Douches infondées et sales, cuisine encrassée de Très mauvaises odeurs, un amoncellement de nourriture, pas du tout adaptée au nombre de couchages. Chambres bruyantes. Des hommes qui dorment la nuit ou qui boivent et fument dans les parties communes. Très bien situé mais non je ne reviendrai pour rien au monde.

Avoid. Never again.

Very low hygiene

We only stayed at the hostel for one night, but we would never stay there again. The bathrooms are dirty, soap is scattered across the floor, the heaters are rusty, there is mould, and there are not enough showers and toilets. The dormitories are too small and stuffy, the duvets are too thin for winter, the metal beds squeak and are uncomfortable, and there are no wardrobes. The kitchen is too small and dirty. The staff are nice, but it feels more like you're in their home than on their wor...

I checked in a day before and received a code to enter the hostel after hours. The next day, after a highland tour, I returned after midnight, but the code no longer worked. A note on the door said the code had changed, and I couldn’t get in. The emergency number wasn’t answered for 30 minutes. Eventually, a random person in the hostel’s WhatsApp group helped me, but the receptionist on the other end didn’t understand my fear. vraiment pas adéquat, trop de lits dans peu d'espace!

Very dirty!

Had a really bad experience - staying in a dorm with mainly single men, including one drunk 50yo, made me feel really unsafe as a young woman (I was travelling with friends). Horrible smell in the dorm, no big lockers for the bags, the showers and kitchen were cleaned but somehow stayed dirty. However the staff were super nice and the common room as well, but with a huge contrast with the rest of the facilities. Would recommend to pay a few £ more and stay somewhere else for peace of mind.

Pior hostel que já fiquei, limpeza péssima dos quartos, cozinha e banheiros, wi-fi não funcionava nos quartos, única coisa que serve neste hostel é a localização. Não recomendo para ninguém!

This hostel is very dirty. I don’t recommend.

Vi los comentarios y pensé que no era muy bueno, pero tiene súper buena ubicación, el personal amable y nos permitieron dejar nuestro equipaje antes del check in y el check out, la limpieza no es mala y el olor en las habitaciones no era por falta de limpieza, es por los clientes que se hospedan en ella, lo que sí no hay mucha ventilación y las camas son de 3 niveles, súper incómodo subir y bajar es todo un tema

There's insanely few toilets shared by everyone. The beds are very uncomfortable and are shaking with every minor movement, especially when you are on the top one. There isn't much of an atmosphere to speak of, because there are mostly non-vacationers. There are a lot of old (60+!) people so you can barely sleep due to all the snoring. The air in the room was unbearable. Staff was kinda unhelpful. The only positive aspect is that it's very cheap, but I wouldn't recommend staying there.

Es war sehr dreckig und es hat gestunken. Zudem gab es Schimmel

Unfortunately no outlets right by the beds which was a major downside. Also some of the showers would go from hot to cold very quickly but I found one that stayed hot the whole time. Positives included a great location and sweet staff. There were also some kinda odd men hanging around? You get what you pay for ig!

Avoid. Never again.

Lovely staff. People in the building very quiet and respectful. Great place.

Very low hygiene

The staff were nice but people wouldn’t clean up after themselves and the shower pressure was really weak. The guy next to me in the dorm was doing activities that were disgusting. The gap space between bunks is really tiny. I would say on the flip positive side they have free water in a cooler but it isn’t a social hostel at all. Overall was a bit disappointed with the turn out as it is very far from the city (half an hour walk) and people just not cleaning up after themselves at all

Wasn’t horrendous, but, I would be lying if I said it was pleasant. We arrived and were accosted by a tragic lack of shelf space which made it difficult, nay, impossible, to get ready. Having no shelf space, many people were forced to rest their belongings on the sketchy radiators, which was high key a fire hazard.

Everything was perfect. Thank you for all things. Kitchen and bathroom is really clean. And in kitchen, there are many kitchenwares for cooking and serving.

Un super séjour ! Je m’attendais à pas grand chose à cause des commentaires que j’avais lu mais franchement ça mérite bien plus !! Le staff était adorable, l’auberge est mega bien placée, les parties communes et les chambres sont propres et agréables, ils proposent souvent des activités pour créer du lien c’était super :)

You find everything you need and very friendly staff. The only thing that was bothering were other travelers who left a mess in the kitchen and nobody addressing them.

Great location (trains, busses, and trams), only 5 minutes walking distance from the city's West End/Princes Street. Very friendly and helpful staffs always keeping the place nice and clean. I asked for their laundry service which was very helpful (washed, dried, and folded for £8). Some inevitable minor hiccups due to many people's coming and going (i.e. food disappering from the fridge despite putting a label) but very good atmosphere overall.

I returned here because it is always welcoming and relaxing. The position is very good too.

Overall very satisfied would definitely visit again made new friends there it was all new experience for me because I always stayed in either hilton or Premier inn because of staff discount at that time it was full so had to come here it feels like home and also money saver thank you.

Great location right next to Haymarket Station and only 15 min walk to Princes Street. I stayed in a 12-bed dorm, but only half were occupied. The bathroom was poor: only cold water in the sink and broken soap dispensers. Not enough toilets/showers for full capacity. Also, there are no lockers in the room. Some small lockers are at reception, but not nearly enough.
