We had to switch three rooms when arrived. First dorm had a broken sink, which cause the bathroom to overflow. Also had an ants nest and no hot water. Second dorm had mouse feces across the room and a dead cockroach in the shower. Room smelled muffy aswell. Third dorm didn’t not have wifi and hot water at first , but fixed it quickly. We had to ask them to fix things 3 times. We really felt like karens. But as we’re paying a premium for a room. We can atleast expect it to be clean.

I booked a private room at this hostel and, unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. While the bed itself was clean, the room was full of mosquitoes and flies, which made it really hard to relax or get a good night’s sleep. The walls were paper thin—you could hear everything happening outside. One of the more expensive places I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka and it’s not good value at all between noise and flies and zero atmosphere.

Definitely more of a hotel than a hostel. I was the only person in my room what was lovely. No atmosphere but a good nights sleep

Not very social. Could not close the locker. Staff was very helpful with organizing a taxi and other things.

Great place but it isn’t a hostel, it’s a hotel that happens to have dorm rooms. It’s mostly empty and there is no atmosphere. The value for money is terrible considering the price of a dorm room even if they are quite nice. The restaurant on the top floor is really nice but crazy prices. Staff are lovely when you can find them but it often took my a long time to find anyone

Great place to stay if you need some hostel luxury. Definitely the cleanest place I’ve stayed on Sri Lanka. Too expensive for what you get though. The curtain in the shower didn’t cover all the way, so people from outside could see you. Door couldn’t close to the bathroom. Lockers don’t lock.

Es war in Ordnung, der Boden war im ersten Dorm super dreckig. Super unsocial. Ich habe während meines Aufenthaltes niemanden gesehen. Das war etwas komisch, aber der junge Mann an der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit und nett.

Was fine for 1 night - not very social but nice location near town and nice roof top restaurant. Bathroom & doom room was really clean but were quite a lot of ants about.

Overall good stay. Not very social and not really a Hostel vibe, maybe a Little too expensive. But no big complaints about anything

Schoon, nette badkamer, goede bedden, ruime lockers waar je daypack in kan met stopcontact in de locker en een leuke rooftopbar. Receptie is erg behulpzaam. Locatie op 10 min. Lopen vanaf hartje centrum en om de hoek bij café banana chill. Wel meer een hotel vibe ipv hostel. Geen common area om andere reizigers te meeten. ‘s nachts last van blaffende honden, oordoppen meenemen is dus een must.

Wát een lief personeel, mooie hostel kamer en fijn restaurant + eten! Ze hadden een NL playlist aangezet en zijn erg vrolijk in contact. De kamer was schoon, had een fijne douche en lekker bed. Zag er ook echt goed uit! Het personeel doet echt hun best om je een fijn verblijf te geven 😊

Not a social hostel, however very clean and modern rooms. The staff were very helpful, and parking and location was great. The food in the restaurant upstairs was lovely. Juice on arrival was lovely and the staff were very helpful. The only downside is that the hotel was slightly difficult to find the main entrance too.

It’s a nice and super clean hostel. I stayed with my friend in the female dorm, and the privacy was really good. The shower facilities were perfect—I had a great hot shower. It’s definitely a hostel for chill vibes, not for partying. We loved it

One of the cleanest hostels I stayed in, in Sri Lanka. The rooms are setup so the beds are very private, and the bathroom is huge, modern and clean. Not super social, and seems more like it is for remote workers, but the restaurant on the roof has really good and high quality options. The staff helped us plan a scenic route to Nuwara Eliya by rental TukTuk.

Super schönes Hostel, fast schon eher ein Hotel! Haben ein Wilkommensdrink bekommen. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und sehr sauber! Es gibt eine tolles Rooftop Restaurant/Bar mit toller Aussicht. Ich würde aufjedenfall wieder kommen!!

Sehr saubere und moderne Zimmer mit Schliessfächern direkt neben den Betten. Viel eher ein Hotel als ein Hostel, es gibt abgesehen vom Restaurant keinen Gemeinschaftsbereich und daher keinen sozialen Vibe. Ich war alleine im Zimmer. Wenn einem das nicht stört, ist es ein super Ort!

Great stay here. Place was super quiet, as it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the main city centre. Not a lot of atmosphere, but a nice and relaxing place to stay.

I had a great time at this hostel. Room was spacious enough, good shower and comfortable bed. Good restaurant at the top floor. The location is ok, you still need to walk a bit but manageable. I didn’t fell the atmosphere to be so sociable to meet other travelers. Overall I do recommend this place.

We spent one night in Kandy & wanted a nicer place to stay for relaxing & this was the perfect place. It was super clean, staff was so nice & helpful, showers with hot water, & rooms were comfortable. This felt like a luxury hostel!

Absolutely nice location and nice staff. A bit outside but that is also the reason why I chose this place. I wanted a calmer place. That was perfect. It is spotless clean, beds are comfy, modern bathrooms with hot showers and the best thing: The rooftop bar providing food from breakfast til dinner.

If you’re looking for a hotel feel, this is a great place. Loved everything about it. I had no problem getting a cheap tuktuk any time I needed it. Staff was very helpful and gave us lots of tips about the area.
