Lanta Hostel

Nie wieder. Das Zimmer: ultra klein, kein Fenster, harte Matratze, kein Vorhang, kein Mülleimer. Badezimmer total ekelig. Besitzer: er war sehr kontrollierend. Kam zu jeder Zeit ohne zu klopfen in dein Zimmer. Selbst wenn man noch geschlafen hat kam er einfach rein, machte das Licht an und fegte. Wenn man morgens die Tür öffnen wollte um zu lüften, schob er die Tür wieder zu. In diesem Hostel ist es unfassbar schmutzig. Nie wieder würde ich wieder dahin - nicht mal für Gels.

The toilets were disgustingly dirty, bins overflown, toilet seat broken, shower blocked, the floors very dirty. The room didn't have a window, so it smelt of sweat day and night. The room door was broken, and remained broken when confronted the lady at the reception, she was extremely rude.

Sanitäre Anlagen stinken und sind nicht sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlage darf nur von 5pm bis 10ambenutzt werden. Unser Zimmer hatte kein Fenster was die Luft sehr schlecht hat werden lassen

Beds and mattresses were nice but rooms were too small, lockers were small and weren't working properly. Its a calm place. Cheap. Worst thing was the hygiene, specially in the bathroom, you can sense the urine right before you enter it, nails and hair all over, stayed there 2 days and they haven't cleaned it once.

Positivo: cama confortável, cacifo, pequeno almoço, bom ar condicionado. Negativo: Cama sem cortinado, casa de banho não foi limpa nos dois dias em que lá estive

The location wasn’t bad I’d recommend getting a scooter to go the busier areas and markets that way you can explore Lanta. Not a social hostel either

The service was really good, the two owners go to great lengths and help with everything! Overall, it was a good hostel, only the beds could be more comfortable.

Maybe not the best hostel I’ve stayed at. The owners are very friendly, but the rooms are quite small and have no windows. The showers didn’t smell very good. There’s no real common area, so not much of a social atmosphere. The hostel — and especially the terrace — overlooks the main road of Koh Lanta, which makes it quite noisy.

Die Lage des Hostels ist super, direkt am Strand und 7/11 3min zu Fuß genau so wie Restaurants etc., Man kann direkt Ausflüge und Transfer im Hostel buchen und Schnorchel ausleihen Allerdings fand ich die Unterkunft leider nicht so sauber (besonders im Bad) und die duschen hatten z.T. keinen Duschstrahl, wodurch man sich kaum die Haare waschen konnte

Bed rooms were kept clean and so were bathrooms however there was an odd wee smell in one of the showers eve though they were cleaned every morning, the owners were lovely and very helpful with laundry and a taxi service, there’s no curtains on beds and the aircon is taken at 10am but given back at 5pm which was a little annoying if you were asleep or really hot during the day, lovely location but need a tuk tuk/taxi to get around. Around a 5 min walk from the beach. Would defo recommend!

It wasn’t social but its good location further out from the busier areas but still has a beach and restaurants within walking distance! Staff really helpful and place is clean.

Lovely place with lovely owners. Extremely helpful and kind! The location is great, close to several beaches (look up tricky trocky beach, hidden gem), convenience stores and restaurants. Will definitely come back next time!

One of the worst hostels

A wonderful hostel run by an incredibly kind family! Not very social but with comfortable beds and good showers. In Koh Lanta, you'll need to rent a scooter anyway to get around the island, so the location is very good. You can walk to Klong Khong Beach, and there are many restaurants, a 7-Eleven, and some scooter rental places nearby.

I ended up staying 2 weeks just because Maggie and Tam look after you so well. They are extended family now and I shall be back!

Es war sehr angenehm ruhig, das Personal war super. Rollenverleih direkt gegenüber. Nur das Baht hatte meist einen recht muffigen Geruch

When I was there two people lost their shoes ? Rock hard beds, shower was cold. Could stay again tho.

I loved this hostel! The location was good and close to the beach, but since the island is very big you would still need a scooter. It’s a very social hostel and I met so nice people there! Everyone hangs out in the common areas. Staff were lovely and so so nice. Unfortunately my shoes got stolen by another guest , and the staff helped me search and checked all the cameras for me. Only minus : no curtains in the dorm

Staff were so lovely, very accommodating and overall made me feel at home. The bathrooms and rooms are always kept very clean and having separate men’s and women’s bathrooms was very nice. Highly recommend this hostel !!

alles super und sehr sauber. In unserem Zimmer gab es an den Betten leider keine Vorhänge, sonst war alles gut.

No curtains in the beda but no complaints orker than that, very nice staff and quiet hostel
