Zostel Kochi (Ernakulam)

Hostel staff are awesome, great people and vibe. One thing to improve is that they allow only food you purchase from the hostel restaurant which has poor menu (mainly maggi noodles and very basic staff). So if you plan to order pizza or any food from apps you will not be able to do it. Staff said it mentioned in their policy which is not.

hostel seems to be catered to locals and not international backpackers. no curtains on beds. zoom calls until 2am. weird staring at night. we didn't get a wink of sleep. doors being left open when entering and leaving. staff and randomers sleeping in the communal areas. people in bed sat clicking their fingers and and listening to Indian music until 3am. just a s**t experience tbh. feedback given to the manager but not receptive at all.

Hostel was nice but felt like it was missing energy. No food or alcohol for sale and not allowed to bring it in makes it feel like a bed and nothing else. Made sure to stay away from the hostel.

The hostel itself is fine, friendly staff, WiFi is good, bed was comfy enough. the food menu was pretty limited, but I found a place called ARRYAS GREEN 15 mins away which did really good authentic 100% veggie Kerala food which I recommend. But unfortunately the local girls in my room were so so noisy until about 1pm, turning the lights on and talking normally, then at 3am a girl took a video call in the room and just spoke openly. An absolutely dreadful sleep so on this I wouldn't recommend.

The location not that good if you’re travel in kochi, far away from everywhere, the room are full of mosquito, annoying while sleep

Good, clean hostel but miles away from anywhere interesting in Kochi. Useful as a stopping point for the bus station/airport or to work in the office.

The hostel has a great layout and good social vibe. Everything was decently clean and they have a really nice co-working space. The only thing I didn't like was the location as the hostel is quite far away from everything in Ernakulam

The hostel staff is very friendly and helpful. While the location might be a bit far from Kochi, it's perfect if you're just passing through, as the train stations are very close. Additionally, it's very clean for Indian hostel standards.

Nice large social spaces. Clean and well presented dorms. Food and laundry offered makes things easy.

I had an unforgettable stay at this hostel. The staff are incredible. I’ve never felt so at home at a hostel. The set up of the place is very homely. The staff and atmosphere encourage socialising. A big thank you to Sreejith, Sheethal, Sreekala, Ayush and Chacko who all helped me when I was not well at the hostel. Thanks to the chefs also. Gutes Hostel, modern und sauber. Gratis Wasser, Waschmaschine gegen Bezahlung. Netter Ausenbereich und ruhige Gegend.

My experience at Zostel, Kochi was amazing. I loved the vibe. The staff was very helpful. And especially, the community manager on the property was so warmth, sweet and welcoming.

Really nice hostel and great people too. The dorm was clean and people were friendly. It’s not too far from the train station and easy drive to the fort. Really comfortable would deffo recommend !

The property was really good. Very lively location and lively set up staff was really good rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. overall fantastic stay

The Hostel is located in a nice and safe area of Ernakulam. We stayed in the double room, which was maybe a little bit too pricey, but very comfortable and clean. The hostel has a great common area.

I came in early due to my bus and the staff was very accommodating and helped with everything. Deepak was the guy that helped me with everything, the man's leg was broken but still worked 10x harder than anyone I have meet,He organized everything to see for me and gave me advice so I don't get scammed. I extended just because this hostel was amazing and a great place to relax. The events organized were great too and very engaging. the events helped make some great friends

Clean and nice spot to spend a few days, probably the best hostel in the area. Vibe is definitely interesting, the demographic is quite varied. No extreme praise, but also no complaints (except for a creepy dude in the dorm, but you can get that in any hostel)

zostel kochi is a top-notch Zostel. The rooms are spacious and the bed is really comfortable. The aesthetic and atmosphere in the hostel is great, making it really easy to meet people. The food and service is good too. Definitely recommend this if you want to explore Kochi
