RMS Hostal - Condesa

Think twice before staying here. Spent the night alone in a dorm up a super high ladder. My expensive headset disappeared after staff entered the room to clean the next morning. No one else had been in the room. Only response I got is that they do not take responsibility for belongings and I would hear back from them. Of course I didn’t. Location is ok but facilities in general not clean and outdated. I never leave bad reviews but would definitely not come back here.

This is the absolute worst place I ever stayed at. They stole money from me by charging 4 times the price I was supposed to pay. I saw it right after I made the payment with my credit card and asked the woman at the reception to refund it. She said she had to talk to her manager and then that she would give it back the next day in cash. The next day she said she wouldn’t do that but instead the ‚accountant‘ would send it back to my credit card account. That never happened of course.

Mi experiencia en RMS Hostal - Condesa fue muy negativa. Durante mi estancia, mi casillero fue forzado y desapareció parte de mis ahorros. Informé al personal y solicité acceso a cámaras, pero no recibí respuesta clara ni seguimiento. Tuve que contactar a la administración por mi cuenta.ya que no hubo acompañamiento del personal. En todo momento me sentí abandonada, no protegida. No recomiendo este lugar para estancias largas ni para quienes viajan con pertenencias de valor.

Hostel got cancelled for no reason just half an hour before I wanted to arrive there at 2pm. Cannot recommended, luckily I could stay at a friends place instead

The staff was nice. Other than that this place is not a place to be comfortable. I was not satisfied at all. I had to leave early. This place should not be listed on here.

they gave me a different room from what i ordered and i after i paid the full price, i saw it and asked to cancel. the receptionist said she is sorry and i asked a refund i am still chasing after the manager to pay me back and he keeps ignoring me. horrible service. and the place is so stinky too.

The vibes are dead, everyone avoids interacting with others. There's only a single toilet in a closet on the 2nd floor with dorms. The showers are okay at least. You have to go to the separate shower room to wash your hands after the restroom. The beds are decent. I stayed just for the night cause I needed a bed to sleep in, that's all I would do.

the showers and the kitchen were never cleaned, the service was not friendly, we were disappointed

Booked two beds in a dorm. It was a very small room without a window at the top of a steep spiral staircase, not very safe. It was quite dirty behind the beds. But what really did it for us, was the baggage storage. We asked if we could leave our bagage for the day because of night bus. The staff said in a not so friendly way that it was 100 (!) pesos per bag, or we could leave a tip. When we came to get our stuff, we were asked after 5 minutes to hurry up and leave. Not very hostel like!

The staff was extremely friendly and nice, but the place is not nice and uncomfortable. my room smelled like trash as it had to go through a courtyard with all the trash bins. the showers had very little water and really inconvenient

Está sin duda es una de las mejores casa de RMS , encontré personas increíbles la ubicación es excelente y la casa tiene todo lo que necesita

my room was up a fire ladder? almost got stuck with my 2 backpacks, loved the staff, rooms without window & pretty smelly if u don’t know who’s below you.

Für den Preis, hat das Hostel hundertprozentig geboten was man erwartet hat. Im Gegensatz zu anderen hostels musste man auch nicht um Klopapier oder Wasser betteln. Die rezeptionistinnen waren deins um die Uhr freundlich und offen für Gespräche. Die Betten waren sauber und gemacht, die duschen Hostel-like und das Internet gut. Wer bei einem Hostel zu diesem Preis eine 5-Sterne Hotel-Ausstattung erwartet, der sollte sich überlegen, aus welchem Grund er ein Hostel besucht.

no tiene sentido dejar un reseña, cuando el manager esta preocupado por barnizar el barandal de las escaleras en lugar de verdaderamente arreglar lo que necesita

I had a nice time staying here! It’s quite a small hostel so it’s quite quiet, which I what I was looking for which was looking for! Loved the rooftop. However the upstairs dorm was very far from the toilets and the door creaks really loudly when you open it which can disturb people’s sleep. However, for the price I was happy with this hostel and I liked the location too

Great hostel in a great area! I think the gem of the place tho is its staff..lovely and helpful people!! What a great vibe!!

A Wonderful place! it is very clean, the beds are comfortable, great location, nice terrace to hang out and meet travelers and a good vibe, the only downside is that the beds have curtains so it does not feel like a hostel because everyone closes them and atmosphere becomes anti-social...overall I highly recommend it, I will go back soon!

Nice beds but very small rooms. Quiet and calm in a good location. A bit unpractical shower and bathroom situation but it worked

La estancia estuvo genial, las instalaciones están cómodas, un poco reducido pero bien, el personal del turno matutino es agradable, lo único que no me gustó fué la ubicación, un poco retirado para la zona que frecuento, pero la zona en que se encuentra el hostal es muy segura. Si me volvería a hospedar en sus instalaciones, pero en otra ubicación más cerca del monumento a la revolución.
