i was put in a 10-person room even though i booked a 8-person room, it wasn’t very clean and not the best experience overall.
This is not how it seems online. It's more like a college student dorm than a hostel. Facilities are in a bad state and there are too little of them for too many people. The staff is constantly getting high and everything smells like old weed and smoke. They also messed up our booking, trying to put me and my friend (both girls) into different rooms. This was easily fixed though. Yes, this is cheap and close to the city center of Split, but I would not recommend going here. Please stay safe.
The rooms are to small for the quantity of beds, I didn’t have much space to move and organize my bags in the room, was two dogs inside of our room sleeping, I think that’s not to hygienic and they were listening to loud music in the living room already after 11pm and we heard it in the room, I’m disappointed with the hostel.

Horrible stench in the room… with the smell lasting my whole stay. Solution from the staff: “just open the window” (on an already cold room in the middle of winter. Cherry on Top: the staff badmouthing you in whispers just for bringing it to their attention. No, I did not ask to speak to the manager, nor did I demand any specific solution. Just asked if they knew what could be wrong. No, not a princess either. I have stayed probably at 100 hostels and this was the worse stench ever.
This hostel property wise has a 10/10 view of split, the hostel itself is fine just because it was just an apartment building, there was very little space to move around. The workers were really bad though, they were all yelling at each other and blasting music all night and were all high on ketamine, so I guess you could say it was quite an experience to say the least.
The hostel was not very clean and the 8 people bedroom was really small, so it got very hot during the night.

En terme d'hygiène sur les commodités il y a encore du travail a faire... Niveau sécurité une des lampes n'a pas l'aire très bien fixé au dessus d'une douche enfin pour ce qui est de dormir et la port principale le soir n'était pas fermé. Il est impossible d'avoir un sommeil un minimum paisible devant des lits superposées qui bougent au moindre...
Although the welcome was warm by a man in his thirties there are several things that are not right in this establishment. in terms of hygiene on the amenities there is still work to be done... security level one of the lamps does not have the area very well fixed over a shower finally when it comes to sleeping and the main port in the evening was not closed. it is impossible to have a peaceful sleep at least in front of the bunk beds that move at the slightest movement.
I booked a private room and the door had a big window in it that you could see people through The listing also stated that there was an elevator however the only entrance was up multiple flights of stairs The shower also had no where to store dry clothes and not enough space to properly dry yourself.
The hostel was not clean. Both showers have black mold growing in them. The floors were swept but they needed more attention. The kitchen smelt bad and was dirty. Among many other things. The beds were old and you can feel the metal railings through the mattress. It felt like their once was a charm to this hostel, but lack of cleaning and the aging facilities made it hard to enjoy our stay. There is only 3 bathrooms and only 2 showers for the entire 20 people in the hostel.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, clean beds, kitchen and toilets. The hostel is located in a perfect position, close by old town, supermarkets and transports. I’ll definitely book it in the future!

Amazing hostel with a perfect location and a beautiful city view. Everything was clean, the kitchen had everything needed to cook, and the social atmosphere made it easy to meet people. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome from day one. I also felt very safe during my stay. Definitely a place I’d recommend, and I’ll happily come back again!
The staff was really nice and the location is top tier! It’s really affordable for Split and we got what we paid for. (The rooms are pretty small, the bunk beds were squeaking and they are only 2 showers for the whole hostel). But overall, we had a nice stay and met great people!!

Lo positivo es que es un Hostel céntrico , por el resto bastante desastre . No es un lugar limpio de suerte limpiaban la cocina , la cocina pequeña con mesa y 4 sillas ,donde se te desaparecen cosas . 3 baños solo 2 duchas . En un 5to piso sin ascensor .
The positive is that it is a central hostel, otherwise quite a mess. it is not a clean place of course they clean the kitchen, the small kitchen with table and 4 chairs, where you disappear things. 3 bathrooms only 2 showers. in a 5th floor without elevator.
Stayed here for 6 nights and we were over the moon with how much this didn’t feel like your normal hostel. It truly felt like a fairytale! So homely, everyone I met and to the lovely welcoming staff working there were all so kind and welcoming. We cooked dinner in the kitchen (which is a bonus for cooking your own meals, also a wholesome way to connect!). The balcony late night chit chats, and living room where you can jam! Thank you fairytale team, real connections and magic! Until next time ...

El hostel esta muy cerca al centro y a la playa , es un último piso por ende tiene una visita muy hermosa de la ciudad. Es un lugar hogareño, limpio y amplio , es genial para conectar con otros viajeros y disfrutar de la estancia en Split.
The hostel is very close to the center and the beach, it is a top floor however it has a very beautiful tour of the city. it is a homely, clean and spacious place, it is great to connect with other travelers and enjoy your stay in Split.
My stay at this hostel exceeded all my expectations. Everything was clean, well-organized, and maintained to a high standard, while the staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, which made the whole experience even better. I’m truly delighted with everything and would gladly stay here again!

This hostel makes you feel at home. It’s clean, in a perfect location, but the real highlight is the staff and the atmosphere. If I return to Split, I will definitely stay there again.
