Gravitas Hostel

Comfortable beds, good location close to the port however there are 2 female toilet cubicles and 2 female shower cubicles to be shared amongst the entire hostel. Hostel capacity is roughly 40 people between 2 large rooms, expect to kept up all night due to the vast number of people sharing the rooms and staff checking people in loudly at all hours, turning on the lights each time. There is also no ventilation in this accommodation, rooms constantly smelled

Not really a nice hostel for the price we paid. It was too expensive and didn’t even come with like shampoo and stuff. Towel provided was so small. No privacy in bathrooms or rooms. Showers are blurred but still see through. If you’re a modest person not the best place for showers. You have to change in a changing room. No curtains. Night lights super bright. Location of this hostel is aamzing. Good wifi and super clean! Good storage facilities and curtains on the bunks make for good privacy. Expensive for what it is though. €55 a night for an 18 bed shared dorm is not ideal but it is August in Split! Staff were very kind and helpful.

La cuisine était minuscule. Personnelle sociale et très amicale. Serviette minuscule et salle de bain mal configuré (manque d’intimité).

I got bed bugs from this place. The room was clean but the bathroom was so-so. It was a common bathroom with glass shower doors… so everyone could see you shower. The ladies at reception were nice though.

Hostel was reasonable clean, but not ideal for Solo Travellers. Common round could be better not the easiest place for meeting people and and a bit overpriced (Probably also because after ultra)

Das Hostel ist zwar sauber und die Mitarbeitenden sehr freundlich, die Ausstattungund Atmosphäre lässt aber wirklich zu wünschen übrig. Keine Küche, kein Aufenthaltsraum außer das Sofa und ein paar Barhocker im Eingangsbereich. Für Solo backbacker definitiv nicht zu empfehlen. Es wurde wenig gesprochen, gab keine von Hostel initiierten Aktivitäten und auch nicht die Räumlichkeiten dafür.

Firstly I was extremely impressed with how quiet it was for a 22 bed room, curtains made it plenty private enough as well. Could have done with a bigger social area as a sofa by the door doesn't really encourage interactions.

Habitación cómoda pese a ser muy compartida. El restoz el hostel tiene 0 ambiente ya que no tiene zona comun, más que el lobby de la entrada. Los baños son muy chicos e incómodos

Das Hostel ist wirklich sauber, das Personal freundlich und es gibt ausreichend große Schließfächer. Man bekommt außerdem auch ein Handtuch.

Great hostel with the perfect mix of social and chill. Staff and owner are all amazing people and are very interactive with guests needs and also hosting events. I only booked for 2 days and extended my stay because of the vibes. Make gravitas your next stay, you won’t regret it.

Simple. The best experience I had at a hostel. Boris is the man.

Honestly one of if not the best hostel I’ve gone to. Overall facilities top class - subtle things like the iron went a long way. Borris had really good recommendations so ask if unsure on what to do. Was lucky enough to meet some dope people so that made it even better. If you wanna enjoy yourself in Split run up Gravitas

Amazing stay at this hostel, super clean and really comfortable beds, very practical with privacy curtains, changing room, social area and kitchenette. I had the best nights sleep! Boris is a legend and super helpful, I made so many good friends here! Will be returning

We only stayed one night, but it was a great hostel. It's clean, well maintained, and the atmosphere is great. Rooms were well sized for how many beds are in them. Showers were hot. Common area has a complimentary coffee/tea station which is a nice touch. Great location while still being on a quiet street.

Super hôtel, propre, spacieux, bien situé. Lits confortables, intimité protégée par petits rideaux, lampe perso pour lire. Personnel disponible et de bon conseil

Female solo traveler here & this place was exactly what I needed. The location was perfect, easy walk to the center and or bus stop. The breakfast is no longer included but there is coffee shops right around the corner. Boris at the front desk was very helpful with dining recommendations & excursions. I had a cancellation & he was quick to recommend an alternative which was water rafting. It ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. Will be back soon!

I booked my stay in 18 people mixed dorm. The beds are super comfortable. The rooms and the facilities are super clean. The bed has curtains which makes you feel like you’ve got your private place. During my stay the room was only half occupied so did not experience any issues.

Enjoyed for a quick one night stay. Not social in my experience, but the staff was very friendly! the curtains on the beds, and little shelves are much appreciated. Would stay again!

I had an extremely good sleep at this hostel. Not an overtly social hostel However as a place to sleep and reset it really doesnt get much better. Great and I mmean great bed setups with surround curtains plugs and lights and a pull out lockers for bags. Good showers and toilets and helpful staff. A well needed reset from crazy hostels.

Boris was excellent and very helpful, the hostel is clean with good shower room facilities and teas/coffees available. Rooms are big and can disrupt sleep with people coming in and out, but you get your own space with curtain, light and plug.

Excellent customer service when first arrived at hostel , smile, a buzz about the place, really easy to ask for directions and what do each day. One one minus the door noice before 8am is not ideal but understandable

i love this hostel. it's very neat and clean. the location is great and walkable to all the must see places in Split. Boris has tie ups with local tour organizations so you get a good discount. I was in a 22 person room but it didn't feel like it. Everyone was quiet and respectful.

decent for a short stay, not much of a communal space. everything was clean and comfortable.

Incredible facility, beds and rooms were very clean, both receptionists(Daria and Vanessa) were extremely kind and helpful, I felt very welcomed as it was the easiest thing ever to make friends at the lobby and the owner Boris is the MAN we actually ended up going wakeboarding with him one day 10/10 will come back.

Good location in Split, dorms are laid out well and you wouldn’t think there were 22 beds in the one room. Comfortable bunks with curtains and huge lockers. Vanessa is such a friendly member of staff. Bathrooms are super small, and there aren’t really any social vibes in the hostel. It’s perfect if you are looking for a clean hostel and some quiet time for a day or two, but not if you are looking to make friends to party with. Nice hostel. Clean and calm. Not the biggest common area and “kitchen”. Two showers where enough. They were always free when I wanted to take a shower. Not the most social hostel. Thinks it’s depends a lot on the people. Nice and helpful staff!
