Sparks Hostel

My bed was dirty it had sand in it even. Just as I was unfolding the duvet, a cloud of dust flew off. Also no soap or shampoo was available to shower. Other guests in the room were not very friendly either

I pay 4€ and the guy don’t let me enter

Not much space. No different storage sections. Not very save. Were not allowed to drink our water in the room, according to house rules. Elevator wasn't working.

It was very noisy in the dormitor with a group of women which kept talking and preparing for sleep for 1 hour. They had so much luggage that the room was sprt of blocked.

huge problems with mosquitos in the bed room

Es war sehr schmutzig. Gibt nur kaltes wasser. Das Zimmer war sehr eng und klein. Die Lage war laut. Hostel direkt an der Hauptstrasse. Würde nicht nochmals gehen.

Well located near Rotterdam Centraal and city centre.Cosy, sociable atmosphere.Room was spacious, clean and well sound proofed.Pleasant staff.One downside: an odour in room suggested a plumbing issue.However, it could removed by opening window for a period.A pleasant stay.

Best bunk beds in Europe. I stayed there for 2 days.

Nice central location in the city, easy check in and out process, comfortable beds with decent privacy for a dorm, and good size lockers. I appreciated being able to store my stuff in the lobby area before and after check in/out too.

Hostel was very clean, quiet and private. I would definitely recommend

Kitchen was great, beds were nice, i wish they all had curtains but still enough privacy. overall a very great hostel

I’m truly grateful for the reception staff — they were incredibly kind and helpful. I lost my beanie this morning, and even after I had already checked out, they were willing to review the security footage for me and even allowed me to return to my room to search for it again. In the end, I managed to find it, which was such a relief in this kind of weather. Moreover, there is free WiFi, and they also provide towels for showering. Definitely recommended!

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Excellent positionnement géographique à 5 min de la gare, très propre et moderne ! clé digitale sur téléphone c'est cool ça, pas moyen de la perdre Le seul bémol que je tiens à souligner, c'est le petit dej qui peut etre améliorer selon moi, pour environs 7€ on a un sac en carton, avec une pomme, yaourt granola, morceau de pain, deux tranches de fromage, un jus d'orange industriel, café et chocolat à volonté à la machine et c'est tout. je favoris...

I LOVED my stay here. Just a few steps away from Rotterdam Centraal, it made getting around the Netherlands or even international day trips very easy. The staff are lovely, the room had one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in, privacy was perfect… most importantly for me, the bathroom was massive and very clean. I originally had to get a booking for a mixed dorm due to availability but they moved me to a female only one beforehand without me even needing to ask. Wonderful hostel. 10/10

I really enjoyed my stay at Sparks. It is clean, comfortable, and the vibe is warm and a good mix of different people/genders. I also loved the kitchen, which is quite big and well maintained. The lockers fit two cabin bags easily. The location near the station was also perfect. One recommendation: add curtains to all beds! When I moved to a bed with a curtain on my last night (only one in the room), it really made a difference in having privacy while I sleep.

El mejor hostal en el que me he quedado, limpias y cómodas habitaciones, muy privadas, te dan tu toalla y regalan café, tiene aire acondicionado y está súper céntrico

Très bien, peut être trop calme parfois, mais bon pour être honnête c'était impeccable.

The bed was in front of the door of the room, I couldn’t sleep well because also there is no curtain for bed ! However it was clean and the staff are kind
