+ The location has so much potential and is overlooking a beautiful, secluded side of the island, but unfortunately the small hut rooms are very far past their prime,& the jungle has taken them(and the entire property) back. The rooms are infested with spiders, wasps, and lizards.

- The small huts are built from single layer wood boards, and tin sheet metal roof - which wouldn’t be a problem if there was any type of sealant/barrier to prevent the infestation of spiders, wasps nests, and lizards from consistently living in & being totally engrained into the bedposts, walls, all corners of the room. You would certainly be better off setting up a tent in the same jungle the huts are located and would have less infestation because the aged huts are already inhabited/infested by only spiders, insects, and lizards year round - while a tent would be starting cleaning/uninhabited from the time you set it up until whenever nature entered the tent. These bungalows are infested year round and then the day before you show up or the morning you arrive, someone sweeps the walls and furniture with a broom to move the bugs, spiders, and lizards which only barely lasts momentarily until they swarm everything again(they will swarm you while you’re in the room or if you use the bed, you will have to make sure to open all your luggage and clothing very carefully to shake out the spiders because the start infesting your luggage the moment you set your stuff down even if you try to hang stuff from the door knob or a nail on the wall, you WILL have spiders in your luggage & packed clothing.

- Pas d airco pas d internet pas de tv pas de piscine mâle situé j ai mi plus d une 1h à trouver l établissement 10min pour arriver à notre bungalow. C étai tellement affreux qu on n avons pas dormis sur place on a du louer un autre logement car c étai impossible de rester là j ai demander un remboursement il va dit que c étai pas possible. Je me demandais pour quoi nous étions les seul à être la mais j ai compris rapidement le pour quoi du comment. J apprécierai un geste de votre par un chèque cadeaux ou un remboursement.

+ Las vistas

- Habia telarañas, bichos en la cama y lavabo, hay gallos sueltos y a las 6 de la mañana empiezan a cantar durante varias horas lo que hace imposible dormir.

- sind direkt wieder abgereist, schwimmen nicht möglich wegen Krebsen, Bad voller Insekten

+ Good location

- Our room was very dirty, i had a stained sheet and my brother had a condom wrapper under his bed. There were also lots of ants in the property. My brother had various animal droppings in his room. Unfortunately my brother and I lost our keys and the manager demanded 800 baht to replace the keys. When we questioned the price since it was very expensive he became aggressive and unprofessional. He escalated the situation by saying he would call the police. He dropped the price down to 500 baht which suggests he wanted to exhort as much money as he could from us. Generally the homestay had a shabby appearance and requires some work to maintain it.

- Very bad energies here, like a horror movie.. This is the first impression.. The bed is terrible.. the mattress is horrible.. an old springy junk shit.. You feel every spring on your body when you lie on it. It's really outrageous that the host would think to put mattres like this in the bungalows. Besides, the toilet in my bungalow doesn't even have a pull-out mechanism. Holes in the house, meaning bugs can come in and out as they want. There is a sign on the wall warning you that the room is not safe... so don't leave valuables things in it… What.. The.. Fuck..? Is it a joke? No, unfortunatelly it isnt.. Anyway, the room was handed over dirty and trashed. And to top it all off, the host and receptionist are rude and jerks.

- -Unsauberes Badezimmer -Unbequemes Bett -Kackerlacken im Zimmer und anderes krabbel Getier -Sehr gefährlicher Weg bis zu Unterkunft, sehr steil , kein Handlauf, keine Beleuchtung

+ Die Aussicht auf die Bucht von Haad Rin.

- Sehr schlecht! Zu allererst - die Anreise ist eine absolute Herausforderung! Ohne Roller oder Taxi ist es super abenteuerlich diese Höhenmeter zu erklimmen. Hat man dies geschafft geht’s durch sehr steile Treppen zur Unterkunft. Die Inhaberin hat das Geld direkt in Bar erhalten wollen ( ich kann mir denken wieso! ). Nach dem Check-In wurde uns das Bungalow auf einer Klippe gezeigt. Der Weg zum Bungalow ist NICHT gesichert!. Das Bungalow selber ist eine Bretterbude auf Stelzen. Uns hat direkt zu Beginn die erste Kakerlake begrüßt. Nachdem wir noch einmal unterwegs zum Abendessen waren und wieder zurück zur Unterkunft kamen ( 21:30 ) War das Zimmer mehr oder weniger voll mit Kakerlaken! Vereinzelt im Bett aber auch im Reisegepäck und Klamotten! Wir haben uns sofort entschieden wieder auszuziehen und eine andere Bleibe zu suchen. Am nächsten morgen haben wir die Inhaberin darauf angesprochen und Sie gebeten uns einen Teil des Geldes zurück zu erstatten. 1 Nacht von 3 haben wir zurück erhalten. Ja das Hotel ist mitten in der Natur und ja das kann passieren. Aber Hand aufs Herz - wer möchte sowas? Für knapp 5000 Baht 3 Nächte 2 Personen. Das geht besser!

- C’est sale, excentré, pas confortable et la sécurité laisse vraiment à désirer. J’ai faillit me casser le dos en tombant avec le hamac qui tenais avec de petites ficelles. A peine arriver dans ma chambre que j’ai décidé de prendre un autre hôtel. Chambre invivable pour ma part.

+ Loooved staying here! Only 15 min walk down to Haad Rin beach and all the bars and restaurants area but up in a hill surrounded by nature. My bungalow was just perfect, beautiful clean room with a really nice private toilet/shower. Amazing balcony views. I have to say that I read a couple of bad reviews after I've booked it and I was quite scared of what I would find but I think some people are just too spoiled.. The place was lovely, I really enjoyed staying there for the 8 nights I booked and I would definitely stay there again :)

- There's nothing I didn't like, i didn't rent a scooter and I still really enjoyed the walk to get there after spending the day down by Haad Rin area.

+ Great bungalow, with lots of space and balcony. There's a mosquito net on the windows which is useful. Free drinking water provided. Surrounded by nature, calm and silent (except the cicadas at dawn - they are very loud!, also you can hear the boats passing) There was a mango tree near the bungalows, always had mangos to pick up from the ground. They also provide many different services, we didn't use them.

- Only cold water in the shower. The lights in the room are not so strong, it's quite dark inside. The stairs leading down to the accommodation aren't the best, and the lights at night don't help too much. It can be dangerous for some people. Without a motorbike it's a bit far from the main parts of Haad Rin, also you have to go up a steep uphill to arrive.

+ When we first arrived, our initial impression was a bit uncertain — we even briefly considered moving somewhere closer to Zen Beach. But very quickly, the place grew on us, and we ended up extending our stay by an extra day 🙂 This really is a little slice of paradise, especially because of its natural beauty. The atmosphere is peaceful, free-spirited, and quite romantic. Most of the guests around us were couples, relaxed and fully enjoying the surroundings, which created a very calm and open vibe. Rin Nai Beach is about an 8-minute walk away, and I’d definitely recommend visiting it. Right next to the property there isn’t a traditional sandy beach, but instead a stunning rocky coastline with large boulders — perfect for some quiet, private sunbathing. I even saw people snorkeling nearby. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. There’s a fun place called “Lighthouse” nearby if you’re in the mood for a night out, and other spots are easily reachable by taxi. The bungalows have a truly authentic charm — ideal if you love nature, a more laid-back lifestyle, or are traveling as a couple.

- Good to know: The area is quite hilly — definitely a bit of a workout, but you get used to it (and your legs will thank you later :) ). Having a scooter would make getting around much easier, especially if you want to explore more of the island. We chose to walk everywhere, which limited how much we could see, but we still got to know the local area really well. Shops are about a 15–20 minute walk away, so it’s good to plan ahead a bit. A few small things to keep in mind: water refills sometimes needed a quick reminder, there’s no fridge, and the air conditioning isn’t very strong — but the cool showers definitely help refresh you. The mattresses are a bit on the older side, though still manageable. At night, you can hear the ocean clearly — for me, it was incredibly calming and added to the whole experience, even if it might take a little getting used to for lighter sleepers.

- Die bungalows stehn auf sehr verfaulten Balken aus Holz und oder beton der sich schon auflöst. Sehr gefährlich

+ The lady who runs this place is absolutely lovely. The view is amazing, lovely, peaceful spot out of the bustle of Hadrin, which is what I wanted. 10-15 min walk to a nice sandy beach. There is a big hill to carry luggage- as described in the info. I didn't mind keeping fit!

- Nowhere to hang clothes. It is a basic hut with no hot water but didn't mind. It can get quite windy on the balcony for sitting out working- things blow away; the headland here is quite weather exposed.

+ Wer Ruhe haben will und den Sonnenaufgang sehen will, kommt hier definitiv auf seine kosten. Man hört nichts, außer das Meer und die, im umliegenden Wald, lebenden Tiere. Riesen Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer inklusive Hängematte.

- Leider kein Warmwasser und etwas unsauberes Badezimmer.

- Honnêtement juste avoir accès a l'accueil est un obstacle en soit ! Ils y a beaucoup de marches de 10 a 20 pouces de hauteur abandonné depuis longtemps et dangereuse. Chaque côté du stationnement semble être le dépotoir du bout de l'île. Le site aurait un potentiel magique mais c'est a l'abandon. Une cabane sur 2 est tombé ou n'est plus possible. Qualité/prix si vous n'êtes pas exigeant ca va mais pour moi plus jamais ! Regarder la photo de l'accueil...ca en dit long Ca vous prend absolument un véhicule car c'est tres reculer

+ Wenn man die Tür aufmacht ist die Sicht in den Wald schön. Uns wurde ein Set Teller, Tassen und Besteck geliehen.

- Wir hatten ein paar ernstes Problem mit der Unterkunft. Erstmal ist der Weg dahin mit schwerem Gepäck schwierig weil es keine Straße gibt zum Hostel. Man muss riesige Stufen laufen. Der Inhaber hat ab unserer Beschwerde heute unsere Stornierung ab morgen bestätigt aber keine weitere Rückerstattung. Heute kam ein Teil der Zimmerdecke runter inklusive Termiten auf unser Bett. Die Kabine ist nicht mehr bewohnbar. Uns wurde eine andere Kabine angeboten die wir aber nicht wollen. Das Personal war vor Ort ab heute sehr unfreundlich und frech und wurde fast habdgreiflich. Ein Streunender Hund lag hier jeden Tag vor unserer Unterkunft und belästigte uns mit gebellt und hat meine Frau heute auch gebissen. Nach Meldung beim Manager (per WhatsApp) über den Zwischenfall hat ein Angestellter den Hund kurz verjagt, dann kam er wieder. Als wir den ersten Tag in die Kabine kamen waren einige Sachen kaputt (Badarmatur) und einiges sehr schmutzig. Nach Meldung wurde es bereinigt. Außerdem waren die Schlafkissen unter dem Bezug mit schwarzen Schimmelflecken überzogen. Einige bauten rundum sind marode und eingefallen. Nachts gibt es Lärm von an der Küste fahrenden Booten. Die Kippfenster könnte man nicht schließen. Eine Schabe im Bett. Überall Mini-Ameisen wenn man kurz was stehen lässt. Kein einziges Regal oder Wandhaken für Kleider. Eigentlich ein ganz süßes schönes Hostel aber leider sehr niedriger Standard. Wir haben zum gleichen Preis in der Nähe was viel besseres bekommen.
