Wij kwamen binnen de afgesproken checkin uren aan bij het hostel, en schrokken van wat wij aantroffen. Ten eerste was er niemand aanwezig en kregen wij via de mail instructies met de toegang tot het hostel. Dit lijkt in geen enkel opzicht op hoe het op de foto’s wordt geadverteerd, en alles is oud en vies en het is gewoon een grote troep. Wij hebben binnen gekeken en voelden ons zo oncomfortabel dat we meteen weer zijn vertrokken. Het zou eigenlijk niet geadverteerd mogen worden op hostelworld...
We arrived at the hostel within the agreed check-in hours, and were shocked by what we found. firstly there was no one present and we get e-mail instructions with the entrance to the hostel. it does not look in any way like how it is advertised on the photos, and everything is old and dirty and it is just a big crowd. we looked inside and felt so uncomfortable that we left immediately. it really should not be advertised on hostelworld.
this place is a joke. been using hostels for the last 20 years and this is s***staff don't communicate, not even a good morning. they are either blasting music, smoking outside or both. the shower head hook is broken, it costs like 2 bucks to get it fixed, but nooo we have to shower with one hand because we gotta hold it with the other. the doors are so misaligned it is impossivel opening them without waking up everybody in the room. Also, I was charged for a non-existente breakfast.
Möglichenfalls lag es daran, dass ich im Januar im Hostel war, aber es war nicht sauber. Mülleimer waren randvoll u Müll stand daneben. Das Bad schien auch schon seit längerem nicht mehr gesäubert worden zu sein In Zeiten, in denen mehr Menschen in dem Hostel sind, mag die Atmosphäre natürlich eine andere sein. Meine Angabe zum Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist meinem Empfinden für die Sauberkeit geschuldet. Ich wünsche dennoch, dass viele Menschen einkehren!
If possible it was because I was in the hostel in January, but it was not clean. The bathrooms were full of rubbish and the garbage was next to it. The bathroom also seemed to have not been cleaned for a long time. In times when more people are in the hostel, the atmosphere may of course be different. My statement about the price-performance ratio is due to my sense of cleanliness. I still wish that more people move in!
I difetti principali sono: - la pulizia dell'ambiente esterno, che era sporco e in disordine - gli orari di apertura del bar, che la mattina apre tardi ed è difficile usufruirne se ci si sveglia presto.

Sono arrivata nel primo pomeriggio e la reception era chiusa, ho dovuto aspettare le 15:00 per vedere qualcuno. Il dormitorio alla quale sono stata assegnata faceva schifo! Le prese erano distanti dai letti, quindi mettere il telefono a caricare era impossibile e gli armadietti per riporre i propri effetti personali sono fuori dalla stanza e non si chiudono. Quando sono tornata qualcuno ha occupato mio letto e gli altri erano occupati oppure erano stati usati. I bagni e la struttura sono sporch...
I arrived in the early afternoon and the reception was closed, I had to wait until 3pm to see someone. The dorm room I was assigned to looked like crap! The presses were far from the beds, so putting the phone on charging was impossible and the lockers for storing personal belongings are outside the room and they don't close. When I came back someone had taken my bed and the others were either occupied or had been used. The bathrooms and the structure are filthy
The hostel is quite a way from Lucca as well as from the trainstation of the village it is located in but the place is quite nice with a huge garden. Sadly the breakfast mentioned in the description wasn`t included and there was no chance of getting breakfast in the hostel. Also the restaurant was only opened on the first of my three evenings. During my whole stay of three nights I just saw the staff on the first day at check in and also I am not sure if anyone cleaned the facilities inbetween t...
Le personnel est sympa et arrangeant. Par contre propreté et état a refaire : c'est sale et eu coup personne ne prend soin (salle commune et salle de bains) traces collantes au sol... Et le lit : j'ai eu l'impression de dormir dans un des lits de camps de ma jeunesse... Un doute aussi sur la propreté de draps. Une boulangerie à côté pour le petit déjeuner
The staff is friendly and organized. Conversely cleanliness and état à refaire : it's sale and eu coup nobody takes care (common room and bathroom) traces of tights on the floor... And the bed: I had the impression of sleeping in one of the camp beds of my youth... A doubt also about the cleanliness of sheets. A bakery next door for breakfast
staff was okay. they were having a party at the property with locals and seemed really annoyed that we were even there. felt very unsafe as female travellers. bathroom rooms were dirty. no lockers for stuff.
Als erstens es ist keine Jugendherberge. Klientel und Atmosphäre nicht für Minderjährige oder Jugendhilfe geeignet. Kein Frühstück wie besprochen, das Essen hat gut geschmeckt, aber etwas zu teuer. Schön war, dass wir Wasser unbegrenzt haben konnten. Bäder sind in schlechtem Zustand und zwischen durch nicht geputzt.
It’s an alright place to stay just for a few nights. It’s not really the cleanest. Bathrooms were quite dirty even in the mornings. They are a bus ride away from Lucca which I knew about and isn’t too hard but definitely don’t try go into town on Sundays as buses are few and far between. The doors to the rooms don’t actually lock either.

This place has a cool atmosphere and is pretty uniquely decorated, also not too big. The staff was super friendly and the outdoor terrace was a nice place to hangout. The food and drinks were fairly priced and also good. Everything was clean. My main critique is the kitchen: there is a small fridge which is pretty dirty (the guest‘s fault i guess), an electric kettle and a microwave - but no pots and pans or place to cook, as it said in the app - also no cutlery. You can get into town very wel...
The guys that own the place are really nice guys who are always welcome to have a chat with you or share a drink. It’s a very laid back cozy hostel. Yes it’s a bit far from the walled city but there’s a bus stop right next to the hostel. Just be aware they stop running in the evening around 8 so if you go out for dinner you might get stuck walking back to the hostel like I did

Friendly and welcoming hostel. Marco is a really nice host. Would have been happy to stay longer. Just over an hours walk into Lucca if no bus available, otherwise a bus stop 50m from the hostel

Un ambiente rilassato, accogliente e spazioso...personale sempre gentile e disponibile, stanze ampie, ottimo wifi e ambienti in cui usare il pc.

Personale molto simpatico ed amichevole. Manca la manutenzione in un bagno che scarica male. Però nel complesso bella struttura in cui ho passato una bella notte e ho dormito bene.
The staff is very friendly and friendly, there is no maintenance in the bathroom which drains badly, but overall a nice facility where I had a nice night and slept well.
Hour and a half walk from the walls of inside Lucca but buss stop is near so not bad when using the bus. Don’t travel on a Sunday as the busses are few and far between and Ubers/taxis aren’t running. The bathrooms clearly aren’t cleaned but the dorms are alright. I got to the hostel at 4 and had to wait until 6pm for the receptionist to come since they had closed between 3 and 6 without notice and had not emailed me to let me know. There’s a bar and small kitchen downstairs that makes go...
Fin du Check in à 15h mais accès au logement grâce à un code. Je n’avais pas de linge pour dormir j’ai dû me servir dans une commode où jai pu récupérer un drap mais pas de couverture (il faisait froid). Les salles de bains n’étaient pas très propres. Je n’ai vu personne pour le check out non plus. Ça dépanne mais c’est pas terrible.
I had no bed linen I had to serve myself in a dresser where I could pick up a sheet but no blanket (it was cold). the bathrooms were not very clean. i didn't see anyone to check out either. it's easy but not terrible.
This place is all about the vibes, man. There was a live music gig when we arrived, and the place was packed. One of the owners found a minute to check us in and pointed us to our room, and that was basically it. No security to speak of (the main building entrance is accessed with a door code, that's it). There were lockers available to use as well, to be fair. But it seems like a pretty safe environment because it's out in the suburbs and everyone is chill af.

locaux pas forcément en bon état, la propreté peut laisser a désirer ( beaucoup a cause des autres "hôtes") mais par contre accueil très agréable, il y a un petit resto dans l auberge et c était un très bon rapport qualité-prix ( j étais le seul a manger 🙄). je n ai Pas eu d eau chaude le 1er soir. Un retour a ce qu était l'auberge de jeunesse un peu....
The premises are not necessarily in good condition, the cleanliness can leave something to be desired (many because of the other "hosts") but on the other hand very nice welcome, there is a small restaurant in the hostel and c was a very good value for money (I was the only one eating 🙄). i n had No hot water on the 1st night.
The location is not that close to the train station, however there are busses very often heading to the hostel area. The hostel is welcoming, large premises and rooms, amazing front yard with garden, modern style and friendly staff. The compound is safe, CCTV operating for safety purposes, affordable rates, clean areas, funny activities during the weekend. Interesting 3 storey structure, large bathrooms, common area with books and games, TV, microwave and kettle. Restaurant available. 👍🏻 G...
Ottimo ostello, silenzioso, spazioso, pulito...una bella atmosfera. Wifi veloce e gente super piacevole!

Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider war das Restaurant geschlossen. Das Auto konnte ich vor dem Haus parkieren, war super so!
I felt very comfortable, unfortunately the restaurant was closed, I was able to park the car in front of the house, it was great!
Ansich hatten wir einen Guten Aufenthalt. Es war relativ sauber und wir konnten sogar einen frühen Check-in machen. Leider gab es keine Küche und nur zwei Mini Kühlschränke, außerdem hat die Klimaanlage in unserem Zimmer nicht funktioniert, weshalb es nachts ziemlich warm wurde. Vom Bahnhof haben wir eine halbe Stunde zu Fuß bis zum Hostel gebraucht. Trotz alledem haben wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt:)
We also had a Good stay. it was relatively clean and we even managed to check in early. unfortunately there was no kitchen and only two Mini Refrigerators, and besides the air conditioning in our room didn't work, so it got quite hot at night. from the train station we took half an hour to walk to the hostel. despite that we felt very comfortable there:)
Personal inmejorable. muy amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y a facilitar la estancia.Muybienambiente. Mejorable la limpieza. Los horarios de autobuses hacia Lucca hacen difícil los planes por la tarde en la ciudad, máxime en fines de semana.
The staff is unbeatable. very friendly, always willing to help and facilitate the stay. very nice environment. improved cleaning. the bus schedules to lucca make it difficult to fly in the afternoon in the city, especially on weekends.
