Nice Hosts, good atmosphere but more of a home stay due to children around. Abit unorganised with payments, on check out we were charged more then originally was said. But overall this place has potential.

The owner and manager of the hostel was great! Unfortunately when I was there, there was only one other guest. We got along great but it wasn’t the best hostel experience. Furthermore, there wasn’t any activities organised, we didn’t get an opportunity to have dinner together or do yoga etc as it wasn’t worth the effort for two of us. Está lindo el lugar pero si se tiene que caminar para llegar a la playa, por la noche está muy oscura la calle Me quedé en un lugar tan lejos porque dicen que rentan bicis pero no había Y en la página tienen que cuentan con aire acondicionado, el aire estaba en el cuarto pero no me lo prendieron porque no reservé con aire, que en la descripción del cuarto que reservé no dice en ningún lado que es sin aire El personal muy amable!

as we were the only guests (off-season) and left after one night, she was a bit vocal about it. a bit too much to be honest. its also good to know, that she lives in the dame house, and it includes her two children.

Very nice family but the rooms are very small and it gets hot at night fast. Also breakfast is not included and you are not supposed to use the kitchen. It’s very cozy and I felt very welcomed.

The other travellers staying here really made this place everything for me. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street so super nice and quiet, but definitely need a tuk tuk / bicycle / scooter to get places as it is quite far (the owners can help with bicycle and scooter rental). This does add to the charm tho. It is definitely family vibes with the owners and their 2 (gorgeous) kids all living on site running around / coming and going from school etc, just to be aware :)

Great hostel! Judit runs a very friendly and chill place, they couldn’t do more to help. Everything is pretty affordable here too which is s plus. Nice relaxing family vibe :)

The place was beautiful, but a little bit far from the beach. The vibe was good, but the owner was to my opinion a little bit too comfortable with their guests. They love to help you with your yourney though, which was really nice!

had a lovely stay at this hostel. Only a few things letting it down. the beds were very short. I am 188cm and could not fit in the bed at all! the mattress was also so thin I could feel the slats underneath poking into me. That being said I did have a wonderful time at the hostel and felt very welcomed into the family home.

Gem of a hostel with a really nice host. Outdoor area is stunning with hammocks and couches etc. Really nice rural setting and 15 minute walk to the beach/ main road. Host sometimes brings guests for a surf in the afternoon. There’s a shop 50 metres away. You are a bit out of main town for dinner etc but can get a tuk tuk/ delivery easy. Breakfast was also really, really good!

Isuru is a wonderful host. He's friendly and open, a great cook and a patient surf instructor. The outdoor space is so beautiful. I would come back here in a heartbeat. There's a lovely vibe in the hostel. I met some friendly people and continued travelling with them.

Isuru was the best host ever – such a helpful and heartwarming person. The hostel is perfect if you’re looking for a social but chill vibe. The common area in the middle of the garden is just magical. Isuru even threw a family dinner for us, and he’s an amazing cook as well! I met the best three girls here, who I ended up travelling around Sri Lanka with. Will definitely come back!

Had a great stay here! The hostel was clean and cosy, with outdoor terrace being the place to be for socializing or chilling in the hammocks. I extended my stay for a couple of nights to get some extra surf lessons in, given by the host Isuru. He was wonderful both at the hostel and as a surf teacher, I highly recommend visiting here!

Such a great place! Isuru and Chanaka are the loveliest people and made the stay 10/10, thank you!!

The sense of community fostered at the hostel is truly remarkable. I originally came for one night, but stayed for 3 weeks and felt like part of the family. Isuru puts so much dedication into making this place feel special and comfortable. Whether you’re a solo adventurer or traveling with friends, this hostel promises a memorable and fulfilling stay.

I had a great time there and almost everyone extended their stay. It is such a nice and social place to stay.

We had the best experience at Judith’s place. Everything went way beyond our expectations. From the lovely house in the forest to the surfing session with locals, we were so lucky to enjoy the local life in such an incredible environment. Judith’s food is amazing and hope we can soon attend her cooking classes! Her kids were just the cutest and almost made us stay forever. We really felt at home. The other guests were also wonderful. We probably met the best travel buddy ever. His great...

Very friendly and helpful hosts. In a pretty and peaceful location, a short tuktuk or scooter from lovely beaches and the town. We rented a scooter from here for a good price and had a Sri Lankan dinner too. Not your classic hostel vibe more of a homely experience with the family around but very nice if you don’t mind that.
