Location is pretty good, super close to promenade and sunset beach. Bus is close by that goes to old town. This is a good spot for older travelers who want a quiet spot to stay. Not a party hostel at all.
It was a Nnice experience
Too expensive for what it offers. One of the hosts was very thoughtful and willing to help which improved the experience, but the property felt very amateurly managed and also did not accept card payment.
It was decent but wouldn’t stay here again. Stayed in a 4 bed room with ensuite. Showers and toilet were good. Aircon was good. But up the hill away from old town and the action. Have stayed in much nicer places. Nothing wrong with it but would stay closer and a more newer place next time.
cool location, friendly local family runs the place. had good ac.
A long way from the old town if that’s where you want to be. Bus to get there. There is a nice beach and Esplanade nearby. For what it is I would reconsider staying.
Super small hostel just outside of town. Super easy to walk to shops, about a 15 min bus into old town. The family that run the hostel are super lovely and very helpful, their dog is super cute. There are only 3 rooms so could not be the most social at times depending on other guests. Would definitely stay again though!
Probably one of the most unique hostels I've stayed in. It doesn't give a hostel vibe when you're staying here, it feels like you're at home and the staff - Ive and Milka - treat you like family. Both have been so amazing towards the guests, they were helpful with any questions you have about staying in Croatia, places to visit and any recommendations that you may like. I had no issues with my private room - the bed is comfortable and great location getting to Old Town. Would 100% return!
Maybe the most unique hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Very laid back and relaxed and almost like an inn or airbnb. Lovely greeting when I arrived from the owner. I had a private room so I didn’t see that many others during my short stay, but I was busy touring around so didn’t bother me.
Cool and helpful staff. The facilities are good, but the hostel doesn't organise events anymore. The atmosphere will depend on guests u find there.

The hostel is run by an unbelievably hospitable family. They provided all the info we needed to make the most out of our time in Dubrovnik and made us feel right at home in the hostel. Google does not show a bus route to old town (at least not for me) but the hostel is close to a city bus stop that'll take you right into old town in about 10-15min and the bus is included in the Dubrovnik city pass. the area was also close to some nice restaurants, cocktail bars and beaches.
best Host ever! So helpful and nice to interact with. They showed my cousin and I were to go in the city. would recommend to anyone.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. I really enjoyed talking with the owner about his life during and after the war.
Lovely accommodation equipped with everything you could wish for. Bus stop and beach nearby. The old town is an hour's walk away. Clean and super friendly. We ate homemade pizza.
had a lovely stay here. lovely people made me feel right at home. not sleeping in a bunk bed was really great! close to the bus stop so getting to old town was easy. it was nice and quiet at night. not super social as there are only 3 rooms but i was fine with that. would definitely recommend and would stay here again!!
The hostel was lovely and honey, close to buses and nice beaches. Also reachable by car/transfer so you don't need to haul your bag up stairs. The owner let us store luggage for free before and after check in It's not very big so nice and homey. There is also some beach equipment that you can use for free

Amazing location away from the crowd but walking distance to different beaches, lot of good coffee bars, restaurants, ATMs and groceries stores. Property was in good shape and I felt very safe. Owners were very kind and helpful, Ive and Milka are amazing host that want the travelers to have a great experience. They give recommendations about places, local events etc. Super friendly Everything looked clean and met so many nice people, also quite on sleeping hours. Thank You
Thank you DBC Family Team including dog and cats of course! It was really pleasure to stay with you! And what a great bunch of people happened to choose the same place 😃 We had a good time!
The hosts were so friendly and welcoming! My favorite part about this hostel was the location. It’s a 20 min bus ride to the old town, and walking distance to the Sunset Beach region, which had more secluded beaches, lots of coves to sit on the rocks and go in the sea, sunset views, and amazing restaurants that overlook the water/sunset. I met a couple people in my room but otherwise not super social when I was there. Bathrooms are clean & thankfully no bunk beds.

At Dubrovnik Backpackers Club you immediately feel like home. It’s a small hostel where you easily get in touch with others. It’s like living with friends. Also the owners are just so lovely and they will come along now and then. You can also just take the bus to get into old town. Beach and supermarkets are close.

Great hostel! Owned by two wonderful locals who are very dedicated to making sure you have a great time in Dubrovnik. My bus was 7 hours late so I arrived after midnight, but the owner stayed up to make sure I would get there safe. He checked me in & stayed up a bit to chat & even made us some popcorn. There is a bus stop that heads into town a short walk away. The hostel itself is very clean & quiet, beds are singles (NO bunk beds :) ), & lots of free amenities like towels, snorkel gear, etc. H...

Good spot, outside the city center but an easy 10 min bus ride to old town. There are many good restaurants nearby, and it's easy to get to the other side of DBK.
Everything was really lovely. It is like twenty-ish minutes away from Old Town, but the hosts gave very helpful directions on how to get there. The kitchen is very well-stocked and anything you could need, they have. Overall, really great. Best hostel of my trip in Croatia.
Stayed here with my sister and we felt super safe and comfortable. The place was very clean, cozy, and felt more like an Airbnb than a hostel. Everyone was super friendly, and they even had snacks, water, and lemonade available. We had a small payment issue, but the staff was very helpful and kind. Highly recommended, we’d definitely stay here again!
Had a great time even with a broken foot. Owners were so friendly and such a big help. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting.
Very chill and clean hostel with the loveliest hosts and fellow guests. It’s a short walk to the beach, near many restaurants, bakeries, and a laundromat (must for travelers) and close to the 6 bus line which is about an 8-10 minute ride to Old Town as well as the 7 bus line to Gruz. Our hosts gave us a map of the city with great recommendations for things to do and info on how to get the Dubrovnik Pass to see attractions and take the local bus lines. I would absolutely stay here again.
