PTM DownTown Hostel

Place was great. Pool was nice. Staff was very kind and friendly. Nice place overall. Only negative was that our air conditioner wasn't working so we just slept with the windows partially open. We could have probably asked them to fix it but we didn't. We ate all our breakfasts there, lots of good options. Place wasn't too close to the beach but the Ubers there were cheap and quick, would suggest that to anyone staying here.

it's a nice place to stay. you can chill there in the pool or going the bar/restaurant downstairs. it's like 30 min with bus from the beach, but it's simple go there. Anyway, it's near to a lot of restaurants and near the river, so it's a nice ubication. it's also near the train station.

Todo bastante bien calidad-precio. Experiencia bastante positiva. Pocos enchufes en las habitaciones. Pagando un servicio de baño privado, entró una persona ajena a ducharse sin dar una explicación. Por lo tanto no merece la pena pagar por el baño privado porque puede entrar cualquier persona. En nuestro caso entró una chica ajena a la habitación sabiendo el codigo de nuestra habitación. Lo comentamos en recepción y no nos dieron ninguna respuesta ni explicación. No nos sentimos muy com...

The pool is such a treat, particularly during hot summer days, and the breakfast from the cafe downstairs is excellent. I also loved the location - close to lots of public transport for day trips around the area. The rooms are quite spartan - no bed curtains and not enough plugs for the number of beds - and the shared showers/toilets are tiny, could do with a more regular clean and toilet paper check. There wasn’t much of a vibe and, as a solo traveller, it was hard to meet people.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything was clean. The staff were friendly and the outdoor area was really nice. Definitely would recommend.

This is one of the best deal hostels you can find in Portimao. The owner and caretakers (Sara and Victoria) of the hostel express their concern for the well-being and comfort of the guests by assuring standard cleaning and providing options to secure your belongings. The environment is modern, providing air conditioning to sharp and organized common spaces and in the dormitories. The additional pool and the complimentary breakfast (the restaurant has the same owner) make a nutritious choice.

Gorgeous, we felt safe, everyone was nice. We like the area it was in.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything was clean. The staff were friendly and the outdoor area was really nice. Definitely would recommend.
