Candileja by Origen Hostel

Great hostel ruined by volunteer who asked if i wanted to go on a hike with a few another and after demanded that i pay 120,000 pesos. What a joke ruined my time here as i then felt the whole hostel was in on taking money off backpackers. If not the hostel has to stop his man it was a complete and utter joke. For me it was a lot of money so disappointed. STOP THIS MAN and if u go do not accept invites to (hikes) do it all yourself or find a real guide!

Die Lage ist ziemlich perfekt! Aber die Zimmer haben sehr wenig bis keine frische Luft und es riecht in den Zimmern leider etwas gammelig und die Luft ist sehr schlecht.

Stayed for a night but couldn't sleep the entire night because of bed bugs. Got bitten all over, was very frustrating. Also the room was very stuffy and no fans in the room. Location was perfect though.

hostel is good location and has a very good kitchen but pets are allowed and dogs can bark into the night, and rooms are in front of kitchen and loud tv, we had a very noisy stay

Personal suuuper freundlich, Lage top. Sauberkeit okay. Wir hatten das Hostel nicht als sehr sozial erlebt, mag aber Pech gewesen sein. Den angepriesenen Kaffee gab es leider nicht - eine Lösung wurde aber sofort angepackt. Ganz großes Lob an das Personal!

We had beg bugs !! Can happen but the staff didn’t really take it serious. So if you go there, make sure to deeply check your sheets and mattress.

Bon hostel au cœur de Jardin, staff accueillant et aidant ! L’auberge est également très propre et le lit très très confortable. Malheureusement quand j’y étais il n’y avait personne et aucune activité

The location was great and the staff amazing. They gave us tons of preparations and had a little boom with things to do prepared. I appreciate that there was a free towel. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in was smelly (mould?) and the lockers are very small. Generally, I feel like it could need some renovations here and there.

Cute hostel in Jardin, friendly staff and full kitchen for guests to use. Comfy and clean rooms and there's a little terrace with a hammock, also lots of books and yoga mats too.

This hostel was perfect for my stay in Jardin! I ended up staying for a week because I got sick and the staff were so lovely to me and helpful.

Hele grote keuken en mooi in t dorpje gelegen. Er werd alleen niet elke dag de badkamer schoongemaakt, wat in een dorm wel zo fijn is.

Muy bello lugar, buenas camas, privado, tranquilo, muy limpio, buenos espacios sociales, equipo muy amable. Recomendado!

Really lovely hostel, great location, the staff are really helpful, there is an activities book and helpful maps for local walks, great kitchen, comfy beds. All in all, really glad I stayed here.

Tout a été parfait ! Notre hostel préféré depuis 1 mois de voyage en Colombie. Calme, les chambres sont bien dans le noir, la cuisine est très bien équipée et l’eau des douches est chaude ! Vraiment parfait

Amazing and welcoming place to stay in Jardin !! I cannot recommend this place more. From the extremely friendly staff to the convenient location and cheap prices this place has it all. Not to mention the best part princess (the hostels dog) literally guided us on hikes around the city like a professional !!

Loved this hostel! Nice clean spacious. Beds have curtains light and outlets. Lockers. Equipped kitchen. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Lovely little hostel, very quiet and not the most social but that didn’t bother us. Clean, friendly staff and such a sweet dog (Princesa)!

Sympa bien situé très pratique seul bémol la cuisine très bien mais toutes la vaisselles et ustensiles sont très sales, les lits lorsqu’une personne bouge tout le monde bouge, il n’y a pas de sécurité aux chambres tout le monde peut rentrer tout le temps dans l’auberge et les chambres

We had a lovely stay here! Milo is super great and made us feel right at home. They have 2 lovely dogs and free coffee in the morning. The rooms were very clean with fresh towels and soap. The kitchen is well equipped and the common area is comfy to read when it rains (as it often does). The location is perfect, less than 5 minutes to the main square and the staff are always happy to help you with booking tours or recommendations. Thank you so much - I hope we will be back!

Had a great time here! The hostel was in a good location, friendly staff, nice kitchen and there’s a very cute dog in the hostel!! Good value for money & right in the center of town.

I loved this hostel. I was supposed to stay 2-3 nights and ended up staying 5 (and almost more). Jardin is a special place and this hostel does a great job of explaining all the activities in the area. It’s a cozy hostel and I liked the beds and the common areas a lot. As for atmosphere, it’s a quieter hostel but I would actually rate it pretty social. I think that’s due to the relaxed and open atmosphere of the place. The common areas is big and plenty of places to sit and you end up talk...

Fantastic hostel in every way. Clean washrooms; showers have good pressure & hot water. Dorm rooms are quiet & clean with curtains for privacy. Each bed has a light and electrical outlet. Large & fully stocked kitchen. Free coffee. Nice big common area. Sweetest dog on site. Friendly staff. Excellent location. Could have larger lockers for backpacks, however they provide small ones for valuables. I extended my stay here once, and will likely extend again. Can't go wrong for the price!
