Zostel Rishikesh (Laxman Jhula)

It was a dorm but there was no curtains provided it was all open. Also the infrastructure of the space is old

It feels a bit neglected. WiFi did not work on my floor. I had a private room. It was expensive for what it was. Service was very slow but this may have been because it was Diwali. Overall disappointing

My bed faced a big light that was kept on during the whole night and made sleeping difficult. Staff was not supportive of it. I recieved a message after booking DEMANDING to pay in advance in less than 12h through a platform that does not accept international cards. Pretty difficult for foreigners. I didnt recieve payment confirmation despite demanding in 2 occasions

Great stay & would recommend for solo travellers going to Rishikesh for a few days . Location is good, walkable distance from main attractions & nice cafes around. Shoutout to Aayush who was super kind and helpful at all times.

The owner was very nice. The place was not very clean and had bad smell. It was nice location though and nice view.

Just a nice hostel. Didn’t feel very personal or social, however the rooftop is great.

Very friendly atmosphere, and very good facilities. The staff were very approachable and friendly, we found it fun to hang out with them. Some of us felt the rooms could be cleaner, such as some stains in the floor tiles. Besides that, no issues with rooms.

Amazing hostel with good food options and not to forget about the cozy common room to hangout. Splendid views from the terrace!! Helpful staff and events make it more lively.

Excellent property, great activities

I reall liked the stay at Zostel the workers where friendly, Aayush was always helping me and Karam brought me always to places I wanted to visit. In the evenings there where always activities and you can also ask them for any activities you want to do. The air conditioner was the only think which made my stay a bit bad sometimes, was the whole time sick because the roommates put the air on 17 degrees sometimes, I was really cold. But that was not the fault of the hostel, just to let you know.

this side of the Ganges is the one you want to be on. Tapovan is just as noisy as the rest of India. On the Zostel laxman Jhula side you get peace because the bridge is closed. it makes a huge difference. so many good places to eat. Zostel was good. safe. pretty clean and nice people run it. it's a little Oasis in that area, not to be missed. take a few days out of the madness here. you can walk to the Ganges in 2 minutes
