Tagpo Capsule Hostel

Do not stay here! They originally didn't realise I had paid a deposit and tried to charge me the full amount of the stay. The room is behind a flimsy door with no security from the street below. There is only one room with the bunks in and it is nowhere near how it looks in the photos. It is dark and dirty. The bunks weren't clean, had stains on the sheets, and my friend found a live cockroach under his mattress. The common area wasn't very inviting and there is only one toilet and shower per ge...

Hostel minuscule, dortoir étroit et sale, il faut demander au personnel d’allumer l’eau avant de prendre une douche, l’espace commun juxtaposé au dortoir est seulement composé d’une banquette sur un balcon et comme il s’agit d’un coin fumeur tout le dortoir sent la cigarette. L’hostel se situe proche d’un karaoke nocturne et ce n’est pas bien isolé… Le personnel a voulu nous forcer de prendre la croisière Keelooma via eux pour qu’ils touche...

No tienen agua caliente, y no es un hostel muy social

Yen makes the place feel like home. She will help you with anything that she can, always smiling and laughing. If you make an effort you can easily meet people here and the location is good, lovely cafe Lutitia just around the corner too

Yen and Abbie are so lovely! they couldn’t do enough to help us. Great value for the price! Would maybe be better if it was a unisex bathroom so you didn’t have to wait as much, but otherwise great stay💗💗💗

Amazing hostel, hot water, power outlets and lights in your bed area, owner is amazing letting us stay and rest after checkout time due to me being sick, because no one else was checking in. Cute little sitting area out the back of the hostel. Strong wifi !! Definitely will be back in the future

Tagpo is very good value for money! The dorm room is clean and beds comfy. The bathrooms are basic but perfectly adequate for a budget hostel. The lounge area is small but cosy and you get free coffee and water provided. 10 min walk from the main town area and only 18 min walk from the port. There weren’t any other people when we stayed but quite enjoyed the whole dorm to ourselves and we weren’t that concerned about a social atmosphere. The main downside is the street noise. Good for 1 or 2...

Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Inhaberin. Es ist nur ein Dorm mit Badezimmern und einem kleinen Balkon. Ales klein und einfach gehalten. Die Betten sind bequem. Leider liegt das Hostel an der Hauptstraße und es ist sehr laut, da das Gebäude eher hellhörig ist. Kein Social Place.
