Hidden Island Hostel

Positive: beautiful two-hour boat ride from Tigre, calm surroundings, small supermarket and a restaurant (reservation needed) nearby, volunteers were all very nice people Negative: kitchen was not really clean, it was basically impossible to really wash the dishes for the lack of clean sponges, blankets in the room had some stains on them, shower had no pressure at all and no hot water, no mosquito nets in the windows

I was there for 4 days, it was nice to be away from civilization for a few days. For me it was very relaxing. I can recommend it. I was there where the weather was nice, there are a few activities you can do, but I don't know if you can do that in bad weather. However, there are a few things that can still be improved. 1. Towel and trash can in the rooms 2. Add in the description that you can eat with the staff for an additional charge 3. The bathroom could be a little cleaner and a scent spr...

Lovely rural escape outside of Buenos Aires.

Absolument unique et extraordinaire. Pour le voyageur relax, qui aime sortir des sentiers battus et ne souhaite pas le luxe. Prendre son temps est essentiel pour vraiment apprécier cette oasis sobre, modeste, vraie. Personnel et ambiance formidables.

Amazing place! If you are a person who looks for a getaway from the city, where you can enjoy the calm and beauty of the river delta this is the place for you! Amazing staff and beautiful rooms/common areas. You can use the kayak and the SUP-board as much as you want, and there’s a bar/kiosko just 10 minutes down the river. Guinea pigs and Pigs roam around freely on the Island as well. If you go, you should consult the hostel about the ferry-times first though, as they don’t leave very often...

Great place, great people, great hostel. 10 out of 10. The location is very remote which is great after visiting Buenos Aires. It is truly a special place and the hostel being so small makes it even more special and intimate. Big shout out to Grace for being the sweetest host and best cook.

What a nice place! It’s perfect for escape the rush and trouble of Buenos Aires for while. Good connections with Lokal transportation makes it easy to reach the island. The beautiful nature in the delta gives you even some vibes of the jungle. And that only 2 hours away from Buenos Aires! The really lovely people of the hostel makes your stay perfect.

Incredible experience with Grace & Emilio!!! Fantastic getaway from the crowdy city that Buenos Aires can be. Opportunity to sup, kayak, wakeboard, see the sunset on a boat tour. Would definitely recommand this place! If you don’t want to spend too much money: buy some groceries beforehand ☺️

What a magical spot far out in the nature. beautiful setting, beautiful cabins and pirate-like boardwalk connection between the buildings. self sustained by solar energy, fast internet and a small basic shop down the river where you could go by Kajak :) most importantly the amazing atmosphere and love that the team is putting in. feels like being part of the jungle family. thank you 🙏

amazing hostel with amazing location. perfect if you want to escape the big city or if you are just looking to explore the delta nature. the staff and owner are super nice and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. i totally recommend!
