You dont get breakfast so too expensive, also they don’t clean the showers often

We stayed here for four nights and never once saw the rooms or showers being cleaned. Everything was very dirty, which is completely unacceptable considering the price we paid.

I honestly don’t understand the high rating of this hostel. It was one of the worst places I stayed in Southeast Asia. I stayed three nights and the room was never cleaned (floor, shower, sink). The mattress was extremely hard, like sleeping on concrete. Also, there was no one for check-in when I arrived and I had to wait about 40 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We left our stay early. The mattresses are so hard that they left bruises on my hips!! The room does not lock at all and is accessible to anyone from the street via the cafe. I’m sure this place is fine for one or two night if you plan to get very drunk, but sleeping here is not possible sober. The reviews say this is a good place if you want a quiet hostel, but it is right next to the clubs that you can hear all night. The only redeeming feature was that the owner was nice and kind.

This place sucked. Stayed there 5 days and they only cleaned the bathroom once. The sink was disgusting, as was the shower. They never cleaned the floors at all which were covered in sand and hair. The bed was hard as a rock. The room is tiny/bags don’t fit in the lockers so it gets crammed with everyone’s stuff. The priority is clearly in running the cafe downstairs, the hostel is an afterthought. The breakfast and the location are the only nice features.

Location is really good. You get a free breakfast down at the cafee, wich is really good quality. Staff is nice but the hostel feels more like a cafee with rooms. There are no hangout spots, not even a reception . So it is not really social. There are a lot of strict rules as well like just one person per bed (not good for couples) and a fee when you leave „women’s blud“ on the sheets?!

Solid hostel, you get what you pay for! Beds were rock solid and the lockers weren’t big enough to put my big luggage in but the breakfast was great, staff were so friendly and the location was fab so worth the money

great place if you need a break from the partying! definitely no social opportunity at all, which is just what i was looking for. incredibly clean and comfortable beds with kind staff!

I loved my stay at Mari! I was here to dive so I wanted something in the center, quiet, and not too social and Mari was all of those things. The staff were wonderful and the property was clean. I will stay here again!

Book here if you don’t want party mode just dive and eat .i love this so much.

Amazing location easy for eat drink and dive (but only 10 beds no party but love how they treat.

Not a very social hostel as most people are staying here for their diving course but I was able to make friends with the girls in my room. The room and shower was very clean, the bed was a bit hard but nothing I couldnt deal with. The staff were super nice and the location was very central. The food downstairs was amazing! Would definitely return and recommend!

Excellent stay for those who are not looking for a social hostel. Rooms are clean, bathroom and shower rooms were clean as well. Access after hours using a key card which was nice. Amazing location being close to Sairee beach and many restaurants. Owners were also very kind and helpful during check in process. Will definitely stay again when returning to the island!

Nice, clean room. The included breakfast in the cafe down stairs is really great! Staff were very helpful and provided free transport from the pier.

Amazing breakfast included (all day - Perfect for divers) Perfect Location at sairee Beach, room spacious with Little Balcony and Space to dry things. Stuff so Friendly as well :) Not very Social, but a Perfect retreat. Just the matress very very Hard 😅
