Ostello Umile

Om in het hostel te komen moest je aanbellen bij een appartement, om dan in het donker naar het hostel te lopen op de derde verdieping. Nergens stond iets van een aanwijzing dat er een hostel was, dus ik vertrouwde het niet en ben in een ander hostel gaan slapen. Ik weet dus niet eens of er een hostel was, omdat er vanaf de straat geen enkele aanwijzing was dat het hostel überhaupt bestond.

The hostel is amazing. It is quite small but super clean, nice staff and an amazing rooftop. It is really close to the city center. We can really recommend it :)

It was my first experience sleeping in Hostel, and it was great. Good bathroom, fresh towels, nice bed with a little lamp desk. The staff was helpful to say at least. I recomend.

I was there for only two nights, but will definitely be back again!! I loved the atmosphere so much and had a blast cooking food and eating out on the patio!

Juan is one the most amazing hosts I've gotten the chance to stay with. Loved jamming out some tunes with you in the evening and all the suggestions you had for Bologna too! Will definitely be back if I'm ever in Bologna again!

You could not ask for a better host or hostel!! Unluckily I was there with people who snored and also some train delays due to protests, but meeting Juan Pablo alone was worth the trip!!! 1000000 stars

By far one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! Intimate, friendly and feels like home! Would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking to go to Bologna as its location is also perfect! Shoutout to Juan Pablo for being an amazing host and friend ❤️

Martina was very kind, letting me into the room and giving recommendations. Juan Pablo was the best host possible, he is a great man. Was the most comfortable hostel I have ever stayed in, great atmosphere, clean and comfortable.

Perfect location—short walk to both bus and train stations, the main piazza, and all the key attractions. Juan Pablo was amazing—super friendly, chatty, and made me feel really welcome. The room was spacious with aircon (a huge plus in summer), and beds had plugs, USB ports, and individual lights. Not the sturdiest bunks, but mattresses were comfy. Bathrooms were clean and I never had to wait. Loved the big terrace for my morning coffees! Bonus points for the building having a lift

Juan pablo numero uno! an amazing stay. the hostel itself very nice good facilities comfy beds bathrooms clean etc. but what really made it lovely was the man running it all! so friendly, talented, good advice and high spirits. as well as a beautiful singing voice. big recommend, might be the best hostel i have stayed in in europe so far

best & smallest hostel where I've ever been. Juan is an amazing host, dorm is spacious & overall quiet what I really enjoyed. Kitchen is well equipped & free coffee/tea and terrace is the place to be. Everything was clean. Will be back 🙏🏼.

Very friendly people and great location near everything in walking distance. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here.

From the moment I arrived, Juan welcomed me like family and made me feel at home. Everything you could need is right here and I had an amazing time. We jammed in the kitchen and on the terrace (Juan is a true musician), watched movies, shared life stories and became true friends. I even found love. I will definitely be back.
