+ Overpriced for what’s offered. While the location is central, it’s very noisy and chaotic, and not worth the price or trade-offs.One toilet shared with the shower for the entire dorm. The volunteers were a gem and the only real positive of the stay. They Made my night and they were extremely kind and positive also organised a nice dinner for NYE I booked and paid for a 4-bed dorm but was placed in an 8-bed dorm for the same price—nearly $100 per night. High season or not, this wasn’t communicated in advance, and there was no willingness to adjust the price once raised. Several other women experienced the same issue, booking the advertised 4-bed dorm and being moved to the 8-bed instead. The 4-bed rooms were occupied by volunteers, while paying guests absorbed the downgrade. I cancelled my stay but still paid $115 for New Year’s Eve, which felt excessive given the conditions. Juan was nice to accept my cancellation but Very disappointing overall, I am not sure why they have such high rating on booking.

No me gustó nada. Está dejado, cosas rotas, sucias. No tienen presión de agua, me fui a bañar y salían tres gotas, lamentable. Cancele la última noche porque no valía la pena quedarse. Tampoco tiene un ambiente interesante. Sin embargo voluntarias son muy amables.
I didn't like it at all. it's abandoned, things are broken, dirty. they have no water pressure, I went to the bathroom and three drops came out, unfortunate. cancel the last night because it wasn't worth staying. it doesn't have an interesting atmosphere either. however volunteers are very friendly.

- The location is very close to the biggest clubs, so noise and music makes it hard to sleep. Also, I heard an animal on the ceiling that sounded like a rodent. Towels on the bathroom didn’t seem clean and weren’t changed during my stay. Also, I stayed at the higher bunk bed is waay to high to receive any AC and Tamarindo gets HOT.

- Der var ikke rent. Der lå gamle flasker i hjørnerne. Der kom mænd uanmeldt ind på stedet, hvilket ville have været ok, hvis det lige blev sagt, og måske hvad formålet var. Det er ærgerligt, det kun er mænd der bestyrer receptionen, det ville være fedt, hvis det var kvindedrevet. Der er mega koldt om natten, fordi gæsterne selv får lov at styre aircondition. Jeg fik et tæppe, hvilket jeg satte meget pris på, men en opfordring til måske at lade personalet styre aircondition. Jeg prøvede at få hjælp til min videre rejse, og der blev givet udtryk for, at det ville man gerne hjælpe mig med, men jeg fik aldrig hjælp.

- La cama de arriba en cucheta que me tocó (la que esta en el hueco entre el pasillo hacia el baño y las otras camas), fue difícil de subir por las escaleras y de aguantar los ruidos de noche por el restaurante que hay.. realmente creo que esa cama no debería estar habilitada. El único baño que hay podría estar mejor organizado. Entiendo que el hostel esta comenzando, o renovándose, así que les deseo lo mejor!
Fortement déconseillée si vous cherchez une auberge propre avec un minimum d'intimité et calme la nuit... Les serviettes sont en option payantes, les lockers sont trop petits pour mettre une valise ou un gros sac et la propreté laissait vraiment à désirer, personne n'est venu nettoyer. Point qui a été le plus négatif extrêmement bruyant car à coté d'un club de nuit et de bars, impossible de dormir même avec boules quies.
Strongly discouraged if you are looking for a clean hostel with a minimum of privacy and quiet at night... Towels are optional for a fee, lockers are too small to put a suitcase or a big bag in and the cleanliness really left something to be desired, no one came to clean.
+ The location was good enough and the bed was clean and mainly comfortable.
- Many things didn't work properly in the room. Im not sure the bathroom door would close if I tried.

Very close to the beach which was nice and there are laundry facilities on site. It's a small and intimate hostel. My main complaint is that the people running the hostel are volunteers, so you won't see any upper management during your stay there, and to a degree, the volunteers themselves are on vacation and act like it. There is a lot of sound pollution and people coming in the room constantly on their phones or talking loudly while others sleep. The staff were kind but not professional.

Decent hostel. Right around the corner from the beach which is amazing. The beds and rooms were very comfortable. Biggest downside is that it’s quite small, if you’d like to hang out & meet others it’s a bit hard due to how small the common area is.

Sehr hilfsbereite Kommunikation über Whatsapp. Super Lage-nur 1min zum Strand und Restaurants/Geschäfte/Busstation auch in der Nähe. Vorhänge am Bett und Spind inkl. Schloss um Wertsachen einzuschliessen. Küche zur Mitbenützung. Kleiner Innenhof mit Küche/Wäscheleine/Sitzmöglichkeiten. Bad war ok, aber es kam ziemlich wenig Wasser aus der Dusche und war ein wenig schmuddelig.
Super location-only 1min to the beach and restaurants/shops/bus station also nearby. curtains am Bett und Spind inkl. Schloss um Wertsachen einzuschließen. kitchen for shared use. smaller inner courtyard with kitchen/Wäscheleine/Sitzplätze. bad was ok, but there was pretty little water coming out of the shower and it was a little dirty.

+ I had a great stay at this hostel. The place is very clean and the housekeeping is done regularly, which makes it really comfortable. The beds have curtains, which gives you more privacy in the dorms. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Juan was especially helpful during my whole stay. He was always available to suggest activities and answer any questions or give information whenever needed. There is also a kitchen with all the equipment you need to cook your own meals, which is great if you like preparing your own food. I also really appreciated that it’s an all-female hostel. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe the entire time. The location is perfect: the beach is only a 1-minute walk away, and there are restaurants and supermarkets less than 5 minutes from the hostel. I definitely recommend this hostel!

+ Assolutamente il miglior posto che puoi trovare in Tamarindo! A pochi passi dalla spiaggia e dal tramonto più bello della costa! Sto pensando di cambiare i miei piani e fermarmi qui da quanto mi piace il posto! Caffè caldo pronto per i miei risvegli mattutini, animali notturni e tante good vibes!

Would’ve extended if they hadn’t been booked out. The location is incredible. Staff, owners, volunteers all super welcoming and accommodating. As it’s only 12 bed total it’s super easy to make friends, especially while hanging out in the open kitchen. Surf shop right next to it is a huge plus too. Definitely recommend.

+ Thank you to the amazing team for making my stay so memorable. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help and make everyone feel at home. The atmosphere was so friendly that I even made new friends during my stay. I would absolutely highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for great people and a great experience :)
