Casa Barcelo Hostel

Muy decepcionante. Nada que ver con las fotos. El precio muy desorbitado para lo que es y el servicio que tiene. Mi cama no tenía lámpara, según ellos se había estropeado el día anterior (carecía de punto de conexión), y dijeron que la arreglarían, pero avisé un par de veces y nada; conseguí una usb que casi no iluminaba. La manta de la camba vieja y usada. El desayuno es de risa, no había pan, solo unos biscotes de pan uno de los días que se acabaron pronto y el segundo ya no hab�...

What a haunting stay. Given the sign indicating that cleaning would be a collective “responsability”, I had low initial hopes for hygiene, which were well met. Our dorm had a lingering smell for the entirety of our stay — perhaps a result of our room not being cleaned (as far as we could see). While the staff themselves were lovely and helpful, the hostel was filthy, the beds provided no privacy, and the air conditioning seemingly didn’t work. Do not stay here.

We really like the place. But we didnt like one of the staffs .The woman with glasses was rude. But the other staff members were very cute.

It's clean, very kind reception and good breakfast but expensive and not very good location

There is no real Kitchen Breakfast is a joke Rooms are too small with no warm blanket Muezzin and Islamic Prayer should be banned at all cost as it Ruins all your stay. It should be Adverted that it is Not allowed. The plus Point of this Hostel is LOCATION and cosy Family atmosphère

The sheets should be in the form of a bag. I wouldn't want to use the blanket that everyone uses without putting it inside the sheet. Rest is good.

Please CHANGE THE MATTRESS it’s absolutely DISGUSTING. I was about to vomit when I took the line and saw how DISGUSTING was the mattress. Full of blood stains can’t believe I slept on it. DISGUSTING, and don’t say that they don’t see because its more than visible when they take the lines. Unfortunately i can’t put the photos and videos on here. It’s so DISGUSTING. Should definitely get my money back for this DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE. If you go to this place CHECK YOUR MATT...

Sorry guys but I would never recommend it. They say they only allow people until 35 yet I stayed in a room with 50+ people. Staff is amazing, very attentive and friendly. But the atmosphere is so anonymous, I wasn’t able to connect with anyone. Laundry service is nice. Sometimes the bath was dirty.

El hostel es muy angosto en general. No hay mucho espacio para moverse, y un par de sofás. Está limpio, pero la ducha con mucho moho en las juntas. Te dan candado para el locker. Cortina de privacidad, que no es frecuente en los hostels. La zona es muy ruidosa. Hay mucho pub y bar alrededor, así q durante los findes se hace difícil dormir si eres de suelo ligero como yo. Para una noche no te morirás, pero te arriesgas a no descansar bien.

Min: We hadden het alleen nodig om te douchen en te slapen, maar de kussen was redelijk niet bestaand en de douches waren vaak vies en verstopt als we savonds terug kwamen. Plus: Personeel was erg gezellig en locatie was top, er was elke dag een prima ontbijtje en er is een schattig buitenplaatsje om te zitten als je daar zin in hebt. Voor de rest een hele rustige hostel, dus geen last van geluid of feesten of zo. Ik zou niet zo snel teruggaan maar voor onze vakantie was het prima.

It is clean, good enough beds with sense of privacy. Breakfast is simple but you can eat as much as you want. The staff is VERY VEEEEERY helpful and kind.

A nice stay but very overpriced when you take into account tourist tax and for the facilities provided. Staff were kind and helpful and rooms/bed and free breakfast all good. However facilities were slightly lacking in the kitchen dept as there was no hob which was a big let down. The hidden costs however made our stay far more expensive than we were accounting for which is a shame so we perhaps may have been better off not going for a hostel as the “cheaper option”.

It’s an OK place. I appreciate the effort for the “breakfast” but honestly apples and oranges, cereal and bread were very underwhelming. My gluten intolerant friend was not satisfied. The place is in good conditions, the staff were nice. Microwave was not clean. I would suggest maybe even one more fruit option and something for people with intolerances, a little protein perhaps? I met some really nice people

Não recomendo, café ☕️ da manhã péssimo, tinha apenas um pão grande no cesto para dividir a vários hóspedes, café frio, não tinha açúcar, nem manteiga, decepção total.

Buen desayuno, todo estaba limpio. Se puede guardar las maletas antes y después del hospedaje

I had an amazing time here! Location couldn't be better, staff is really kind and helpful. There is also breakfast included for free and the gardens are truly appreciated. Hope to come back one day!

I had to wait for 40min outside in the middle of the night because the person in charge of the night shift did not open. When you come back late it is not safe because you cannot stay out for long. Except that, they stay was good.

Atención y onda muy amable y buena de la gente trabajando en el hostal. Mil gracias a Fabrizia por la ayuda navegar mi llegada a Barcelona :) Mucha privacidad en baños y duchas y horas extendidas del desayuno, lo cual es incluido. Gracias!

Me gustó, queda cerca a todo en general o si no puedes tomar transporte también, habitación bien personal bien. Es sobre todo para ir a dormir no mas

Great location and friendly staff. Clean facilities and comfortable bed, but very basic accommodations overall; I think this is fairly common for older cities though.
