La Palma Hostel Leiria

Dreadful.I had booked. It took ages to find it, no sign at the door. I was told it was fll, even though I had a booking. Very awkward staff.

This place is werid from the staff only showing up at random times late at night or early in the morning. Also someone arguged with me making noise at 10 pm so you cant check in at that time realistically. Funny enough thid person was in the wrong bed. I didnt trust them even after they moved so i moved rooms. my room upstairs had no wifi for some reason. I came back from dinner and my key didnt work so i had to use a random other key lucky enough for my room because no staff at 10 at night.

L’Hostel n’était pas propre. J’ai eu des boutons sur le corps le lendemain de mon séjour.. punaises de lits ou autres... Les personnes qui étaient à l’auberge ne semblaient pas être des voyageurs et je ne me suis pas sentie en sécurité. J’ai attendu 18h30 pour faire le check-in car personne n’était à la réception. Je ne recommande pas cet hostel.

Le lenzuola erano un po’ sporche, una porta del bagno non si chiudeva. Per il resto ha tutto l’essenziale necessario. Ha una piscina che sembrava carina ma non l’ho usata.

When i arrived nobody sent me a code or told me that i need a code to enter. Then nobody was on réception. My bed was not ready at around 4h30 pm . The bathroom of the Floor wasn't on fonction. The showers doesn't have espace to put clothes and it is mixed as the dortoir. There was a very strange man on my room that likes to Say good Night and touch you ans there were nobody at Night nor on the morning around 7 -7h45 when i left on case of an urgence. I didn't feel save

I really liked my stay. The host was very nice, and the location is perfect. But there was constant smell in the bathroom and the bedroom. We had to leave open the windows in the bathroom constantly ( day and night) during 3 days.

Le gros problème c'est qu'il n'y a personne sur place! N'y pour accueillir les guests et tout le reste... Il y a des gens dans la piscine jusqu'à 5h du matin, un gars bizarre a ouvert la chambre de notre dortoir, du va et vient toute la nuit... une horreur!!! j'ai quasi pas dormi... et s'il se passe quelque chose personne n'est là! C'est dommage sinon c'est un bel hostel, il faut juste quelqu'un sur place.

Mold in the bathrooms and very limited breakfast for €5. Almost zero social aspect of this place and I was able to come back, store my bag, then get it again 4 hours later and never saw a staff member to ask or security. I had the door code from the night before and just walked in and out like I owned the place.

A really beautiful and chilled out hostel. Felt more like a hotel! Great facilities and communal spaces. It wasnt clear if breakfast was free or not which would have been good to know, a little tricky with no staff on site. Only big negative was how thing the walls were between rooms, you could hear every word and sound as theres not really a wall separating but a old closed up door...

nice located hostel, clean and quiet at night. good beds, narrow bathroom, functional kitchen ; however people kept stealing others' food in the fridge

The hostel is stunning and in a perfect location. The main problem is the absence of the staff that makes hard to have access to the services and it gives the impression to not feel safe, especially during the night.

I really liked the hostel. Just one feedback, the doors do make noise. People who have sensitive sleeping habit they may get disturb in night. Thanks to the Hostess Lady officer, who was attending all. She attends vert politely. Regards

It’s my second time there ,the staff are amazing and go out of their way to make you comfortable. They keep the place clean and beautiful, it has an amazing vibe from the way it’s been decorated to the art works , everything is special. The location is perfect for my needs . I plan to go to Leiria later o this year and yes I will be back . Always a pleasure .

weil die Eingangstür keine Klingel oder ähnliches hat, ist es vor dem Check-in schwer reinzukommen. danach aber eine gute Unterkunft

Insgesamt ein ganz solides Hostel mit ein paar negativen Seiten 😅 Einmal ist das Hostel nirgends ausgeschildert und wenn man das richtige Haus dann mal gefunden hat, gibt es keine Klingel und keinen Hinweis darauf, dass man an der richtigen Stelle ist. Außerdem war ich den ganzen Tag komplett alleine in dem recht großen Hostel, also Atmosphäre gleich null, aber Ich war eh nur eine nacht zum ausruhen da, von daher verkraftbar. Der Rest war ganz gut und eine nette Dachterrasse 👍🏼

Good! The perfect place

Wonderful rustic little place, very friendly staff, centrally located and right near the castle. Highly recommended.

the price for this hostel was perfect! the staff was very kind but we had some problems with some other guests. on the first day, I was roomed with 3 guys, while my female friend was in a room on her own (both 4 pers mixed dorms). I'd like there to be at least one other girl, so I asked if I could swap to her room. that was possible, but the next day one of the guys (he gave me a bad feeling) was suddenly sleeping in our room! there was constantly no staff so we couldn't ask why he was swaped..

La Palma Hostel...is a great place to stay while in Leiria. The location is great right at the center of the city. The staff was great as well. I would add that Ana is a sweet lady. So adorable and always there to assist us. I really recommend this hostel.

Hermoso lugar! No le doy un 10/10 porque me resultó difícil encontrarlo ya que no tenía ningún cartel que lo identificase entre las casas, por lo que recomendaría buscar con anticipación la ubicación y cómo se ve desde el exterior para no perderse. La decoración del lugar es encantadora y parece ser un lugar tranquilo
