Zen Nest Hotel

- When I checked in, there were no towels or toilet paper in the room, and the check-out time was said to be faster than indicated in the description.

+ Food in breakfast was very poor and not taste at all, same dishes everyday

- Internet all the time very slow and if anyone wants to work from hotel not possible because it’s too slow even Microsoft Teams meeting does not work due to slowness and frequent disconnect

+ Was a decent property that looks nice and is well decorated .

- Its location is close to Durbar Square but is also just off a busy busy street. Staff were helpful as long as you could line their pockets. While they seem polite, they ripped us off with a “deal” that they made money from at the expense of the customer. Be aware that they will do this without question. Zero integrity.

- I asked for 1 Queen bed before my arrival through message on booking.com. They said will provide. Upon my arrival that almost midnight, teh gave 2 bed that combine into 1 bed. Next morning I asked the staff to change it; they tried to change it but still they just move my room with same bed, 2 bed become 1! The manager seems don’t want to talk with me as her customer, she always speak to the staff and the staff speak to me, what kind of hospitality is this even I right in front of her in reception table? Good Location, Good Value but worst Service :)

- Le petit déjeuner inclus n’est pas très varié, très basique. Le prix est cher pour ce que c’est.

- I didn't like the location being a bit inside and the food, which didn’t seem very appealing to us.

+ Mila is echt een fantastisch hotel met een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. De bedden zijn hemels, de kamers erg comfortabel en zeer proper, het personeel erg gastvrij en altijd bereid om te helpen, de ligging zeer centraal (Thamel) maar toch in een rustige zijstraat. Het is niet voor niets mijn vaste hub geworden wanneer ik in Kathmandu ben.

+ Lage war top, nahe Thamel. Es war eine Oase im hektischen Kathmandu mit sehr hilfsbereiten und tollen Personal. Tolle Zimmer.

+ Room was clean and comfortable. Staff are professional, sweet and attentive. Also very helpful. Hotel is in the middle of Durbar Square and Thamel which is convenient

- Would be good if there was a shower cubicle not just a shower curtain as the tiles get wet and rug gets soaked. The soap and bodywash werent a great smell

+ Dit is echt een tophotel binnen zijn categorie. Het personeel is uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam, je zit vlakbij talrijke winkeltjes en restaurantjes maar toch in een rustig (zij)straatje. De kamers alsook de rest van het hotel zijn erg comfortabel ingericht en zijn kraakproper en het eten is eveneens erg goed. Kort samengevat: een top hotel middenin Kathmandu, op (korte) loopafstand van de bezienswaardigheden!

+ Location, comfortable bed, nice breakfast, pleasant staff

- Room not cleaned for duration of stay / later found out I had to put a sign on door asking for room to be cleaned otherwise it doesn’t get cleaned (wasn’t told this). Staff ran out of local money for currency exchange during my stay. Roof bar not always staffed in evening due to staff shortage.

+ Firstly, the hotel is in a great location. It's within walking distance of the Thamel area and not far from the Monkey Temple. Secondly, my experience was extremely positive. The manager, Arisha, and her staff went above and beyond to help me with planning my day trips and even called me up when I didn't wake up on time for breakfast. I was also happy with the hot water flow and strong WiFi. The rooftop bar is a good touch as well.

- I have no serious complaints. Just a few suggestions and things that can be easily improved in the future. The bed was only OK because they use old cotton mattresses, not the modern ones with springs. The breakfast was also just OK. I would have liked more options. Also, adding a decent fitness room can make this hotel truly amazing. But this is not a 5-star hotel, so none of these issues are dealbreakers. I'll be back for sure!

+ The staff are polite, the facilities are clean with hot water, and the location is excellent. It is a wonderful hotel with nothing to complain about.
