Pod-Inn Hotel

​I stayed here, paid the $186.24 balance at the desk, but the property incorrectly marked me as a "No-show." Consequently, they unauthorizedly charged an additional $239.86 via the online gateway.​Even after providing proof (receipt & bank statement), the manager refuses to refund, claiming "no record in PMS"—ignoring the automated gateway logs. Total lack of integrity. Dealing with a formal chargeback now. AVOID THIS PLACE to protect your money.

I stayed here for one night after arriving late due to a delayed flight. Late check-in was possible after emailing the staff. I booked a “private room,” but all pods (even the private ones) are in one large shared space with no locks, open ceilings, and no privacy despite the extra cost. The bed was very dirty (hair & smell) and noisy, and I only stayed because I had no other option. The positive point was that I received a price reduction after emailing them about my experience.

The pods doesn't have a lock and there is no ceiling. My neighbour kept their light on all night. Felt more like a dorm than a pod.

I do not feel this hostel is safe. There are no locks whatsoever in the building - only flimsy lockers in each pod. No doors either at the entrance or to the sleeping area are locked. There is one staff member near the door but they do not check if you're staying there. It would be extremely easy to go in and stay in a pod you didn't pay for or steal luggage. The luggage room is not locked or monitored at ALL.

Overall decent place if you need something cheap and quick, good location although was pretty upset that they claim they have lockers.. it’s a small cupboard in your bunk which had a broken lock. So no point in storing anything since it dosent lock anyways..

Stayed one night; good location, quiet, comfortable bed, glad to have cold breakfast included (cereal, toast, coffee). Would stay again.

I’m traveling alone in Toronto, and staying at this inn has been such a lucky find. The location is amazing—right in downtown, super close to subways, buses, great food, and shopping. As someone who loves to eat, I’d often walk around, grab some food, and when I get tired, just come back here to rest. It’s been perfect. There’s a police station right next door, so even coming back at midnight, I never feel scared. The service is great, and the place is clean and bright.

Having stayed in several hostels in Toronto, this has been my best experience. The place is clean, and the staff are very kind and friendly. The workspace and the meditation room are a big plus. The cherry on top is the central location — major attractions and public transportation are easily accessible. An excellent experience ^^

The staff is excellent. Their service is very friendly, warm, and helpful. Tom is friendly and kind—he is an excellent host. I would definitely come back without hesitation. The location is perfect ,easy to find. Clean, well-organized, and quiet—perfect for resting. If you are traveling for tourism or business, downtown is the ideal location. The concept of this place is to provide a calm and comfortable space where guests can relax and rest

Atmosphere was really nice, lounge area, study area, bathrooms, changing rooms, luggage area, super clean and you can’t really hear the other people once you’re in your pod that much except for sometimes you can hear them turn. The people there are also super friendly as well. For the price, it’s amazing value. The owner is also super kind with all the supporting staff as well. Just keep in mind, check out is at 11 am

For a hostel, it is great. The blind to my pod really did make me feel like I had my privacy as well, although so did my pod with a lockable sliding door in my hostel in Copenhagen, which had the benefit of doubling as a large safe while I was out. Can't help thinking this would have been better than the lockable (but definitely penetrable) cabinet in the pod itself here. That said, I did leave my valuables in there and all was okay. The personal smart TV was a nice bonus.

I stayed at the Pod-Inn Hotel Toronto for a week and was really impressed. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the owner truly goes the extra mile to make sure guests are comfortable and happy. The building is spotless, modern, and very well maintained. The location is great-close to downtown and easy to get around. I highly recommend it and will absolutely stay here again.
