BIKA Hostel and Dorm

The toilets weren’t cleaned and had no toilet paper. Couldn’t lock the rooms and had nowhere to store luggage so it was just left on the floor. The roof of my upper bunk had mould on it, as well as some on the mattress sheet. I had a very strange interaction with the receptionist after getting my laundry back where she made a comment about me, and getting my laundry back was a challenge, as there wasn’t often someone on reception.

This property is absolutely fine for a budget option. There is no lockers or space to store your bags/valuables, the WiFi is quite bad I had to use my own data, the shower was cold, laundry was available however you had to do it yourself and it was about a 30 minute walk from the centre of town. The staff were nice & the beds were quite big for a dorm.

You get what you pay for, we stayed in a private room for less than 5€/night so definitely a budget option! So big bonus for that, and the staff were very generous and let us check in early, which is very highly appreciated!! Otherwise, the room smelled really weird and bad, and it made my partner feel weird. The doors were overall non-existent; you could hear almost everything from other rooms. Not the best place I’ve stayed; I would probably not stay again, but it's very cheap.

Great value for money, if you don’t mind a dirty bathroom it’s good. The beds are large and comfortable although towels weren’t given upon check in when included, it took 2-3 days to get toilet paper in the rooms and over the 7 night stay the bathroom wasn’t cleaned once.. black mould around the sinks and the drain was clogged with hair. Unfortunately staff were barely there too. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Loved my stay here! The area feels really local with friendly neighbors around, and there’s even one of the most beautiful churches in Da Lat just a short walk away. Lots of tasty local food spots nearby too. The hostel has everything you need – kitchen, BBQ grill, comfy rooms, and all the basics covered. It’s not far from the city center but way quieter than other places, which made it super relaxing. I enjoyed it so much that I actually stayed here for quite a long time during my trip....

The staff and the owner of the establishment are really very professional and very attentive to the expectations of customers. Don't hesitate to go there with your eyes closed. The location is ideal, very close to the outdoor market and lots of shops nearby.
