Most things were ok. But the room had to be cooled down by a loud air conditioner. And the atmosphere is not as social as we hoped. The stuff was great.
this hostel is described as calm, should not be a party hostel and is not directly in Huacachina. therefore I was looking forward to a quiet night. the hostel had super loud Music until 1 am even though No tourist was in this area. the food was except of the breakfast not good, the drinks and water expensive and the atmosphere not really relaxed. the bar looks super nice, the reception staff is really friendly and it was clean. there is no room for backpack storage. no restaurants/shops Close by
The hostel is nice - nice pool. 15 minute walk into Huachachina but cheap tuktuk for 5 soles. Quiet at night which is nice. The wine and pisco tour was good and half the price of the hostels in Huachachina. Would not be good for solo travellers or those looking to socialise based off our experience - we were the only people there for three days ! Also got food poisoning from their food unfortunately but the free breakfast is nice.
Positives - staff were great and very attentive - good breakfast Negatives - the room smelled like insect repellant and was very pungent - there weren’t many plugs accessible in the rooms - there was no luggage storage that was secure - no sunbeds or anywhere to sit in the sun next to the pool
El hostal es pequeño pero bonito. Está a unos 20 mil caminando del oasis, pero es afuera. Ofrece los planes clásicos pero a precios muy elevados y no tiene actividades por las noches. Deberían preparar desayunos desde más temprano teniendo en cuenta la hora en la que empiezan los tours. Y la noche que me quedé había un evento en el que entraba gente que no era del hostal, lo que no me pareció muy seguro porque además no dan ninguna identificación para las personas que se están hospeda...
I’m sorry for giving not enough rating to this place. The hostel in general is amazing, very colorful and has a good vibe. The problem is that is not just an hostel but has also a bar/restaurant outside and the music was really really loud until 1:30 am as loud as my bed was vibrating. We couldn’t sleep and we had to wake up early the morning after. It’s fine if someone wants to go party but not if someone is “forced” to do it. Also we had to ask for the toilet paper for 4 times.
Cute little hostel around 15 min walk into the main area of Huacachina. Nice breakfast and good value for money. Nice clean pool and friendly staff would recommend if you are okay with the walk or potentially a 5sol tuk tuk ride.
Really unique vibes! Lots of color, a pool, 2 cats roaming around the outdoor common areas. there's no kitchen for guests to use and there are "decorations" listing menu items from their staff kitchen that have fictitious prices. around a 15 min walk from Huachachina.
The place is great for relaxing and chilling, not for anyone looking to be in huacachina atmosphere. We had three main problems: 1. Do not do laundry here!! Expensive, no folding, took them two days. 2. Rats in the walls / the ceiling makes a lot of noise, other than that pretty clean 3. Shower wasn’t great and a bit stinky. Overall though, the stuff is usually nice, the food is good, and the atmosphere is very chill and quiet. We enjoyed our stay but be aware of the downfall
Chouette hostel,mais situé juste à côté de deux boîtes de nuit, donc tres bruyant la nuit. Nous avons eu un problème lors de notre première nuit et la propriétaire a très bien réagi, nous a changé de chambre et nous a même remboursé la 1ère nuit. Point très positif pour le personnel. Le petit-déjeuner est bon mais basique comme partout au Pérou. Pour ceux pas dérangés par le bruit je recommande. Si vous voulez du calme, mieux vaut aller ailleurs. Il y a un très bon resto/bar ...
We had a problem during our first night and the owner reacted very well, changed us rooms and even reimbursed us for the first night. very positive point for the staff. the breakfast is good but basic as anywhere in Peru. for those not disturbed by noise I recommend. if you want some quiet, you better go elsewhere. there is a very good restaurant/bar next door (Amon amen).

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in South America! Chill vibes, with relaxing atmosphere! Not a party hostel, which is nice to still get rest, while exploring Huacachina, or Inca. Ten minute walk to the Oasis, fifteen minutes to restaurant or grocery store in Inca. shaded, outdoor spaces for relaxing or working, or dip in the pool. Not busy while there,still people to socialize with. Would return and recommend! Checked in early, and stayed in seating till night bus. Hot water shower :)
This hostel is amazing :) It is such a lovely, colorful little oasis. You can tell how much love went into everything there. The staff were also really nice and friendly. We felt very welcome and would definitely come back. Thanks for everything :)

I really loved this hostel, the ambience is amazing in the garden. It is quiet at night and not super busy. The breakfast is also good

Super cozy common space with swimming pool, showers, toilets and even a whole restuarant. Much more peace than in huacachina itself so the short walk is totally worth it. comfy bed and 2 showers for 8 people (luxury)

We stayed in this hostel for 2 days and really enjoyed it! It was really nice vibes, nice and relaxed. The food was great and the outside area was nice to sunbathe in! It’s only a 5 minute tuk to the centre of Huacachina so the location is great.

Nous avons passé un super séjour au Upcycled Hostel ! Tout était réuni pour passer un excellent moment : chambres propres et confortables, douches chaudes, bon emplacement, et surtout un personnel adorable et très arrangeant. ✨ Mention spéciale pour la piscine, le grand espace vert avec plein de coins chill, et le service de bar et restauration, un vrai plus pour se détendre et profiter du lieu sans avoir à bouger. On recommande à 100 % ! 🙌
We had a great stay at Upcycled Hostel ! Everything was put together to have a great time : clean and comfortable rooms, hot showers, good location, and most of all an adorable and very organized staff. ✨ Special mention for the pool, the large green space with plenty of coins chill, and the bar and catering service, a real plus to relax and enjoy the place without having to move. 100% recommended ! %

Great place if you want somewhere quiet to relax and a bit further out from Huacachina but easy to get a tuktuk in. Very nice staff and the food was good would stay again
I really liked the chilled out vibe at Upcycled hostel. Really lovely sofas around which I ended up spending nearly a whole day relaxing on! A 15 min walk away from Huacachina centre. Not a party hostel but really nice friendly people staying there. The staff were really helpful.

Great hostel. I liked the location because it was further away from the noise at night but still close enough. The food is really good. Staff is very nice, we had to take a bus late in the evening and we could store our luggage and chill the entire day at the hostel!
