esas condiciones, nos vimos obligados a abandonar el establecimiento y pagar otro alojamiento en Venecia. Al exponer nuestra situación en recepción, no recibimos ni una disculpa ni una explicación. Este lugar, al menos en verano, no reúne las condiciones mínimas para garantizar un descanso digno. El calor insoportable hace que sea imposible dormir y, para colmo, terminamos con múltiples picaduras. En definitiva, una experiencia pésima que no recomiendo bajo ningún concepto.

- L’établissement ressemble plutôt à un centre de services sociaux qu’à un hôtel bien noté. Il est pourtant affiché avec une note de 8,0/10, ce qui est incompréhensible. Les toilettes étaient très désagréables. Mon fils a même dû se doucher dans les toilettes des femmes. Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre. J’étais avec mon enfant de 13 ans, et nous n’avons pas pu dormir à cause du bruit : on entendait des pas et des cris toute la nuit. L’un des lits avait une tache de sang. Et pour tout ça, j’ai payé plus de 88 €. Ce n’est vraiment pas normal.

- Almost 100 EUR for a private room with only a fan older than my mother, even though it was 35°. I wouldn’t recommend staying here during summer.

- The bathroom, the big rooms with no intimacy and no sleep

- We arrived at the hotel, and the reception staff told us that our room wouldn't be available today due to the sewer failure in the bathroom. They tried to contact me earlier, but I didn't see the message. We were offered a room in another hotel, far from our chosen location. I asked about arranging a complimentary transfer to this other hotel - NO; I asked if we could get a full refund for this reservation so we could find something else in this neighborhood - NO. It was shocking. We were disappointed not by the failure but by the hotel's attitude. I will never choose it again.

- 일단 무거운 캐리어 있으신 분은 절대 가지마세요 캐리어 들고 계단있는 다리를 네다섯개 건너야돼요 이것도 에바인데 숙소가 진짜 개더워요 에어컨은 당연히 없고 선풍기 있는데 그걸로 절대 해결안되는.. 걍 찜통같아요 트리플룸으로 예약했는데 선풍기도 두대밖에 없었고 주방도 잠깐 봤는데 더러웠어요 후기가 왜 좋은건지 모르겠지만 그냥 돈 좀 더 내고 다른 곳 가세요 기숙사도 아니고 감옥 수용소 같음.. 저희는 하룻밤도 못자겠어서 밤에 다른 호텔 부랴부랴 예약해서 옮겼습니다 잠깐이었지만 최악이었어요

+ Una bella struttura, bella ubicazione, personale gentile.

- La puzza di fogna nel bagno. Il prezzo alto per la location ci sta ma considerate che la colazione e gli asciugamani non sono inclusi (ci sono dei bicchieri all’ingresso per fare colazione da voi o cucina). Il bagno non pulitissimo (un lavandino rotto). Aggiungere una piccola luce sul letto così da non svegliare tutta la camera.
