    There were bedbugs in some of the rooms, and people have already started complaining about it. On top of that, the air conditioning wasn’t working at all. I just found out that in the private rooms the AC actually works, which means they deliberately left it off in the mixed/shared rooms.

    When booking this hostel it advised air conditioning, however on arrival it was working which we weren’t told about. This was during the heat wave as well. Could barely sleep without sweating and being uncomfortable. Ontop of this my bed had bed bugs leaving me with bites all over my body leaving me in pain throughout the rest of my travels. I paid full price for this hostel for not being able to use the facilities advertised to me, no replies to my emails about getting a part refund

    i think i got bedbugs from here, no ac was horrible the rooms was so hot. it wasn’t the cleanest hostel tbh. but amazing location

    This hostel overbooked and kicked me out of the bed I had booked a month prior for a last-minute booking. Despite following all the directions of a very apologetic staff, the system ended my stay, leaving me without bed. Bc I had friends staying there, they let me share a bed for free and said they would give a refund -which I don't have, a week later. If I had no friends with me, I would've had to find a place to stay last minute, without help from the hostel. Also, my friend got bed bugs here.

    The computer overbooked my friend's room and she was given the option of going to another hostel to try and book a room at 11pm, sharing a bed with one of us, or paying for a larger room that she had not originally booked. She ended up staying in my bed and I shared with another. There was a very strange older man in my room. My other friend believed that she got bed bug infection. Staff was very kind and gave us all free drinks at the rooftop bar for our inconvenience. It was fine but not great
