Hostel Swastik

Was not happy with my stay here. My bed was dirty and had hair on it. The floors were gross too. We originally booked a 4 bed dorm but got put in a 6 bed and when we tried to explain this is not what we booked, the owner did not seem bothered. The room itself was extremely hot with only a small fan; the ladder up to my bed was too close to the wall so it was a struggle. We also gave our laundry in and almost lost half of it because they left it on the roof. Worst hostel I have been in!

Very helpful owner and friendly woman who worked there. However the walls were paper-thin and we didn't sleep until 3am when everyone downstairs had gone to sleep.

Schönes, einfaches und ruhiges Hostel. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und ich hab mich wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist top. :)

Stayed here twice and it felt like a second home!! Staff are so friendly and helpful, there’s always a really inclusive social atmosphere and made lots of great friends here. One of my favourite hostels in Nepal!!

Très bien placé à l’entrée du centre ville, calme et surtout avec un propriétaire adorable et chaleureux. Nous avons passé un Holi Festival incroyable grâce à lui

This is a very cute hostel next to the very centre of town. The main selling point for me is hostel owner Bishwo (apologies for the spelling!), whose friendliness and passion for his guests happiness is infectious. We went out on his motorbike to a waterfall and have had so much fun in the evenings, for no want of his own! He really cares about Bhaktapur and the surrounding nature and is keen to show it to guests and explain that Bhaktapur is more than just the town, but beautiful nature too

Really great hostel. Amazing staff and a superb central location in Bhaktapur. I found it very easy to meet other travellers there. Superb value for money.
