Great location, "hostel" in a hotel therefore not built for having dormitories (bathrooms with no doors, bad soundproofing, ...) but works for a short stay (eg. going to Alishan)
Terrible smell in common area and room - very hard and uncomfortable bed. I cut a 2 nights stay into 1 and found another place.
Facilities were fine, very hotel like. You had to make your own bed which I thought was odd considering the price. Mostly Taiwanese families and working people staying here. No social atmosphere, but conveniently located and clean, nothing more than that.
On the surface a very nice hostel if you can stand the smell. For some reason the 2nd floor and the room I was in smelled awful and after leaving all my clothes smell now too so I have to wash them all.
I had to get another bed as the original bed they gave me there was heaps of dust behind the bed. they make you put the bed sheets on ththe bed yourself. so before you book make sure you know this. other than that the staff were really friendly and attentive. They were willing to help me with my issues.
Place is clean but the room I was staying had a moldy smell. The bad is not comfortable at all and there is no sound proofing windows.

Ist ein Hotel, deshalb mehr Hotel als Hostel Atmosphäre. Für eine Nacht war ich sehr zufrieden, vor allem, weil es sehr sauber war. Ich fand’s aber einfach lästig, dass man selbst das Bett beziehen musste und auch wieder abziehen musste und wegbringen musste. Auch dass man für ein Handtuch bezahlen muss finde ich sehr merkwürdig für so ein Hotel.
For one night I was very satisfied, especially because it was very clean. but I find it just annoying that you had to bring the bed yourself and also have to take it off and take it away. also that you have to pay for a towel I find it very strange for such a hotel.
A very strange place indeed. It felt like a hotel had been converted to a hostel. Lockers outside the room. And you had to put sheets on yourself and then take them off to checkout. It was a fine place to stay just weird
Only needed for a bee for the night while moving between Alishan and Taipei. Served the purpose as just a bed for the night and somewhere to eat. Nothing special. Have to make your own bed which is pretty inconvenient, particularly if you’re checking in late in the dark and lazy in my opinion.

La atención fue muy buena, me permitieron dejar el equipaje antes del chec-in.La habitación olía un poco a humedad pero todo estaba limpio.
The service was very good, they allowed me to leave my luggage before check-in.The room smelled a little damp but everything was clean.
All the amenities of a hostel, with the cleanliness and services of a hotel. It’s a great deal and super central in Chiayi, right next to the central plaza. Grab a cold drink, sit out on the deck, and listen to the locals sing karaoke in the park early in the evening!

Nice staff and very clean place. Nice facilities especially the common area and very central.

It is possible to check-in also at a later time. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a locker where you can store your belongings, the other equipment was also nice. The only thing that would have been nice is if there were tissues or hand dryer in every restroom. Overall, a nice place to stay for a few days.

a hostel with 4*star hotel character. everything is great from the check-in, the bed with the discretion curtain, the showers (large and high quality) to the kitchen (excellently equipped), everything is super modern (rooms and living rooms) and above all really clean. only a small catch: if you only expect a little bit of socializing, you bite on granite. my personal downer: extending on site is 30% more expensive than via the hostel app. but that spoils the impression only slightly. Love their hostel unit I only noticed from the main information desk On the ground floor, this is the only Orange hotel in Taiwan has the Hostel unit. Excellent value, great location, excellent hostel facilities, comfortable bed….. met a French photographer in the living room of the Hostel, he also enjoyed so much of his entire stay. Do hope all the Orange hotels in Taiwan to add the Hostel unit in the not too distance future. Thank you
this was a hotel that has a hostel floor. Nice and clean. NNot a regular hostel homey feeling,but a hotel. the staff were very friendly. Judy was extremely helpful.
