I don’t understand the good notes. The room is dirty, the facilities aren’t good. It was a really bad experience. I don’t recommend it.

My experience at Roamer was amazing. The staff were super lovely and Beth(the receptionist) was particularly helpful and very warm from the moment I arrived.

the room smelled incredibly mouldy upon entering, the windows don’t open, there’s no fan in the bathroom, and housekeepi came in to clean at 8 in the morning and started crashing around which woke me up. the receptionist also didn’t tell me i had to rent a towel and by the time i realized it was too late and i had to dry off with one of my shirts. also frustrating that they close the kitchen at 10pm for no apparent reason

Bathroom was full of hairs. Had no windows in my room, which was not advertised. Had to eat my Greek yoghurt with a plate and a fork as not enough cutlery or crockery. Friend got beg bugs. Old people stay here. Was not clearly advertised (thought was a youthful hostel)… antisocial

The only good thing about this hostel is the beds. The kitchen was tiny, we couldn’t even fit our food on the shelf so we had to have it on the floor, nonetheless it was dirty and the sponges to wash your dishes was full of food. There was no laundry room and not enough space to hang out. Last but not least the bathroom in our room had mold in it.

The place was clean but the room itself felt like a closet. I thought the bed above me would crash on me. Super small room

Beds were ok but the room was windowless which is definitely not what I expected given the price. Bathroom was modern but not clean. There are no laundry facilities. No duvets or blankets provided, only a sheet so I was freezing all night. Would not recommend.

Staff very unpleasant - when I asked to chat to a manager about these issues I was told there wasn’t one? Kitchen filthy with only one working fridge and it looked like it had never been cleaned. There’s maybe 6 forks for the entire hostel. I highlighted the dirtiness to the cleaner and she walked away from me? No laundry despite the rooms having signs that say laundry services available! Wifi unreliable. I find the lack of communal toilets/showers absurd - only the ones in the rooms. Avoid!...

Stayed here for 3 nights and the room did not look like the pictures. We had an en-suite and the bathroom felt dirty. The kitchen area was tiny and smelled probably due to the fridge not working. There were flies and the kitchen was very dirty. Had very weird vibes from the other guests who were older men was definitely not a backpacker hostel. Nearest laundry was an 15 minute walk. All round a bad experience, would not recommend!

Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Gemütliche Zimmer und Aufenthaltsräume. Gute Lage und tolle Aktivitäten.

Location great, staff very helpful. Free luggage storage available but not very secure. 4 bed en-suite bathroom not been cleaned at all before we arrived. Room very dark and no openable windows. Fan in bathroom didn’t work. Bunk meds metal and very creaky. Kitchen ok, fridges quite full.

Be warned!!!! The photos are misleading, you will not necessarily get a little capsule bed lol there are some rando single beds in the dorms. I booked bc I had an early flight and wanted the capsule and luckily the very kind reception helped me swap but I was super disappointed the rooms aren’t like the photos. Good location to bus for airport.

The shared spaces such as the kitchen and lounge room were very nice and clean also. The rooms themselves seemed refurbished and the beds have individual lockers inside and curtains which is great. A major issue though is the bathroom - we had a 10 person mixed dorm room and there was 1 bathroom which included the toilet and shower. This just simply was not enough. The bathroom was wet, no ventilation, mouldy on the ceiling, and dirty. It appears the hostel has been renovated but not bathrooms.

Es war von Anfang an sehr dreckig obwohl die Zimmer eigentlich gerade geputzt wurden. Die Vorhänge sind voller Flecken genau wie Bettwäsche. Die Klima Anlage läuft dauerhaft durch und man kann die Temperatur nicht beeinflussen. Es war viel zu kalt und gab gleichzeitig nicht mal ne Decke.

Was Okay for a few night. Didn’t like that there was only en-suites and there was no fan in there so it was always hot especially if others had showered before you. Floor also got really slippy and no bath Matt was supplied

Staff were really friendly and helpful. I stayed in a 10 bed dorm which was overcrowded from the get go, no space for any of my luggage expect a small locker inside of the bed itself. Bathroom was filthy and mouldy, 1 toilet and 1 shower for 10 people wasn’t ideal, no other facilities on any of the floors. Communal kitchen was filthy and if you wanted to cook you had to clean someone else’s stuff up.

Great reception staff and good atmosphere. Was so convenient. I will be coming back

Great location, very clean and beautiful room. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The staff is very friendly and easy to talk to, especially Omar at the reception.

so grim icl, the only thing i didn’t mind touching was my bed, everything else just felt dirty. hairs all over the bathroom & just looked grubby, kitchen was infested with fruit flies & there was mold in the fridge and the kitchen smelt so bad. everything else was good tho

This hostel was really comfortable and clean and they had great activities. Especially Omar made us feel right at home when we checked in. He helped us plan our activities and his smile made us feel very welcome

Bathroom in dorm was not great and not a social hostel at all. Beds were fine.

Beds were very comfy and private.

This is the best hostel in Brisbane, comfortable beds, clean rooms (everything here is so clean), suuuper friendly staff, especially Beth, Jonathan and Corey they made me feel like home, everyone here is so welcoming, I would 1000% recommend!

Guests were friendly and the staff were really kind and helpful! Great location and good food in the bar below, as well!

Great stay! The hostel is clean, modern, and has a really friendly atmosphere. The location is perfect for exploring Brisbane, and the staff were helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay again, thank you!!

I would love to give this a higher score but a lot of the common areas (eg lifts & lounge room absolutely stank of cigarette smoke at all times, to the extent I found the rooms unusable). Also there was no window in the kitchen, so when guests cook meat or fish the entire room fills with the smells and is unpleasant. However the rooms were nice & clean, bathrooms clean and very nice staff!

I’m santiago Wow amazing hostel they treat me all the time with respect and kindness the best hostel I stay in brisi I recommend this hostel clean place with a really good restaurant bar in the same hostel you feel like in home thanks so much ❤️🫶🏼🇨🇴🇦🇺
