- Die sonst so freundliche Mrs. Lee hat mich genötigt meine Buchung für den 1 Januar zu stornieren. Sie hat das Zimmer auf einer anderen Plattform zum 3 fachen Preis verkauft. Als ich mich weigerte wurde sie frech und aggressiv sagte wenn ich nicht stornieren würde, würde ich umsonst anreisen, Sie hat kein Zimmer frei. Ich habe Booking com eingeschaltet und als ich Sie das nächste Mal sah, hat Sie sich entschuldigt und die Buchung könne bestehen bleiben. Na vielen Dank, hatte mir zwischen zeitlich was anders organisiert. Unmögliches Verhalten! Anstatt sich zu freuen das die Gäste einen weiteren Aufenthalt buchen, Geldgeil und unverschämt.

- 일단 위치가 지도상의 위치와 다르고 골목안쪽으로 한참 들어가야 해서 찾기 힘든대다 간판도 작습니다. 주인인지 직원인지 모르겠으나 엄청 불친절 합니다. 갑자기 비가 쏟아져서 우산좀 빌려 달라 했더니 거의 눕다시피 앉아서 핸드폰만 보고 쳐다도 보지 않습니다. 침대 매트리스는 거의 돌덩이 같고 에어컨 리모컨은 제대로 작동하지 않으며 수업이 엄청 약해요. 에레베이터 내려서 계단을 한층 올라가야 합니다. 밤에는 잠을 자기 힘들 정도로 주변이 시끄럽고 아침 7시부터 청소한다고 문을 마구 두드려서 잠을 깨웁니다.

- We were hopeful that this would be a good stay due to the high ratings, however extra cash that was packed away in our bags was stolen out of our room. This was our first stop on the trip, and was the only place our bags were unattended at any time. We booked a cu chi tunnels tour with the hotel host, so clearly they knew we would be gone for half a day. While we recognize that we absolutely should not have left valuables in the room, we had extra cash in four separate bags and it was all taken. We specifically requested no room cleaning, so no one was permitted to enter our room. The locks on the doors are no better than a bathroom door lock (no deadbolt). Of course, according to the owner no one entered our room and there were no cameras to see if maybe someone else did. We are 100% certain the money was taken during this 2 night stay, so if you stay here don’t make the same mistake that we did and assume your bags will be searched for valuables.

+ Months in advance, I reserved a superior room, elevator accessible, with a balcony. When we arrived, the room was not available and we were put into a smaller room with no balcony. Any requests for a lower price, given the downgrade of the room (about 25% cheaper, according to their own website), were met with a demand to cancel the reservation and pay under the table so as to avoid paying taxes, or to cancel the room and go elsewhere, which I did not want to spend time and energy doing. I wanted to get what I paid for or pay for what I actually got. I understand that many things are negotiated in Vietnam but I thought a hotel room through booking.com would be different. It is not. In the end I paid about $10 more per night than the listed price for the room we got, plus 3% more for using a card so as to have a record of the payment (using a card for a record of the transaction seemed necessary as things felt shifty). If you enjoy haggling and cash payments under the table, this is the hotel for you. It wasn't for me. On a more positive note, the AC and the fridge and the hot water all work, and there were no cockroaches in the room. The location is very good for getting around the main sites of the city. Services offered through the front desk (laundry, taxi) are pricey for the area but convenient.

+ Very nice staff, great location. Seconds from the promenade (tourist street). Close to downtown and shopping areas. Lots of great restaurants around. Night life streets were close by but we were not disturbed by noises at night. Large rooms.

+ What really makes this place special is the people. Ly Kim, in particular, was incredible — tireless, always available, and genuinely caring. Her dedication completely elevated our stay. The hotel itself is simple, but honestly, that’s not what matters here. It’s all about the context and the experience. Located in a vibrant area full of life, local spots, and authentic energy, it offers a real immersion into Vietnamese culture. The room was clean and perfectly adequate. If we return, there’s no doubt — we would stay here again.

- The only small downside would be the sound insulation, which could be improved given the lively surroundings — but that’s also part of the experience in this kind of location.

- Toute petite fenêtre qui laisse passer peu de lumière naturelle, et on entendait un peu le bruit nocturne, même si ça n'a pas été trop dérangeant.

+ The receptionist Lee was super friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and it was in a good location. Would definitely stay again!

- Dlho sme cakali na to kym sme dostali izbu

+ Sehr nahe an der Party Meile und trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. In der Straße fahren keine Autos oder großartig Roller. Wir hatten ein Zimmer nicht zur Straßenseite und es war sehr leise. Die Möbel sehen alle etwas älter aus aber alles ist gepflegt und sauber. Und die Besitzern ist Gold sie ist so lieb, nett und hilfsbereit sowas habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gesehen.
