Saranda Boutique Hostel

The design of the bunk beds is a problem. There is nothing to grasp onto when you come down. I slid down and my buttons on my pajama top got stuck on a rung, they popped off and my top ripped. Last night a woman on the top bunk fell coming down and hit the tile floor hard. Today she was on her way to the hospital to get a shoulder xray. She was sure it was broken because she couldn’t move her arm. Get a bottom bunk if you go!

Amazing view from the hostel but a trek to get up there from city center. Pretty basic other than that but nice and clean

Super dortoir de 8 femmes avec une belle vue sur Saranda (qu'il faut mériter pour arriver jusqu'à l'hostal). Les lits sont confortables avec rideaux, prises et portants. Grands casiers qui ferment à clé et salle de bain pour le dortoir avec une grande douche et eau chaude. Nous avons pu faire 2 machines à laver pour nous 3 ce qui a été bien utile pour le reste de notre voyage. On recommande !

L’établissement n’est pas très près du centre (20 minutes à pieds mais très très abrupte à Sarandë). Par contre, la proprio nous a vraiment aidé avec le stationnement de notre voiture!! Nous la remercions énormément. L’ambiance n’était pas très festive, c’est un hostel plus relax mais c’est parfait aussi. Les chambres sont très lumineuses, il fait clair rapidement le matin. Les lits sont très confortable et air climatisé très fonctionnel!!

the staff were nice, it is a hikeeee to get to the hostel though which on the other hand does offer a nice view. i wouldn’t say it’s a very social hostel or somewhere to make friends

Super kind staff - they gave us a free bottle of wine and were very friendly. It is a little walk from the beach but ask the reception there are secret stairs not on google maps so it should take about 9 mins. Good kitchen.

Very clean hostel, great to sleep in. Youre not allowed to be loud in the hostel at all, so might go to another if you wanna party

Loved the filtered drinking water and the kitchen facilities. The views were amazing but it was hard walking up the steep hill to the hostel every day. The aircon didn't work the first night but it was quickly fixed for the second night. I was on the top bunk and I could feel everyone moving around. It shaked when people were in the room moving or if a door was closed downstairs. The bathroom door was really squeaky and I'm a light sleeper so I woke up every time someone used the bathroom.

Nice hostel if you just want to sleep, not much going on other than that, social area is a bit lacklustre . Staff are great

I have visited many countries and stayed in different hostels, but this one is one of the best. Very neat, clean, and comfortable place with a beautiful sea view from the balcony. The owner is very friendly and cooperative, and the location is perfect — beach, port, restaurants, and shops are all nearby. Highly recommended! 😊

Very clean and very quiet. Shower is hot and bathroom is good. Beds are very comfortable. A bit of a walk to beach but ok. The simple addition of cushions in the common area would give it more inviting and friendly atmosphere.

I loved it here! the rooms are clean, with amazing views over the city and sea. every room has their own bathroom. the staff is lovely, and they agreed to store my baggage for a couple of days which was convenient. thanks!

Gorgeous, modern and clean hostel. Beds were so comfy and the showers/ toilets were some of the best we’ve seen on our gap year. Big kitchen and access to a washing machine and clothes line which was great. Hostel is up a big big hill but the views are great.

One of the best hostel that you can stay in, everything as described, highly recommended for travel/working people , great area to work , the owner Farid is a great person

Staff was friendly, rooms were comfortable, and the view is incredible. The kitchen and common area is great and the balcony with the view is gorgeous. Very nice vibe and met some great people here!

This was a very clean hostel, obviously just a hike to get to it. The views were very nice and the host gave me a short cut to get down to the public beach. The filtered water was a very nice touch.

Great Hostel, felt very safe in female dorm, you can walk to the beach, supermarket close by, great view, you could do your laundry, very clean, owner super friendly, kitchen in good state. Would definetly recommend! AC in rooms. Great shower and facilities, lockers in the room, curtains on the beds for privacy! Nice balkony with awesome view.

Supersociaal hostel met aardig personeel, schone dorms en badkamer, gratis water en gratis wassen (je betaalt alleen 100 lek voor het wasmiddel). Leuke plek en prima. Ligt wel boven op de heuvel dus tussen het strand en hostel moet je rekening houden met 15min stijl klimmen en trappen.

Free laundry! AC! Curtains on bed (the only think to improve would be making them dark instead of white), clean bathrooms with TP! Free towel! Family run! Great place for a calm, quiet stay

The boutique hostel was a great hostel when it comes to facilities. There were enough bathrooms, which were clean and tidy as were the beds and rooms. There was a big locker for every bed to store your stuff and the modern kitchen was full of cooking utensils. They even had filtered water, which is a must in Albania since you cannot drink the tap water. Loved it!! Best hostel on our trip in Albania. There was AC, curtains, lockers, clean bathrooms, kitchen, free laundry (1€ for soap), and a porch with great views. Grocery was just across the street with easy walks to the beach and monastery of 40 saints (unbeatable sunset spot!!).
