This hostel has put me off hostels for life. The room was tiny with 8 beds in it. The lockers are wooden and most don't even lock. They're also tiny, so people's things were just strewn across the floor. It was stuffy, my head was next to someones feet. Someone stole my rented towel. Ubereats delivery guys were staying in there longterm and were coming and going all night with no attempt of being quiet. I dont have anywhere near enough characters on this to list all my complaints, just stay awa...
I only stayed for one night during a very busy time, so I paid a lot of money to stay in a bed with a snorer. The lockers didn't hold locks, so I didn't want to keep my important stuff in the room. The location was great. If I wasn't in peak holiday prices, the value would have been way higher.
unclean TINY shared bathrooms and showers. extremely small rooms with poor ventilation. insane amount of steep stairs. hard to go up with luggage in hand. overall shady weird hostel vibes.

We sliepen op een kamer van 10 personen waarbij er dag en nacht mensen sliepen. Da kamer had naast een klein raam, geen andere verluchting. De helft van de lockers was voorzien van een slot, maar de andere waren defect. Zoals ik andere reviews waren de trappen heel steil, maar dat was voor ons geen probleem. De receptie is wel 24/24 geopend.
We slept in a room for 10 people where people slept day and night. The room had a small window next to it, no other ventilation. Half of the lockers were fitted with a slot, but the others were defective. Like I other reviews the stairs were very steep, but that was no problem for us. The reception is indeed open 24/24.
Staff behavior was very worst and the room also not and even hot water not coming in the toilet worst experience
It wasn't super clean and there wasn't anywhere to securely store your things. In a good location though, and the staff were nice.
do not book unless you are choosing between sleeping on the street or staying here.
Pushed by fellow drunk guest at front door and the staff don’t care, I don’t recommend staying here for the prices you pay might as well stay in a pub.
As soon as we arrived we left. It was nothing like in the photos and it was very dirty. The place to eat was the same as the smoke room and all of the hostel smelled like pot. We paid another hostel and stayed there.

L'auberge est parfaitement située, au bord des canaux en plein centre ville. Elle est aussi très charmante ! Malheureusement je trouve qu'il manque un peu d'équipements, notamment au niveau de la cuisine (simplement un micro-onde pour faire à manger c'est un peu léger, et de prise, je devais partager la mienne avec une autre personne et c'était parfois compliqué, également de casier sécurisé assez grand pour mettre un sac). Sinon je recommande cet endroit qui est très agréable à viv...
Unfortunately I find that there is a little bit of equipment missing, especially in the kitchen (simply a microwave to cook it is a little light, and of course I had to share mine with another person and it was sometimes complicated, also to secure a safe big enough to put a bag in). otherwise I recommend this place which is very nice to live in !

The washrooms are too small

Our room was clean and they’re kind enough to put only girls in our room, but the bathroom and the toilet were disgusting. The bathroom drain was clogged, causing the shower stall to overflow everywhere. Even worse, since there was no partition separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom, the entire space flooded. The floor was so dirty and full of food scraps and trash that, combined with the water. The hostel is in a super nice area with good price, but cleanness needs tobe prioritiz...

Location and staff were nice, but overall stay wasn't great. I only saw two toilets for my floor plus a shower room. Staff was kind but my room wasn’t ready upon check in. I was told I’d be informed when it was, but wasn’t so I waited close to 2 hrs. Dirty and doesn’t feel secure - neither doors nor luggage storage. Lockers in room are wooden and some locks were broken.
It wasn't super clean and there wasn't anywhere to securely store your things. In a good location though, and the staff were nice.

Honestly one of the worst hostel experiences in my life. Late check in at different location, Staff unaware of that procedure. 30min to get a key locker code… Small crowded rooms with no space for luggage (luckily only had a small bag). All lockers in the room in use somehow so couldn’t secure my stuff. Staff that came to look for me at 2am because they forgot to take my payment. Nearly made me go back to other location. Tiny Shower in room with no door (fogged glass door only). Don’t go...
This hostel needs to be fumigated immediately. We stayed in a room with 5 beds and at least one of the beds had bed bugs. My friend woke up and was bitten all on his arm and sides. It's very clearly bed bug bites due to the size, itchiness and clustering. The room needs to be cleaned immediately and thoroughly. I wouldn't be surprised if it spread to other rooms. Would not stay again and advised staff of the situation.
I genuinely felt unsafe at this hostel, the bathroom is in the room but there’s no door so showering in a mixed gender room is a bit unnerving especially when there’s a bunch f guys smoking weed all day and night in the smoking room. I was one of 2 girls in the room with 4 men, I showered very late at night and then waited til everyone had gone for the day. I wouldn’t recommend - the only reason I booked it was the price but Honestly I should of spent a bit more and stayed elsewhere
Very clean and we had a quiet room. Shower and sink in room which is useful. Toilets are pretty clean and are just down the hall. Lockers in our room for which you need to bring your own padlock. Overall happy experience !
