absolutely brilliant, im solo travelling and would hundred percent recommend for anyone looking for a comfy, friendly hostel in the perfect location to go outfor food, drinks and meeting people.
The property looks nothing like the photos. I stayed in a 6-bed dorm and the bathroom was very dirty. I had also booked a private room but was told at check-in there was an “electrical fault,” even though I’d spoken to them an hour earlier and everything seemed fine. We were sent to another hostel 1.2 km away where the room smelled and the sheets were dirty. Bags are left unsecured at reception and my friend’s bag was stolen. I don’t understand how this hostel is rated so highly. AVOID...
Ich konnte die Unterkunft nicht besuchen, das sich mein Reiseplan änderte. Auf eine Mail mit Stornierungsanfrage habe ich bis heute keine Rückmeldung erhalten. Schade
I could not visit the accommodation, which changed my travel plan. to an email with cancellation request I have not received any feedback to date. damage
Unsure on any ratings (might be excellent). Confusion with our booking and no beds when we arrived so had to stay somewhere else.
Private Room: very old interior, moldy bathroom, black spots on the ceiling and weird black bugs (?) or at least crumbles along the walls.
Horrible experience! We had to go to the other side of Hanoi because it was raining in our room. The replacement hotel sucked, there was mold, smelled like pee, renovation, no shower, no wifi, … When we asked for a refund, the manager wouldn’t give it to us. Don’t go to Nomad hostel, there are better options in Hanoi Old Quarter!
Worst receptionist in hostel,cannot help to open the door room as i forgot my key in the room,instead he just play games ,sleep and let me at the reception saying is my fault and saying that i must wait someone to check out! Also ,i payed differents prices everyday,they charged me more fews cents,and when i ask why ,the same receptionist by night rey that is not important this is not big money,well!Thanks
Bad experience. Ive stayed in a lot of hostels over the years. this is the first time Ive left a bad review. I had a stomach bug which caused me to vomit. The toilet got blocked instantly. I think the plumbing should be able to handle minor use such as this. Asked if was possible to move to another room as I was still unwell. they said no and that i had to use a public toilet 4 storeys below. The decor was dated and got a really bad vibe overall. Didnt stay the night, Moved to another hostel.
Worst hostel I have stayed. Rooms not clean, staff not friendly and not very social. I got my laundry done here and all my clothes have shrunk because of it. It's located in an alleyway full of rats
we arrived at 3 am after an overnight bus and they had double booked the rooms leaving us with no where to stay so we had to wait an hour whilst he called other places to locate a room

Beautiful Deluxe family suite, a very old school Vibe yet renovated and the nicest bathroom I've ever seen in Hanoi. The customer service is very receptive and always happy to assist. My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it

Hostel is in a great location, within walking distance of tonnes of places to eat, drink, shop and explore. Spacious private room with good facilities and the staff are super helpful with any questions about the Hanoi and the area as well as in booking other tours and experiences! 😊
Dee the security guy is a legend! Everyone is super nice and is in the best location for a Hanoï hostel - most of the others are on hectic streets but this is even more central, but on a quite little street which is heaps nice. Big ups Dee the goat 😊
Great hostel and staff! Stayed in a private room - it was spacious, good AC, balcony and good bathroom. Dee helped decide all of my plans and book some awesome excursions. Good location too!

Wir haben ein anderes Zimmer bekommen als wir gebucht haben und unsere Betten wurden neu gemacht und neu vergeben bevor wir überhaupt ausgecheckt haben. Sie haben sich dafür aber entschuldigt und wir durften uns jeweils ein Getränk nehmen.
We got a different room when we booked and our beds were made and laid before we even checked out, but they apologized and we were allowed to each have a drink.
