Faro Albacor Residence

Staff is extremely arrogant and rude (Bald guy w glasses.) They don’t have any staff to answer the door and when there is someone they watching you and complaining about having to open the door every time you go in & out. I know it’s cheap but if you want to be disrespected everyday and have no privacy in the rooms because there aren’t curtains. Do it but honestly spend an extra euro and go to somewhere you are valued. I would not recommend at all. 0/10

For the prices charged on the peak tourist seasons of Algarve the hostel is a rip off. 1. No AC during hot summers, charged nearly 50 Euros for a bed per night. 2. Just 2 fans for 4 people in a suffocating room. Feels like a heat chamber. 3. The showers doesn't even have a handwashing gel, I mean, it costs like 3 Euros per washroom. I was just spending more time outside so that I do not have to return. I am glad my 2 days stay is over.

Quarto privado muito limpo, mas muito quente. Havia uma ventoinha, mas não adiantou de muito.

Personal was a highlight of our stay. The people working here were very nice and friendly. Solid option overall!

pretty good. U have your own bathroom. Never had one before in a Hostel :D

War eine gute Unterkunft, nette Leute und die Rezeption sehr Wohlwollend und freundlich. Leider gab es keine Küche und auch nix um sich etwas zum Essen zu machen, was aufgrund der teuren Gegend in Portugal ungünstig ist. Ich würde aber wieder kommen.

Not a regular hostel, more of a residence, as the name says. Rooms were clean and nice for a good price. Would recommend.

They were very kind and helpful, and upgraded me to a single private room without my request. They provided great resources to enjoy Faro as well. The young Argentinian lady who checked who me in was also sweet and beautiful, which doesn’t hurt. Thank you, Faro Albacor!

Very Nice staff ,good location ,one of the most cleaned hostels I have been .Its a very quiet hostel but I stayed one night only .I will return for sure

Faro Albacor is a great hostel right in thw center of downtown. The staff was very nice and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were clean and tidy and very quiet.

Not very sociable but good clean rooms

The hostel in itself was good, the people at the front desk were nice and it was pretty easy. I only stayed here for 1 night with friends (I would not necessarily recommend staying here alone as there isn't much of a common area to meet other people). I was also unaware that there wasn't a kitchen or other facilities. It is set up a bit like hotel room where you have the bunks and an on suite bathroom.

Quieter hostel choice, if that's your thing. Super nice staff, clean and really good location.
