Hate that place

One of the worst experiences I've had, the hostel man was not pleasant, there was a strong smell of cigarettes as soon as I entered. The worst thing was that I found a cockroach next to the "bed" mattress on the floor, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, the sheets had a terrible stench, when I took a shower the curtain fell on my head. The hostel is poorly served, the trains are rare. I didn't sleep all night, I took the first train at 5am for a flight at 10am :) TO BE AVOIDED

• The WiFi doesn’t work, so staying connected is impossible. • Showers are closed from 10 AM to 1 PM daily for excessive “bleaching” instead of proper cleaning. • The staff are lazy, uninterested, and only there for free accommodation. • The beds are filthy, reeking, and covered in dirt and debris. • Signs about fines are everywhere, ready to charge guests for minor infractions. Staff aggressively push guests out right at checkout time

So bad. Room was falling apart and they patched it up using printed pictures all stitched together. We booked a private room and the beds were so bad I think we would’ve been better off sleeping on the floor. Staff is unreachable, honestly the worst hostel I’ve stayed at so far. They have signs up saying they charge for any damage when the rooms are already damaged lmfao. Worst stay I’ve been at and highly recommend you avoid it.

I’ve stayed in many hostels the last 14 years. This one was the most run down, filthy and felt non maintained (in my opinion). Hard to reach the staff telephone, email and messenger. The sinks were backed up, shower smelled fowl and the price I actually paid was more than advertised online. It’s still affordable because it’s a hostel be was double what was advertised online. Plus had to pay extra for a late check in even though nobody was there to welcome me or show me around. Not recommen...

Reception area, common area, and room were a mess. It smelt terrible in the room. I could not really sleep. It is overpriced as well for such a bad treatment of guests.

It is kind of crazy to say that paying 40$ a night for a place is over paying but here it indeed is. The only positive of the place was the staff is friendly, guys at the front desk were very polite. The place itself smells, I mean bad. Like a moldy musty smell and it was in the rooms, common areas. Rooms themselves were very cramped and small and again smelled awful. Shower situation is strange only have a few for males. Kitchen area was fine and had what you needed if you planned to cook.

Honestly only stayed here one night and super glad about it.. wasn’t the cleanest or nice hostel I’ve been to nor was it social

The check in service wasn’t very practical. We arrived at 1pm with our bags but were told we couldn’t check in until 6pm. So we left our bags to go explore. Our dinner was interrupted as we only had 6-9pm to check in or pay more. The staff were kind of a bit random and not overly friendly. Beds were comfy but the overall atmosphere was a bit off.

We really enjoyed our stay! Dorms and bathrooms are cleaned daily, so it feels really clean. Staff was nice and helpful and check-in was easy. Had everything you need. They even provided hair straightener and curling irons, which was awesome!

Great location, 3 minutes from the Toradacho station. Namba and Dotonbori are within walking distance if you like to walk. The hostel is very clean and safe

Staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a nice lounge, kitchen facilities and laundry services. The things that let this place down are that the coverings on the quilts aren't cleaned just sprayed between people, only one sheet is provided. And the security lockers you aren't able to change the codes on so staff also have the codes for the lockers too and anyone who has previously stayed there if returning could gain access to the locker. Just don't leave important stuff in the locker.

It was fine. The rooms were small and with limited place for luggage, so the floor space gets used quickly making it feel cramped. Also the room didn’t have a window, making it feel even tighter. Social area was pretty much empty the entire time. Staff is super nice and facilities work great!

It's OK. Shame it doesn't have USB charging points anywhere though. And disappointing on the mix up on my stay, had to book another hostel very last minute 6pm, due to misunderstanding.

This place is truly amazing. They are very helpful. While I was there, they had a takoyaki party and I met wonderful people. If you ever go to Osaka, you should definitely stay here.

Fabulous hostel. Comfiest beds and facilities are amazing. Only let down is the showers are on a different level to my room and not being able to shower at any time of the day aswell.

You made fall in love with the hostel, my soul is still there and I can’t get over everything happened❤️❤️ I already miss you, Kaden, William, Madoka, Honoka, Hunter, Seth You made my trip in Osaka and staying the hostel so amazing ❤️

Very good facilities and very cozy environment. Just a bit far from the center and quite expensive, maybe because it was weekend

Nest guesthouse is a great stay. Rooms are really clean and the staff are very welcoming. The whole place is cleaned everyday and there wasn’t ever any problems. Good location and definitely worth a stay.

toilets smelt horrible, far away from everything. our room had a weird smell of old socks and mold

I decided to extend my stay because it wasn’t enough. Osaka has so much to offer and also the hostel is very comfortable , the staff is nice and they even have bikes for rent at a really affordable price. I love the area were it is located

This is a great hostel very close to Tennoji (or Teradacho). Clean, with nice common area and well stocked kitchen (coffee :), a sufficient number of showers and amazing staff. You can leave your bags here as well, which is very helpful if you arrive early etc.

I love this place. The location is 5 mins from the subway, the area is very local and nice and the guest house it self is very nice! The beds are very comfy , the kitchen is well equipped and the showers are also always so clean and nice . I would totally stay here again. In my stay there was a takoyaki party and the food was so good !
