- This hostel is very central and it is clear that its owner has spent a lot of money to make it as it is, but the receptionists last night were very unprofessional, very rude, and very racist. I reached the hostel on 10/04/2026, at about 11:00pm, after an eight-hour flight. I was really tired. The receptionist was an Indian young lady. I gave her my confirmed booking number; she asked me for an ID, I gave her my university of Edinburgh ID. She did not accept it and asked for an ‘official ID’. I told her that the University of Edinburgh’s ID is an ‘official ID’. She insisted on not accepting my UoE ID, and ignored me completely as if I were not there, and called upon the young lady who was behind me in the queue in order to check her in. I said ‘excuse me, you are not done with me’. she called upon Seth who asked me in a rude manner to show him ‘the passport of the country I came from’, or he would cancel my booking. I replied to him that I came from this country, because I am British. He insisted on seeing my passport. I had to open my backpack and get my passport out, although I was really tired and exhausted. He then put me in a room on the second floor in the other building where there is no lift, I requested a room in a building with a lift because I have a medical condition in my knee, but he refused in a rude manner and said that they are fully booked. I asked them ‘are not you guys afraid that I write what you have just said and done to me in an online review?’ The Indian young lady smiled in contempt, and Seth replied ‘My name is Seth’. This was the most unprofessional, most racist, and rude treatment I have ever had in my long life. That is why I seriously call upon Scottish people and international travelers to boycott this hostel until these two unprofessional receptionists are fired.

+ A localização é boa, próximo da estação de trem e dá pra conhecer bastante coisa andando. A hospedagem também é bem barata, porém ...
- Quarto com pouca ventilação, sem janelas. Pouco espaço entre as beliches e o travesseiro era ruim. Banheiros sujos, algumas duchas eram bem ruins. No prédio em que ficamos não tinha cozinha. Os espaços comuns para comer ou relaxar eram poucos/ pequenos. No quarto tinha uma pessoa extremamente mau cheirosa que contaminou todo o dormitório, tinha um grupo que conversava alto tarde da noite e uma pessoa que fazia vídeo chamada de madrugada. Minha experiência não foi legal.

- Hostel o kadar pis ki inanamazsınız.. çalışanlar temizlik yapmasına rağmen hep pis, hostelde kalan insanlar aşırı pis ve kontrol edemiyorsunuz bunu her şey o kadar pis. Hastalık kaptım zaten, şuan iyileşmeye çalışıyorum. Tuvaletlerde bazı sifonlarda su yok, sifonlar çalışmıyor. Çöp kovası da yok. Zaten olsa onları da leş gibi bırakırlar. İlk gece yorgan ve çarşafım kıl doluydu uyuyamadım, ertesi gün değiştirttim.

- No cleaning, old, and everything in a deplorable state. If a health inspection were to visit, they would see that this is a space unfit to be open to the public. I complained about the lack of cleanliness and they put me in a worse room. I asked to go back to the previous one and they replied that it had already been rented. I had the worst experience of my life. They didn't refund my money. This place is a scam, the photos don't match reality.

- Had to leave early, pubes in bed sheets and stains on wall beside bed

- - The person in the bunk above spilled water (I hope...) on their bed, which soaked through the sheets and turned my lower bunk bed into an indoor shower throughout the night. - Air conditioning was leaking all over the floor. - Far too expensive.

- Los recepcionistas fueron antipáticos. El check-in era estrictamente a las 3 PM, y nadie me informó que podía adelantar el proceso de registro con mis datos. La recepción estaba en un edificio y la habitación en otro, pegada a la estación de tren. La habitación era muy ruidosa, pequeña y sin ventilación. El aire acondicionado no se podía controlar desde la habitación; había que ir a recepción para cualquier ajuste, lo que significaba morir de calor o de frío. Mis compañeros de habitación entraban y salían constantemente durante la madrugada, haciendo el mayor ruido posible, sin el menor respeto por quienes intentábamos dormir. El colchón era incómodo y las almohadas muy finas. Las puertas de las habitaciones hacían mucho ruido al cerrarse y, a menudo, quedaban abiertas. Había pocos baños para la cantidad de habitaciones, eran mixtos y estaban sucios todo el tiempo. Las duchas eran pequeñas e incómodas, y al no tener cortinas, se mojaba todo lo que llevabas para cambiarte.

The place itself was nice but it was the bare minimum. I got put in the property across the road to reception and was disappointed by lack of amenities. There were 2 toilets and 2 showers per floor! They were the size of an airline toilet so no room to move around. Pillows were super thin and the room was hot even after requesting for it to be turned down. Also pretty dusty

- Os quartos eram do outro lado da Rua onde não tínhamos acesso as mesmas coisas que o pessoal do lado da recepção. A continha e muito pequena . As tomadas das camas não eram compatíveis com nosso adaptador da Europa , e as duas tomadas da parede, só uma funcionava. Banheiro ruim para trocar de roupa

+ A localização perfeita, perto de todos os pontos turisticos, da pra fazer tudo andando. Os funcionários muito simpáticos e educados, a limpeza também estava boa.

+ 青旅位置就在車站外面非常方便，工作人員人很好！
- 共用的浴室和廁所各只有兩間，而且裡面的置物空間很小容易弄濕，使用起來蠻不方便的。寄放行李的房間（應該是共用廚房）非常臭，可能是其他旅客煮的食物氣味或其他原因，但通風不好所以味道很重。
