No me dejaron hacer uso del parqueo con la excusa de que mi carro era muy grande, por lo tanto tuve que dejarlo en la calle y me chocaron el carro. El dueño es muy prepotente e irrespetuoso. Las instalaciones son antiguas además de que hacen publicidad engañosa ya que la habitación se supone que está equipada con doble cama y solo tiene una cama y un sofá cama.

War im September da und es stand nirgens, weder auf der Website noch auf den Buchungsplattformen, dass das Restaurant zu ist, die Bar zu ist und der Pool nicht genutzt werden kann sprich nicht geputzt wird. Das wurde erst beim Check-in kurz mitgeteilt.

This is the worse place ever. It seems nice at frst look, but is decadent. Poor maintenance. Smelly, dirty, cats screaming, cat poop in pool furniture, horrible. This is not a hostel. It's a restaurant, so all the pictures u see of ppl hanging it's just from it. In 4 days there, saw 1 couple going for dinner. No atmosphere, pool dirty. Good pp working. Nice a/c, thats it. And don't be fooled about the kitchen, it's not be used by ppl doorms, it shows a kitchen for the few private rooms.

No where to really sit comfortably. Ants all over our room, had a nest going in our door frame. All of this would of been whatever for me, but once we left and started driving to our next town, they charged us for 2 cotton blankets that we didn't see the whole trip. Terrible. When we arrived, the receptionist didn’t let us do the check in because he wanted to charge us more. Then, when they finally accepted what was reflecting on the page, they gave us the beds… the place was terrible, it was the dirtiest place for much. Also, they didn’t tell us that a man was living there!!! It was really awful.

I slept on the top bunk of a 5 bed dorm. My bed was covered in dirt from the ceiling and there were loads of bugs. I have bed bug bites and did not sleep a wink. The ceiling was very thin so you could hear all of the animals running over the roof. For the price I paid for this accommodation I was disappointed.

No common kitchen either. The location is a 10/10, only 6 min walk from beach. The dorm was OK, smelled pretty bad of humidity. Bed was super comfortable. Ants in the room. If you want a place just to crash, it's pretty calm. I stayed there 3 nights and total of 3 guests. Pretty expensive for what it actually is.

Spent two nights at the dormroom! Definitely not recommendable! It was dirty and full of ants everywhere! Does not live up to the descriptions! Bad wifi connection in the room, as well as a very weak air conditioning! Strange place!

Excelente lugar! limpio, comodo, buen desayuno, seguridad y con estacionemiento ( para 4 autos). 100% recomendable. Quizas la unica desventaja es la distancia al Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio.

Super social and friendly. Perfect location. You control the air conditioning. Good mix of partying and chill. Surf lessons are great.

I am glad I picked Bonga house again. It really feels like a second home . the staff is great and very helpful The room is very clean and comfortable only 5 in the room. Love the pool. is really big and i enjoy being in the pool area while the monkeys pass bye. The location is perfect you dont need a car , we walk everywhere . the beach is only a block away. I even got surf lessons with Adrian and it was amazing very professional i was able to ride a nice wave, i will be back soon to Bo...

Great hostel if you value comfort, quiet, and security. Keypad entry for both the hostel and dorms, hot showers, clean rooms, and plenty of secure storage. The location is perfect—just a 5–10 minute walk to everything. If you want a big social scene and a large kitchen, Tamarindo Backpackers is better. But if you prefer a calm, comfortable stay, this place is perfect. Also, shout out to Splash and the rest of the staff for all your hard work and for making us feel welcomed!

It's a very nice hotel in a perfect location. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Overall, a great experience.

Truly a sanctuary. I don’t know what this place has, but its energy is one of a kind. It somehow has a way to your heart and an addicting nature which sucks you in and makes you never want to leave. I stayed in one of the dorm rooms (seahorse) which overlooked a super cute garden and had access to a gorgeous pool view. I came back to Bonga House because I enjoyed my stay so much the first time!It's such a beautiful place .Really close to the beach and located in a lovely, peaceful area, yet still just minutes away from all the party spots in Tamarindo. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and do everything they can to make your stay perfect. It's a small hotel with a warm, family-like vibe.The rooms were very clean, and if you need anything, the staff are always ready to help

Great hostel very friendly staff the location is perfect love the big pool and watch the monkeys pass by. I try the food from the restaurant Barefoot and it was delicious I wish i could stay longer but for sure i will return i had a great time at Bonga house

Great location and easy stay, not in its prime but gets the job done!

Great spot tucked away from the business of downtown but still very close. Staff is very friendly and nice. Would absolutely stay here again.

We got super lucky and our dorm room was just the 2 of us for most of our trip. Great room, strong AC available all day, bathroom facilities great. Only downsides is the pool is cluttered with leaves so we never used it, but you’re so close to the ocean it doesn’t matter. And there’s lots of ants everywhere, many make it into the rooms. The could do with a pest control service or something. Other than that it was an awesome stay!

Super chill hostel with lots of space to relax and do your thing. Rooms were very clean with nice beds and it's in the perfect location
