Very bad hospitility

The stay was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel. First of all, you have to go up super straight stairs to come into the hostel. And later on to your room one more time even smaller stairs. Not very practical with big suitcases. Secondly, the staff was really unfriendly. I just asked something because I didn’t really understand it. She was always yelling at me and getting aggressive. To start off the room was full of a group of Irish lads that were okay the start but gradually got so much worse. They decided it would be a good idea to let their mates from a different room into ours making that to about 15 people plus us. They were playing very loud bass music,filled the only sink with beer cans and were hesitant to move them,found one of their mates half naked in my sisters bed,one of them started smoking in the room,one of them walked out the shower and flashed us….

WAAYYY too expensive for what you get. Only good thing is that it is central. No common room, very tight, little space. Impossible to meet other travelers when solo travelling.

the bedaheets were stained and dirty, location was perfect but if you book last minute you can find cheaper and much more cleaner hostels

Ragazze non prenotate mai in questa struttura, sono degli schifosi che ti mettono in stanza con 6 uomini over 35 minacciandoti di separarti dalla tua amica e quando vai a dire che te ne vai perché non ti senti a tuo agio con degli adulti ti dicono “ma perché non lo avete detto ieri pomeriggio vi avrei messo in una stanza solo donne”. (Non mi hanno rimborsata) inoltre il bagno puzza di muffa e le scale per salire nelle camere sono pericolosissime.

S*** hostel. The bathroom stink. The room was cramped and tiny. My stuff got stolen and the staff did nothing but apologise. Ridiculous price in a dirty street

C’était horrible Aucun espace commun, un micro ondes et une bouilloire posée à l’accueil en guise de cuisine Une douche à partager à 8 en guise de salle de bains Réveil 8h tous les matins avec la lumière pour le ménage Chambre beaucoup trop petite Endroit bruyant J’ai beaucoup aimé Amsterdam mais rentrer à l’auberge tous les soirs était une source d’angoisse, heureusement c’est très bien placé Pour le prix c’est ahurissant… passez votre chemin

I was nervous for my first time in Amsterdam, especially on NYE, but the hostel in De Wallen was reassuring. It was clean, simple to use, and the other people in the hostel were mostly courteous, quiet, and shared similar views. I met anti monarchists from West Asia, Social-Democrats from Ireland, young workers from France, Germany, and many Pro-Palestinian youth. If you want to meet other young, left wing tourists, come here. Just please, wear headphones if you want to watch TV until 2am.

it was fine, the place was super small, the shower was not that comfortable, but i guess that’s fine for the small stay just for the place where u need to storage ur bags and get come rest

Kleines Zimmer für 10 Personen. Nur eine Toilette und 1 Badezimmer. Sehr seltsame leute im Zimmer und viel zu heiss. keine belüftung

The room was extremely small to the point where you couldn’t fully open the under-the-bed storage all the way because the other beds were in the way.

Horrible selfish idiots in my dorm. I might be getting older, but I’ve been travelling the world for many decades, and there’s simply no excuse for inconsiderate people talking at the top of their voice at 11pm when several other people are clearly trying to sleep, AND the house rules state consideration should be given to people trying to sleep. White noise ear plugs weren’t enough to block out the volume, and one of them even left their phone on over night, pinging every 2 mins at around...

Its super cool placed, nice and good pricing. But... sleeping under thin sheet in about 10°C is possibly worst than having sleeping bag as homeless 😂 Im sick of that and its summer 😅 Just take a blanket with You guys. Else its cool place and personal is sweet

L’emplacement est vraiment top, en plein dans Amsterdam. Malheureusement l’hostel n’est pas pratique, il n’y a pas de salle commune, de cuisine ou d’une salle pour les bagages. Dans les chambres, il y a beaucoup de lits très serrés et les fenêtres ne sont pas isolées donc on entend tout. Le prix est bas comparé à d’autres lieux à Amsterdam, c’est ça qui vaut le coup, cependant je n’ai pas beaucoup dormi.

Firstly, the hostel itself is over cramped and horrendous. The room smelled absolutely disgusting, and to add to it, my first night someone puked on the ground and the staff started screaming at the drunk guy, waking everyone up. Then he mopped up the vomit, but the room continued to smell like vomit for 3 days. I asked the girl at the front desk to clean it again and she refused. So I had her give me the mop. Please save yourself and DO NOT go here.

La ubicación es lo único bueno de este hostal. La pieza de 8 personas fue demasiado pequeña y los baños también

The toilet is outside of the room. Shower inside (in front of reception. No place to chill or hangout other than your bed. Hostel is in a good location and cheap. Beds are clean. Reception not very friendly
