Destiny Student - Shrubhill

The bed was awful. Didn’t sleep for two nights. Springs in my back. Very hard and uncomfortable. Why have the heating on constant, it was too hot.

We were very disappointed with our stay here. The room was extremely hot and we had to pay a £20 deposit for a fan. The bed was just larger than a single and this was expected to be shared by two people, not enough room. The bed was also super uncomfortable and lots of springs. No towels were provided and you were required to pay £3 per towel. Toiletries were not in the room and had to be collected from reception. The check out was also very early at 10am. Overall I would stay somewhere else.

Everything is a bit shabby and dirty. you could hear everything through the thin walls. I pity the poor students who have to spend their school years inside these prison cells.

The facilities are correct, nothing spectacular, but we payed A LOT because the city was impossible due to a Taylor Swift concert. I imagine that, on a regular basis, this hostel is an affordable option. We booked a double room but it was clearly for a student, so the bed was no wider than 1,05 m. The location is good, no more than 20-25 minutes walking to the city center.

Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich und auch die Lage war gut! Leider hat uns das Zimmer nicht gefallen, da es nicht sehr sauber und das Bett sehr unbequem war, da man die Sprungfedern in der Matratze deutlich spüren konnte. Auch die Ausstattung war nicht gut (es gab keine Klobürste und keinen Mülleimer, den wir auf Nachfrage allerdings erhalten haben).

Overall a fine hostel, but the windows can only open a tiny bit, so the place was really hot. Oure room was out to the big road where the Trams go, so it was very loudly because of the none excited Soundproff windows. The worst part was the bed, the spring in the mattress was bad and we slept very ill. But very nice staff and the hostel was clean.

Je suis déçue. L emplacement est bon . Rien à dire sur Les chambres sauf que j aurais préféré 2 lits plutôt qu un puisque je voyage avec mon fils (19 ans). L emplacement cuisine est parfait. Par contre l auberge n est pas propre. Personne n est venu faire le ménage dans la chambre ni vider les poubelles ou nettoyer les sanitaires alors que nous sommes restés plusieurs jours. Je l ai fait dans la chambre dans la cuisine et le salon chaque jour. Nous sommes allergiques. Problème d ae...

We stayed in one of the studio flats in the halls during the Fringe. Overall it was good - for a studio it's a decent size, and it was very clean. The building also felt safe and was quite quiet at night. It would have been nice to have plates in the kitchen area (we only had three very small bowls), and the mattress was pretty uncomfortable and the pillows were very flat! Our tv also didn't work. But generally everything was fine and it was a good place to stay for the Fringe.

Great location. Lots of complimentary products. En suite room and big stocked kitchen. Great night sleep
