- L’emplacement est horrible. Tout est obscure même à 20:00, sans parler de l’odeur nauséabonde du marché. Le dortoir pour femmes est au 5 ème étage, sans ascenseur, les salles d’eau dans un étage différent.
They discriminate their guest, when I arrived there, smoking weed was allowed. After that bunch of Chinese guys arrived whom don’t like weed at all, they’ve changed the house rules during our stay and basically kicked us out. The irony is, hostel is right the center of Bangkoks fish market, so the smell of dead fish is basically everywhere.
+ Bed is comfortable for a hostel
- The hostel is right inside a fish market. They do mention this when you book and say you will not notice any smell inside, but that was not really the case. You can still smell it indoors. The room felt pretty stuffy, and there was no good way to make the room cooler. The bathrooms and showers are open air, which is common in some hostels, but with a fish market just outside it did not feel very pleasant. The bathrooms also did not seem very well maintained, and the shower water pressure could definitely be better. Being a hostel is fine, but it should not mean cutting back on basic comfort, especially since this is not a cheap place. Overall, it did not quite live up to the price.

+ Apart from smelling like a humid cellar in level 4 to 6 it was decent and has a nice view from the top (which has no furniture to enjoy it). It has a few tables with power outlets nearby, which are ok for working.
- Location is not so good in the fish market. I had a hard time socializing with other guests. Often times I didn't even get a hello back, when I greeted them. To me this seems the perfect place for ultra introverts. The humidity problem in their house is something they are a bit aware of, but they don't seem to recognize how bad it really is. Some of the showers are in the core of the house without enough ventilation, they try to ventilate in the middle of the day, certainly one of the worst times and fill the rooms with humid air just to run the AC again. They should talk to a professional to solve this issue permanently or else the risk of mold will steadily rise.

- Okolica targu rybnego - dojscie do hostelu przez bardzo smierdzaca i brudna okolice. W samym hostelu nie czuć tego zapachu.

+ Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hostel à Bangkok. L’endroit est très confortable, avec des lits particulièrement agréables et des chambres correctes en termes de taille. La propreté était également au rendez-vous, ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus plaisant. Le rooftop est un vrai point fort : il offre une vue incroyable sur la ville, parfait pour se détendre. À noter qu’il peut y avoir une légère odeur de poisson à l’extérieur, mais dès que l’on rentre à l’intérieur, cela disparaît complètement et ne pose aucun problème. Nous recommandons cet établissement pour un séjour confortable à Bangkok.

Lovely lovely hostel. Doesn't even feel like a hostel to be honest, more like a hotel. Staff was kind, rooms and facilities were very clean, I felt safe, and the river view at night was incredible! The only thing is once in a while the rooms would have a slight smell of fish. Other than that, great experience and I'd for sure come back.

+ The staff here are super helpful and kind. Even though my family doesn't speak English, they were patient and went out of their way to help us. The location is a bit of a hidden gem, it’s tucked away near a seafood market, so the smell outside can be a bit 'fishy,' but once you’re inside with the AC on, you don't notice it at all. The river view is incredibly chill, and the rooftop and balcony dining areas are perfect for grabbing a bite and meeting people. It has a total youth hostel vibe-great if you're looking to make new friends¬¬
- the ventilation of common space on second floor could be improved, as well as the washing machine/drying machine
