The staff was really unfriendly and unwilling to help, even though it was emphasized that "we help you with everything". :( it seemed that the guests were seen as a nuisance.

Over priced and not central

I had requested a female only dorm, and then when I arrived and went up to my room, I found that I had been placed in a room with a male. I went down to the lobby, and explained thinking it must have been a mistake and the front desk people told me that they don’t do female only dorms. Since that’s what my booking was for, I should’ve been told that in advance because I would’ve booked with another hostel and at the very least, should’ve been told when I checked in instead of ignoring ...

HORRIBLE!!! 10/10 do not stay here

Stayed in 20-bed dorm, the bed and bedding were comfortable, toilets I used were clean. About 20 mins walk to city centre. However anyone can walk into the dorm room/hostel and the kitchen was very dirty and no bowls or spoons available to use. There were about 3 mugs to share between an entire hostel. When I asked reception if they had any bowls to eat with, a staff member claimed that a group of people had taken all the bowls and spoons to their dorm rooms and that the cleaner would “sort i...

Ostello pessimo per il rapporto qualità/ prezzo . Camere e bagni sporchissimi Letti senza nemmeno la possibilità di avere una presa per il caricatore (sempre calcolando il prezzo che uno va a pagare ) capisco che debba essere rapportato ai prezzi islandesi, ma non giustifica la mancanza di pulizia e organizzazione nelle camere.Letti scomodi e per salire il primo scalino e a 50cm da terra cioè che il primo piede lo devo mettere sopra il letto di sotto. Don’t ! Kitchen: super dirty. Not only because people leave a lot of stuff without cleaning it. There isr very old dirt in all the spaces. Dorm: only one window that could be opened. Very bad air all the time. Not enough locker. Very loud, especially on weekends.

Absolutely filthy. Looked like it had never been cleaned. The floor under and around my bed looked like it had never been cleaned, the showers were unhygienic and the kitchen was a health hazard. There was no security, you could walk straight into the dorm I was staying in with no keycard etc and I actually spoke to some people who had managed to walk all the way into the room and they had never even booked at the hostel yet.

Well, it's not a great hostel. But I'm grateful that I stayed there one night, because of the series of events that followed me wouldn't have happened if I didn't endure this place. So I won't tell you not to stay there, maybe you should?

Nice collection of private bathrooms and comfy beds. Limited reception hours, and 15min walk from where the airport bus drops you off. No food or coffee available nearby. As I had a late flight arrival and a 9am tour start, I did not see any staff or have any opportunity to rent a towel.

Molto bene, il personale mi ha aiutato molto ed Ernesto,mi ha programmato le mie visite, è pulito una cucina ben servita con due piani cottura, bagni spaziosi posso dire solo che sono rimasto molto soddisfatto, ringrazio la ragazza della Galizia gentile a spiegarmi il daffarsi. Grazie mille di tutto.

There is very little privacy in the rooms, specifically the 8 bunk room. There are lockers inside the rooms to keep your things. The kitchen is small but functional and has the basics.

Only stayed one night and have no other hostels to compare it to (this was my first one) — however, it was a great introduction! The staff (Saba) were super accommodating, the facilities were clean, and it had a generally safe atmosphere. My only negatives stem from the location being a tad far from the city centre (15min walk) and the laundry equipment being difficult to use (needed staff on several occasions). Otherwise, all good!

I needed a place to spend the night and rest since my flight arrived around 1 a.m. They had to have 24-hour check-in, and this was definitely the best option. I was able to check in using the code they sent to my email, store my things, and rest. The bathroom was very clean and tidy, everything was well marked, and it was impossible to get lost in the building if you read all the instructions in the email.I highly recommend it and would go back if necessary.

Ostello veramente bello, pulito e confortevole. Personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi dubbio o necessità! A 20 minuti a piedi dal centro città, in zona tranquilla e poco rumorosa, ci tornerei subito!

Great staff, if you want something more central it seems kex hostel is good but the buses available are great and it seems quite a safe spot, no complaints

I stayed here the weekend I ran the Reykjavik Half Marathon, and it was perfect. It's far enough from the city that it's nice and quiet but still close enough that I could walk everywhere I needed to. The facilities were super clean + I had a great experience.

This hostel was okay, definitely nothing special especially for the price. But I think there aren't many better deals in iceland. It was definitely clean and it felt quite safe, though it had a little bit of a weird vibe imo

This hostel is ok. Reception needs to give more details on checkin (reception opening hours)thought. With an early checkout, it could be very inconvenient for hosts who don't have access to stowage lockers on case of an early transfer. Reception is closed from 8pm til 9am. The guy at reception didn't anticipate any of those topics. Even if we are quite autonomous in the hostel, more details wouldn't be unecessary. Thanks

No access to the coffeemaschine off desksetvices. What about security in case of voilence in the same period? Apreciate the new facilities. Kitchen not used but seems to be new as well. Very nice! Good idea with the code system and selfcheckin

Loved the place. The staff was particularly helpful. Even the guests were nice.

really nice place to stay on a stopover for a few days. bathrooms were really clean. bit far from city proper but only a 25 minute walk or a shorter scooter ride. I was able to easily book a tour and they let me store my luggage early!

nice facilities, bathrooms are private but are a bit dirty sometimes. not wonderful location to walk to things but good for tours and such

Nice place, staff is really nice and helpful too. Only spent one night but if my plans had been different I would absolutely have stayed longer. Definitely recommend!
