Mein Zimmer war nicht sauber, es roch nach abgestandener alter und feuchter Luft welche man mit Fenster öffnen nicht rausgebracht hatte. Badezimmer hatte graue Flecken am Vorhang, das Kabel vom Föhn war ebenfalls grau besiedelt. Der Wasserhahn am Lavabo war undicht, sodass es immer auf den Boden getropft hat. Es ist in Ordnung wenn das Zimmer brandneu ist, aber dann muss der verlangte Preis angepasst werden.
My room was not clean, it smelled of stale altar and moist air which had not been taken out with the window open. Bathroom had grey spots on the curtain, the cable from the toilet was also grey-colored. The faucet at the sink was dirty, so it always dropped on the floor. It is in order if the room is brand new, but then the desired price must be adjusted.
Il n’y avait aucun personnel à l’hôtel à mon arrivée! Humide et poussiéreux dans la chambre. C’était, par contre, très tranquille pour dormir et le personnel du lendemain , a essayé de m’aider à réserver un train sur une application. . Ça manque d’accueil et d’info pour les touristes hors France…. En général!
There was no staff at the hotel when I arrived! damp and dusty in the room. it was, however, very quiet to sleep and the staff the next day, tried to help me book a train on an app. it lacks welcome and dinfo for tourists outside France.... in general!
Upgraded myself to a larger room which was very nice. Good quality bed linen
Eine schöne Unterkunft mit kurzem Fußweg zum Meer! Das Zimmer war schön, das eigene Bad bzw Nasszelle war okay. Super freundliches und aufmerksames Personal! Das Continental-Frühstück war hervorragend! Einziges Manko sind die vielen Mücken, die mangels Insektennetz nachts ins Zimmer kommen, wenn das Fenster offen ist. Obwohl es hier „Hotel/Hostel“ ausgezeichnet ist, hat die Unterkunft mehr HotelCharme und so hat man keine anderen Reisenden getroffen, wie im Hostel. Komme gern...
Eine schöne Unterkunft mit kurzem Fußweg zum Meer! The room was beautiful, the private bathroom or Nasszelle was okay. Super friendly and attentive staff! The Continental-Breakfast was excellent! The only drawback is the many mosquitoes, which lack the insect nets come into the room at night, when the window is open. Although it is excellent here Hotel/Hostel, the accommodation has mehr HotelCharme and so you have not met any other travelers, as in the hostel. Please come again.
Lovely hotel, less than a 10-minute walk from the beach. Stayed in a double room, which was equipped with a mini fridge and kettle, so easy to make some tea of coffee. The garden and cafe are lovely. Only downside is the walls are a bit thin so if you have noisy neighbors, you'll definitely hear them.
Our comfortable clean room in this wonderful hotel retained charming details of this former villa located in a perfect location from which to explore the city. The host offered excellent dining recommendations.

I stayed at St. Charles for a week snd it was the ideal base for me as a solo traveler. The villa-hotel is cosy and beautifully located in a green and quiet garden. One can easily walk to the city center snd still have everything necessary next doors (supermarket, boulangerie, laundry, bar and a few restaurants). The nice crew was very welcoming and Romain made sure I habe everything and supplied me with lots of great recommendations. Thank you for being such a great host, Romain! 🙏

Amazing!!!!! Best hostel I have ever stayed in. Fabulous interior design, super clean, terrific location walking distance to the beach and absolutely the nicest/most helpful staff. 10/10 recommend.
