Tam Coc Central Bungalow 2

This hostel is in a great location. The rooms were overall nice, we opted for a private room. The only downside was a smell of sewage from the drains and a very poor shower that only trickled out from the secondary hose. The staff were pretty miserable and not especially pleasant. They seemed pretty dismissive and uninterested if you didn’t want to book a tour with them. I think in part this is why the atmosphere is dead. The likes of Banana Tree are far more lively and fun.

Great views and the pool is lovely. If you’re solo or wanting to make friends, it’s not great. Some people about the pool during the day but by 6pm everyone is gone so it’s hard if you’re out and about exploring The food is also really really bad

Pleasant, peaceful hostel with clean private rooms and a nice pool area in a great location just outside town 👍 + We checked in at 3am and self-check in and instructions were pre arranged - Moped rental requires physical passport as deposit only, so we rented through Ha Tien Motorbike rental just down the road who are fantastic. - Staff are efficient and polite, but can seem abrupt and not overly attentive if you have a problem, especially with language barrier Overall a comfortable stay

It’s a beautiful place, but not the best for solo travellers. Lot of noise in dorm also because the bathroom is next to it without any separate door that blocks out the noise.

Lovely hostel. Nice pool and communal spaces. We stayed in a private twin room which was absolutely beautiful. Not the most social hostel but can visit others nearby to meet people.

Staff were really helpful and accommodating. Lovely peaceful hostel but not a lot going on, if you’re looking for social events and to meet people then this is not the place.

Staff were pleasant for check in, always on hand if needed. Everywhere was clean at first glance however the place could do with a deep clean (bathroom bins/floors etc) not a big issue at all but would just improve the place a little! We did see a fair few rats by the pool however appreciate being near the water the hosts can only manage this so much. Not much of a social atmosphere but this may be because the place is so large. - organised games nights would be a great addition :)

Nice and clean room but you could hear every word from the room next door. Reception could be nicer and more helpful!

Nice hostel, needs some maintanance on bathrooms but everything else was decent. Nice pool and the hostel is really pretty and clean. Ill get a pissed response to this but the staff needs to relax. They drill you with information upon arrival and if you ask something or dont immidiatly understand they get passive agressive or yell at you. They say please and thankyou but meanwhile they roll their eyes at each other. If you are out of patience for travellers its time to find a different job.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The beds were so comfortable and the cleaning team are amazing. They come in like a small army! There’s no atmosphere in the evening but it was still easy to chat to people and make friends in the room and then venture out into town. One thing to note if solo it’s a very dark walk home at night but we didn’t feel unsafe

Really great value for a private room located just outside town with pretty surroundings. The free breakfast was ok but not the best but not the worst we’ve had. There wasn’t really any social seen at the hostel.

Quite literally the best hostel I’ve ever been to. As soon as you check in they give you a map of all the attractions and tips of when to go. The staff are all so welcoming and kind! The breakfast buffet is great, the views are immaculate, the beds are the comfiest I’ve had in all of Vietnam. Location is convenient but not too close to all the party noise. AND they gave me water/snacks before my overnight bus! Can’t recommend enough!

Excellent location and beautiful place. Would recommend and stay again. Facility wise the only downside is that the walls are paper thin and I got to know my neighbors more closely than I wanted... I also booked a trip (1.4m) through the hostel and found out during the trip that people who had booked through other places had paid considerably less (800k). Trip was lovely though, so no regrets.

LOVED this place!! So clean, so nice. Was like staying in a hotel. gorgeous stay and a nice pool. I put one less for atmosphere as it’s not really the place to come if you want to be social.

Lovely hostel! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were probably the nicest we stayed in throughout Vietnam! And nice location for a chill time in Ninh Binh

Best hostel we stayed in. We had a private room for the first night and it was extremely nice! And for the last night we stayed in the dorms which was also a great room with comfortable beds and two nice bathrooms. The breakfast buffet was also insanely good! Best place we stayed in in Vietnam!

the best place I have stayed in throughout all of se Asia, it’s a really beautiful place, and the staff are amazing. I was unable to walk due to an injury and the staff went above and beyond to help me, and would constantly check in on me and help me with anything I needed. Cannot recommend this place enough, so good that I’ll be coming back to nihn bihn to stay here!
