The property was great for a short stay in Kandy. Just a short tuk tuk ride into town, yet in a quiet neighbourhood to feel like you're outside of the main city hub. The host was excellent, and communicated well before and during my stay. Their hospitality (although only through WhatsApp) was smooth and easy. The property itself was fine, more of a private room in a house, however I had the place to myself. Only the rooms had A/C which was no problem for me. Overall would recommend!

Really great property! Very clean, really spacious, great views from the balconies, has everything you need. Great location, in a quieter area but within a 25 min walk or less than 10 min tuktuk ride to the centre. Less than that to other restaurants and shops. Duminda was great, really friendly and responsive if needed!

We had a wonderful overnight stay in Kandy at G7. We had the whole apartment to ourselves and the beds were very comfortable with a duvet. Also the airconditioning didn’t make much noise. Also, the host set us up with tuktuk drivers who brought us to different locations in the city for a fair price.

G7 in Kandy is a great spot for travelers looking for a peaceful yet social stay. The location is quiet and relaxing but still close to the main attractions. I must say that after staying in many hostels and home stays around the world I was very impressed with G7. The owner Duminda is a great guy who was always up for a chat and you can tell straight away that he has great hospitality experience. The stay itself was exactly what I was after. A clean and relaxing environment with all the amenities you could ask for. The added kitchen was super helpful when I just wanted to make something myself. I would highly recommend this to all travellers!

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly yet clean and comfy place, this is it! The hostel was spotless, the beds were cozy, and it was surprisingly quiet at night. Plus, it’s so close to cafes, markets, and all the main spots. The staff made me feel right at home. 10/10 would stay again!
